Haneul is a mix of ENTJ (the commander) and ENFJ (the protagonist). Aries. Gryffindor/Slytherin.

 

 Past 

Haneul used to be a confident gril, who was fearless and thought that she could do anything she wished for. She was aware of her looks and was confient in the way she looked. She liked to be the center of the attention and to inspire others. Although she could be selfish sometimes and act childish, she actually cared that the people she loved were well. Even though she looked cold, she used to be warm and funny towards the people she cared about and with whom she felt comfortable. Haneul also had a huge pride and was very stubborn and strong-willed so it was difficult to make her change her mind once she settled herself to do something. At a certain point she didn't know anymore if all these traits of her personality was indeed herself or if was a persona she ended up creating while becoming Sky. Furthermore, all Haneul thought and lived for was music, she never paid attention to boys before and her career was her life. Also, due to her hard personality she could be straightforward and sometimes say things that could hurt other people, but she really never meant harm.

 

 After the Incident 
 

After everything that happened to her, she couldn't be that super confident girl anymore. She kept her struggles to herself, but the fact that she couldn't perform in a stage truly destroyed her. Then, the fact that the people she thought to be her friends abandoned her and turned their backs on her just made her feel even smaller. She closed herself about her past. She didn't want anyone to recognize her and expose who she is, since a big part of her still wishes to return to the big stage and become famous. She is trying to adjust to the world with this new reality. She is trying to talk to people and not ignoring them as she used to (she used to do that to people other than her closed ones), however, since she is new in talking to people she may sound rude and arrogant when in fact, she just want to try. When it comes to music, she can't help it. If she sees a piece of music she likes or if she sees potential in someone, she may try to give some advice due to her experience in the music field and in performing for international contests, but she forgets that not anyone is ok with her giving her opinion and also, the way she talks may sound cold to those who don't know her. When she gets comfortable with someone, she will show her true self, a funny girl, extroverted, energetic and always ready for adventure. Although she doesn't have many friends at the moment, she appreciates those she have and she may be very protective to them and also, she won't have any problem in teasing them whenever she has the chance. She is still stubborn and charismatic and she still wants to inspire people, however, she doesn't want to be recognized as the failure she thinks she is. She keeps caring a lot about her looks, charm and body, keeping a routine at home as she used to do when she was training at the agency. She is still straightforward and bold, so sometimes people mistakes her as being cold and arrogant.

In the future Haneul may regain her big confidence and be the happy person she is, she is trying to find who she really is and adjust to a new life. Although she was famous, she never cared about what people used to think about her because she thought she was talented, but ever since her confidence has decreased (but not disappeared totally), she started to want to be invisible and hope that no one judges her for her failures. She wants to inspire people and connect with them through her music. She is a good listener and may provide good advice. Although she tries not to gather attention due to her decreased confidence, she is a born leader and sometimes can be a bit bossy. She is a funny girl (sometimes can act childish), who may play matchmake to those she cares about, but who never actually thought about love regarding herself.

BACKGROUND

 

 Childhood 

Haneul was born in a lovely family in Seoul. Her parents loved their baby daughter very much. At a young age Haneul showed to be talented and interested in music, and the first time Haneul saw a piano at 6 years of age, her eyes glowed and soon she found herself asking her mother to play the piano that was in the music classroom where her mother worked. Her mother let her daughter use the piano and not long after Haneul begged her mother to have music classes. Her familly wasn't perfect financially, her father was working in a big company while her mother worked as a teacher for elementary children. So in order to pay for Haneul's classes at a music academy, her father had to work harder and stay late at work often for business and her mother also had to do a lot of sacrifices. Haneul easily mastered the piano, when she was at the age of 8 she started winning national contests and playing Mozart, Bach, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky symphonies. At 10 years old, she was already considered a talented genious in her town and won several international competitions.

 

 High School 

Growing up, Haneul became popular and was used to people being nice to her. As she grew up, she started to get interested in becoming a full music artist. She was good not only at playing piano, but also as a singer and she really only cared about music. She became an Youtuber and not only composed songs, but also made covers and put them on her channel. One of her videos became viral and that was the start of her recognition. People knew her as a talented pianist, but soon big agencies became interested in her. She always cared a lot for her image and her body. As soon as she got an audition at one of the big three agencies, she couldn't believe herself. She decided to use her artistic name as Sky, the english version of her own name. Her popularity made everyone get to aproach her and she even had a lot of people jealous of her. Boys often confessed to her, but Haneul only cared about music and her career, she breathed, lived and dreamed about music all the time. Having people knowing her, due to her popularity and her winning contests, performing and being part of an agency, made her get arrogant, confident and aware of her image. People around her helped increasing her ego by always complimenting her, but they were either jealous of her or they faked to be her friends because of her popularity.

One of Haneul's biggest dreams was to go to Julliard to get a higher education and improving her career, so she could become a worldwide famous artist. Everything in her life was great, she was beautiful, talented, acknowledged and her career was just starting. She would still make videos for her channel to update her fans. However, her life started to turn for the worst at her senior year.

 

 The incident 

Since her family had no means to pay for her tuition in New York, Haneul had no other option than to apply for a scholarship, but she knew that it was extremely hard to get a scholarship for Julliard. She passed the auditions for the international school and she was happy because she knew she was talented, however, since she couldn't afford the fees, she needed to wait to see if she got the scholaship. Unlucky for her, she was waitlisted and not long after she was rejected, because that particular year the number of scholaships were terribly reduced.

Now that she didn't have Julliard she decided to dedicate her full attention to her agency. She worked 24/7, took care of her diet because they said that one of her charms was her looking like a princess and that she could be labeled as the Korea sweetheart. She was thrilled (but exhausted), however, she soon realized that people in her agency were far more talented and beautiful than her and her skyrock confidence was lightly reduced.

It is known that tragedies come altogether, so her life got even worst. She was training hard to debut as a singer and they were expecting to release her first song when she got around 18-19 years. One day, after she finished her training, she was crossing the street. The trafic light was green to her, while it was red for the cars, however, she suddenly saw a strong light fast, coming into her direction, not stopping and before she could do anything the car hit her and she laid uncounscious in the crosswalk.

She woke up in the hospital a few days later. The doctors explained that she would be fine and that she was a victim of a hit and run accident, but the person who was driving the car have not been found yet. After the accident, Haneul was trying to return back to her life, but she was scared to death. Then something terrible happened, when she was feeling better and was going on stage to perform, she froze, she started trembling and panicking due to the lights of the stage and she had flashbacks of the accident. Her mother took her to a doctor, who diagnosed her with post traumatic stress and that she would have a rough time adjusting again to perform, since strong lights seemed to be a trigger for her. Haneul was devasted, all she even knew in her life was music. Her supoposed friends turned their backs to her because they didn't need her anymore and didn't need to deal with her. And soon, her fans and other people started to question what happened to her since Sky suddenly dissapeared from social media, youtube and also didn't perform.

Not knowing what to do, Haneul realized that she needed to find herself a way out of the spotlight before anyone found or started more rumors about her. Her mother was offered a job in Ulsan to teach there, so Haneul thought that maybe applying for an university there would be her way out. She remembered that a band group that she liked used to attend an university there, so she searched for a scholarship and applied for the University of Ulsan. Since her whole life was dedicated to music, Haneul decided to major in music and for now work on improving her music prodution and song writing, and who knew, maybe one day she would be able to perform and become the famous artist she always dreamed to become. Now she needed to start fresh, finding who she is beside Sky and hope that no one recognizes her there.

WEEKDAYS: During the week Haneul has her classes and then she spends her time listening to music, writing lyrics and composing. She also likes to spend some time with her friends, outside university, but she isn't much of a nightlife party person, since she wants to act invisible (due to her energetic personality it becomes a challenge for her not to stand out). She is fine with partying with her friends, but she just doesn't enjoy places too crowded. Once a week (Friday) she goes to her mother's school to entertain children. She created an extracurricular time for them to enjoy music, she either teaches them how to play or they sing songs together. Haneul also teaches piano lessons to whoever is interested in learning. Furthermore, she is working as a part-timer in c Factory.

WEEKENDS: Her life during weekends is not different from her weekdays. She spends a lot of time with her songs but she also likes to exercise and chill. Haneul gets often bored, so she easily calls her friends to meet up and spend time together. Other than that, she may watch movies, tv series or spend time at her room. She is always ready for a challenge so if anyone invites her for an adventure so would definitely agree to it.

Haneul played with her hair as she didn't want to answer the question, but she knew she couldn't avoid it "I graduated from Seoul School of Performing Arts".

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THIS MAJOR? IF YOU ARE CURRENTLY UNDECIDED, WHICH MAJOR ARE YOU LEANING TOWARDS?
Haneul raises an eyebrow as she looks to the person who interviews her "I love music". She gives the 'what else' look, but sighs and decides to be polite "Music is my life, this is why I was born".

WHAT DO YOU HOPE TO GAIN OUT OF COLLEGE LIFE?
"I'm not sure myself. I hope I can make emends and peace with myself. This major may help me have more in deephs in the music industry, but honestly I hope it helps me overcome my problem. And I also hope that I manage to make friends".

WHAT IS ONE WORD THAT YOU WOULD WANT PEOPLE TO DESCRIBE YOU AS?
"Talented? Beautiful? Goddess?" Haneul laughed and shock her head "Just kidding. I want to think that people see me as a talented musician or someone's role model. I want to be one day remembered as the legend, someone who was worth it and who was unique and happy".

WHAT PART-TIME JOBS ARE YOU UNDERTAKING NOW OR PLAN TO UNDERTAKE IN THE FUTURE?
"I help my mother entertaining children and teach them music, but I don't see that as a part-time. I also work as a part-timer in C Factory".

HOW DO YOU COPE WITH STRESSFUL SITUATIONS?
"First I will listen to music, if I'm inspired, write lyrics or compose. If I'm angry I'll probably yell or try to relieve my stress by working out. But I think it depends on the situation actually".

WHAT IS YOUR TAKE ON DRINKING, CLUBBING, AND NIGHTLIFE ACTIVITIES?
"I prefer to stay invisible, let's just say that I don't want people to think I'm a certain person" Haneul bits her lower lip as she doesn't want to expose herself "But honestly? I like to have fun, not in the 'I want to hook up with a stranger' way, but being with my friends, partying with them, drinking with them, getting crazy and have fun kind of way".

DO YOU PLAN TO STUDY ABROAD AS AN EXCHANGE STUDENT FOR A SEMESTER? IF SO, WHERE?
"Honestly, I wish I could. That sounds like a great adventure. I would like to study for example in UK, New York and Germany, since there are great music universities there. But I'd have to work a lot to save money, or win a scholarship. I don't want to be a burden to my parents".

WHICH PLACES WOULD YOU LIKE TO TRAVEL TO DURING SCHOOL BREAKS?
"I think I'd be fine going anywhere as long as I'm with those I love. I would love to travel abroad and meet USA, UK, France, Japan or any other country if I had the opportunity. I also would enjoy going to Jeju Island, I've never been there before. Ok I'd love to go anywhere with my friends or family".

WHAT ARE YOUR SHORT-TERM AND LONG-TERM GOALS AFTER GRADUATING?
"After graduating? My dream was always to be a world known artist, compose and sing all over the world, my concerts selling out, inspire people to follow their dreams and maybe, who knows, be a Broadway star. Honestly? I think I just want to be able to perform again and finding who I really am. Because now, not performing as Sky makes me feel empty. I truly want to finally have my own album and I want to be happy. I want to make my parents and friends proud".
