so what's the deal?

in china we like to compare people to things (ex. children to other children cough cough). included in these 'things' is of course the category of animals. chinese people LOVE comparing people to animals. birds, cats, dogs, cows, dear god you name it we got it (it also doesn't help if you fit into the stereotype of your chn zodiac). 

so anyway, after getting into bilibili at the beginning of this year (wow has it only been so short a time???) i started noticing that i am indeed a chinese person. no, not because i can read speak write, but because i, having no contact with the chinese kpop community before this, compared some idols i like to animals and came onto bilibili to find that the majority of people ing agree with me?????

okay well let me just say real quick that the only kpop groups i keep up with on bilibili are tvxq, wayv, shinhwa, and sometimes exo, sometimes ftisland. i don't particularly want to deal with the drama of any other fandoms right now lol though i can list out, off the top of my head, some miscellaneous idols who fit the theme of this blog.

anyway anyway, moving on.

 

difference between foxes and cats?

i mean... from a biological perspective, they're from different families (King Philip Came Over From Great Spain, anyone?)... but from a personality perspective, i think there's something a littttle more.

oh and btw these are all my own opinions! plus there's a certain way that chinese-raised ppl tend to think (obv since so many ppl agree on this topic lol) so it might seem sort of weird or some of yall might not get what i mean but you know what that's okay, as long as you're having fun reading this it doesn't really matter lol.

 

cat-ppl:

- might come off as argumentative, bossy, and/or tsundere

- soft bean on the inside

- acts cute and baby when with friends

- likes physical contact

- can be eccentric sometimes

- eyes are curvy and pretty

- quick to temper but also quick to untemper

 

fox-ppl:

- smart

- might be a lil on the down-low (aka observe more than talk/show off)

- hidden(?) strong leadership skills

- bullied and seem to not be able to fight back but when they do fight back--

- rarely get super angry? but you don't want to make them angry

- you can see the gears turning in their head

- often do some clever lil thing and then you can see the smug aura around them

- he's the type of person who's always thinking of clever lil ideas

- always feels like he's waiting for the right moment to pounce...

- can be fox or dog; his personality makes him seem more of a puppy tho

- idk bp very well so i can't say; i feel like she's more of a cat-person

- i also do not know bts very well LOL but i can see jimin being either

- let us not mention (tmi alert) baby cow hybrid jimin

- yeji (itzy)

- def looks like a fox uwu but idk itzy so from what little i do know, she very well could be a kitty! think chn ppl probably more put her as fox

- seulgi (red velvet)

- could be either! though i think, as with baekhyun, her personality makes her more of a dog (ain't her zodiac a dog too?)
