About Me if Anybody is Curious

Hi,

it's ya boy, Nutty.

I mean, it's really not, but kinda considering taking it up as a pen name. Reflects the personality well.

Anyway, since I've gained a different circle here on AFF since my last like, 50 questions thing, I will be doing a brief overview of personal facts for anybody new/curious. I also recommend that for anybody who hasn't done it in a while/feel comfortable sharing things. You never know where you'll find fellow fans and also people change.

1. Age/Location/Name:

Yeah, I have too many questionable things here on AFF to reveal super true information, so as I stated above, I have yet to decide on a pen name (given I may actually start regularly producing content, but a name may not even be necessary, who knows). My old one I always used was Cassie... for some reason.. not sure why? My location is the East Coast of the USA. I am in my younger 20's (can legally drink in the US gang). I think, for the fandoms I am in, I am average to younger aged, but as I recently returned to Instagram this summer, I have discovered that I am like... OLD... on there. There's barely anybody I can find running big accounts or fighting in the comments that is over 20 and it is ASTOUNDING to me. When I had my first accounts, I was the young one. Where did everybody else go????

2. Main Fandoms:

So I know because of author statements and repeated offenses that Harry Potter is under heavy scrutiny right now, but I am still a fan of the series. I don't agree with her and never really liked her all that much, but I spent a good chunk of my childhood immersed in the world she created, so despite its flaws (and hers) I still hold it dear. I have not written Harry Potter fanfiction, I just used to read a ton of it. I also didn't read/write Percy Jackson fanfiction and to this day I'm not really sure why... I just re-read the books a lot instead. Another decently large chuck of childhood. In Kpop I like a bunch of bands, EXO pretty much being my main, though I hold so many soft spots for other groups. I just don't get tired of EXO...

Holy crap I used to name like 20 fandoms and now I'm struggling to name 4 where I am actually active or look at information regarding...is this... dare I say, growing up?

(No, adults can totally be in fandoms)

IDK man, like... I like a lot of music?? I studied music so I hope so... I do gaming things... I like watching people cosplay... Disney as a company is highkey annoying and awful but the creative work and joy they inspire is cute...

3. School?

I just applied to Grad school so... yeah. With any luck I will be a Master's student soon? Eventually going for a Ph D. In undergrad I studied uhh... well I switched majors like 6 times, but I have a degree in Chinese language and a minor in Music and Culture. My other majors were Computer Science (HA), Business (ha-HA), Music (still can't read Western notation. Theory was hell), Acting, and Linguistics, in that order.

UGH what a . An academic HOE.

I've been around.

Anybody who knows me well/personally is painfully aware that I am not inclined to be decent at anything considered STEM or "normal", like finance or business or accounting or management, so me looking back at these majors and remembering the struggle is hilarious to me now.

And if it seems like I spent a lot of time in school, it's because I did. I have been in college for 7 years, and this is my first gap year. I started a bit earlier compared to most people. I think most people start at 17-19; I was 14. Dual enrollment: save time, save money, lose social life.

4. Pets

My parents have a dog and I happen to live with my parents at the moment. They also have chickens.

I have a fish. His name is Taiko.

5. Games I Play

Sometimes "play" is a generous word.

Does staring at a title screen or watching Twitch count?

I typically play Mario 64 on my Ds. I've been trying to learn speedrunning, but my Ds really is like 10+ years old so mashing the buttons around is not preferrable.

I play Chess lmao. Need For Speed.

My one friend dragged me into play Six Siege and can I just say, as a person who is naturally jumpy, that game is actually torture??? I was shaking after my first round and it was a PRACTICE MODE with him and his friends. Bots, we were killing bots. I almost cried. I physically duck out of the way even when I train it. The footsteps make me paranoid. The recoil is startling, and there's too many damn controls. That being said, I run into similar problems with Warzone, PUBG, and CSGO (though nice title screen music, CSGO).

I actually do play League. I'm not good and even though I do train with different champions, I'm only confident to pick the same one every game against AI. Which is bad, because people ban Lux a lot and  that's a SLIGHT issue if she's the only one I perform well with. Typically I replace her with Morgana, but she just doesn't feel the same. I also use Akali a lot but I have veryyyyy little skill with her. I want to main Kai' Sa but that would require actually being decent at the game, and IDK that sounds like a difficult achievement.

6. Random

I ran out of things to say already. I like emerald. I'm filing paperwork for marriage. I am trying to find a day or part-time job, but I also do voice acting and screen acting. If this account disappears without notice, I've deemed it a threat to my rising popularity (LOL) and am getting rid of as many receipts as I can. I don't have an ultimate bias but Luhan remains one of my favorite idols. I have a playlist for when I feel depressed/worthless/not feeling enough emotions because I shut down. I have a playlist for cleaning (that never gets used). I get stressed easily. I've only moved once in my life for college. I can't stand living with my parents. Finding a job right now is hell and I need Zales to contact me back. Do you think selling feet pics can pay rent because Nutty over here needs income.

These aren't really facts, huh? They're more like... category + word vomit = this.

Well, anyway, I hope you enjoyed these and gain a bit of an idea of me. Thank you for reading this far, and I hope everybody stays safe this holiday season!!!!

Happy Holidays to everybody celebrating!

-Nutty. Knutty?
