Yejun is very into fashion and shopping, and tends to dress very well put together regardless of the occasion. He wears makeup out in public and sometimes at the dorms, but usually looks 10/10 with style on point. if he were to define his style, it's definitely stylish bad boy, grungy rock chic with a hint of whimiscal flare. he can go from rock chic to baby boi though with with sweaters and camisols. He hues of black and darker shades along with white, creams, and browns.

Of course he wears color too but most of his outfits are very stark and sleek. Sweaters are a must with cold weather, along with skinny jeans and trousers at all times. You can catch Yejun in nice button ups, as well as rocker tees and dark tshirts, platform sneakers or loafers. You can catch him a track suits, and comfortable yet stylish joggers, with an oversized sweatshirt or tshirt, as well as a colorful windbreaker. Yejun likes outerwear a lot, so he owns a large assortment of jackets of all sorts. If he wants to be casual and stylish, he'll wear a band t or some kind of graphic t with skinny jeans and platform shoes or clunky sneakers.

He likes the oversized look as well, but doesn't wear oversized shirts all the time. He wears a lot of street style as well and isn't afraid to mix things up but he doesn't wear a lot of pastels or softer hues. He does like to wear jewlrey, like lots of rings, chokers, layered necklaces, dangly earrings.

When it's time to dress up, you best believe Yejun is going to take it very seriously and look stylish to a t. A very nice dress shirt/button up that is silk or satin, sometimes velvet and other lush materials, with ripped jeans or fitted trousers. Lots of jewlry and makeup, and sometimes a huge sweater if its colder or nice outerwear like pea coats, or trenches.

[ APPEARANCE ] WHAT REALLY TAKES PEOPLE BY SURPRISE IS HOW VASTLY DIFFERENT YEJUN'S RAPPING tone IS FROM HIS PRETTY and handsome APPEARANCE. wITH A tone raspy and rough, sounding like a mix between swallowing a mouthful of glass and an angry trucker, yejun really is an enigma. A soft and beautiful ice prince, with looks only a fairy of fables could acquire. He’s as pale complected as a pearl, with delicately slim features  except for his sharp eyes. because of his narrow, monolid gaze, at times he can come off as very cold and untouchable. An absolute stunner, Yejun is used to getting stares or called ‘cute,’ ‘handsome,’ and ‘pretty’. a face as slim as his body, and High cheekbones. when he smiles, his eyes turn pretty and warm, almost resembling a fox or cat, with a nearly perfect nose carved from god himself, as well as pillowy plush lips.

no one can deny his ethereal otherworldly appearance. He’s cold and captivating, with a surreal glowing aura that at times, it doesn’t seem someone so pretty is real. He has a slim physique from his current love of exercising and jogging.

For the most part, Yejun is on the taller side of the spectrum but he's definitely not the tallest guy around. He's grateful for at least a little height to make him look more like a dude. If there is something he's proud of about his body though, it has to be his abs. Yeah that boy has a six-pack and he's happy with it, not that he shows it off often or anything but still. Knowing its there is great. Yejun also has rather shapely thighs and from all of his exercising.

His thighs aren't huge but they're more shapely than average, and definitely toned. His is bridging on a bubble and he's a bit embarrassed if anyone says something about it. His biceps are also toned and show some wiry muscle, thought overall he's not a huge guy. More lithe and thin with a tiny waist that most women would die to have, than bulky or muscled up.  Hair - right now Yejun's hair is shortish and black, though he experiments with his looks a lot and isn't afraid to dye his hair various colors or try different makeup.

[ piercings ] The only major difference between Yejun and his FC would be he has a lip piercing, just a simple hoop, with many ear piercings. He can take the lip piercing out, obviously and does when instructed but leaves it in a lot. He's thinking about getting more piercings later on but hasn't quite decided.

[ TATTOOS ]
[ LEFT FOREARM ] on the underside sensitive skin of his left forearm, Yejun has a tattoo of the Sagittarius constellation in delicate little flowers, vines and leaves. He shares this tattoo with his sister who has the same one on her right forearm. They got it together when Yejun turned eighteen as a special sibling bonding thing, since they're both Sagittarius and Yejun is so into astrology. 

                     

Yejun comes from a lower-middle-class Korean family, for the most part. His parents were by no means wealthy (not even close) and lived very modest lives. He is the younger sibling to his older sister. Despite not being more or less on the not exceptionally well off section of the scale, he and his sister never went without. His parents provided them with everything they could, and he was more than happy playing makebelieve with his sister than getting the newest toy on the market. Yejun and his sister look very much alike, and when he was little, he would frequently get asked if he was her little sister. Yejun was a very soft and adorable kid, so it wasn’t any shocker that he was compared to his equally soft and adorable noona. He dressed in bright colors and liked happy cute things, a naive baby with only his noona to look up to.

Like any other child, Yejun never thought anything about the way he looked or the household situation. He was blissfully unaware that his tendencies to like glittery purple t-shirts over sportswear was abnormal for a Korean boy. He didn’t know that because his family wasn’t the best financially, wearing his sister's clothes to save money was strange. Yejun loved harry potter and fairy tales and hoped to grow up to be a wizard one day.

Overall, the kid was very sweet and whimsical, happy to play with his sister's dolls together and let her dress him in hand-me-down pink shorts. Yejun just really wanted to be himself and didn’t know anything different. He wasn’t aware of gender norms and was only really focused on crafting and having fun. This all changed, though, as he grew. As a five-year-old in school, no other kid really judged. Not until Yejun was eight years old did it really change.

Yuna-noona’s friends thought Yejun was a cute little bundle of fluff and sunshine but the boys in his year did not. By this age, kids really started to perceive the world and make judgments. The boys had a field day making remarks about Yejun, with his whimsicality paired with the hand-me-downs from his sister. This was when they dubbed him the princess, and he hated it so much. Every day he would go home and cry about being made fun of. He continues to get bullied for his appearance and for his ‘poorness,’ some boys labeling him as a fairy in a derogatory sense.

He was then known as the poor crybaby, fairy boy freak to the eyes of the other boys. It was tough to ignore people’s hurtful comments and actions. Instead, Yejun either kept to himself or talked and played with the girls in his class since they didn’t make fun of him as much. Finally, his mom caught wind of the situation. She told Yejun to pretend like he didn’t care what others thought because kids were just mean and couldn’t see the kind, sensitive soul on the inside, which leads Yejun to develop the front he has now, only getting more closed off and frigid as he ages.

As more time passed and he got older, Yejun finally had enough of the comments. He was beyond tired of being unfairly judged. So what if he couldn’t afford as many things as other kids? So what if he liked cute plushies over toy cars? Yejun pretended for a while that he moved on from his interests and turned to more typical ‘boy’ things, and yet, it all worked except for the fact he looked quite feminine. So Yejun started being meaner, started being savage. He could show them he was a ‘man.’ He could fit in.

All this pretending led Yejun to get into several fights with the bullies, and he was dubbed a ‘bad boy’ which was farther from the truth than anything. Yejun - soft smiles and pretty sharp eyes - a bad boy? Laughable. But it circulated and led to Yejun getting into more scuffles than he wanted, and avoiding most of his school mates.

By now, he knew what was considered cool in his classmates' eyes, and the Korean rap scene was it. All the kids were influenced by their older siblings, which began the rap craze. He pretended to be interested in it at school, but in the privacy of his home where he could fully be himself, he wasn’t so sure. He didn’t like the aggression, the sharp and heavy tempo mixed with mind-numbing beats, and the ever-present ‘scary intimidation’ of the rappers themselves.

After Yejun got a little older and puberty hit, his voice became extremely different from his appearance. It was almost hilarious that this feminine, pretty boy suddenly had this deep, raspier voice. This didn’t stop him from singing along to Red Velvet at home and happily enjoying tender ballads. As the bad boy now, still being scrutinized for being ‘poor and weird’ with a pretty face, Yejun really wanted people to get off his back. How to prove to them that he wasn’t someone to be messed with? That he wasn’t a cry baby fairy (totally was lol). Well, he’d play their own game.

Yejun started listening to underground rap music, despite not really liking most of it at first, but he would rap along, teaching himself the techniques. And let me tell yah, this was entirely something else for him. Like I said, his voice naturally a lower raspy baritone when talking, but when he rapped… damn, he sounded like an angry trucker. It was insane, and he honestly scared himself at times. it was so different from his image so far and it would be perfect to get everyone putting their judgement behind them.

This was when Yejun started showing up to the underground rap scene that the kids from his school frequented. He managed to use his spite as fuel and ended up rapping in front of the crowd with his crazy- voice. And to say they were surprised was an understatement. Who the hell was this pretty boy with a voice as deep as the ocean? Yejun showed them for sure. The boys that used to bully him suddenly switched like a light, trying to become his friend, and Yejun wasn’t having it. He wasn’t easily swayed. But he did start enjoying the freedom of making music.

This new side of himself changed his narrative and fast. Suddenly the girls didn’t just want to be friends with him but wanted to date him. The boys were nicer, except for some who were jealous, but they all wanted something from him. No, they didn’t want to get to know the real him. They just wanted something FROM him. Yejun’s new ‘friends’ were so plastic that it hurt. He wondered if their faces would crack under the sheer weight of their fake smiles. Yejun just wanted to be himself, wanted to be liked for himself.

Even if he had this front to protect him, all he ever wanted was freedom and acceptance. He thought he found that in a girl, Kyungmi. Kyungmi was a school mate, a new transfer to his high school, and she was every bit as pretty and delicate as a flower. Kyungmi and Yejun became close, quickly starting a relationship that he thought was everything he wanted. they dated for several years from high school into adulthood.

But honestly, everything about it started to sour. She was fun and lively, she could match his wit and sass, but it was never enough. She also held him down, bit by bit, knocking him beneath her feet. he did music on his own time, and at first kyungmi acted like she was interested until she realized he wasn't doing it to get famous or to actually go some where with it. he didn't upload anything online like she had asked, and he was only really doing it for his own escape and creative outlet. so kyungmi got annoyed about that, telling him it was a waste of time.  Yejun thought he found love. Until he didn’t. The relationship was like a bitter pill coated in sugar. The longer it sat in your mouth, the worse it tasted. Yejun wasn’t enough for her, could never be enough, and the relationship was a toxic one. He gave everything of his real self to her, and she took his heart like it was a flimsy sorry excuse for a present. She pressed down, wanting him to be someone he wasn’t, using and abusing, belittling him.

after yejun was approached during an underground performance by a rep from bbc, kyungmi urged him to take the opprotunity, telling him he could get famous even though he didn't really care about fame. he just wanted to keep doing what he enjoyed, not with the hopes to prosper. but she ended up convincing him to audition. once he became a trainee though, she seemed to get more upset about the fact he wasn't spending enough time with her and was training all the time. kyungmi even speculated that he was cheating on her with an idol or another trainee. this obviously wasn't true, but he couldn't appease her.

kyungmi's dream was to become a successful and popular actress, and not too long after yejun's entry into bbc did she get accepted at fanagio entertainment, a leading actor managment company. of course it seemed like she was fine with spending her time acting and spending less time with yejun, but when he had unintentionally did the same thing to her it wasn't cool. 

fighting keping going on, kyungmi kept doing her guilt tripping nonsense and blaming all of their issues on yejun. Long story short, yejun finally broke things off after kyungmi tried to keep him from seeing his friends. a heartbroken Yejun turned to music again. The thing that genuinely felt freeing to him. And his heart was closed off to shield himself. He couldn’t handle all the fakeness, all the people who didn’t want him but wanted FROM him. All the people that took everything he had to give, taking, taking, taking, and never giving, until he was used up, carelessly tossed to the side.

Music was his friend, his only true friend besides his sister, and a tiny handful of people he had the pleasure of meeting. Music never judged. Music didn’t care. Music didn’t want you to be something you weren’t or stab your bleeding heart. He didn’t have to stick with styles he didn’t actually like. He could be emotional and could show himself, his real raw self in his music.

Yejun wanted to bring something more to rap. He wanted to be an artist who wasn’t stuck in one category, who broke out of the box of genre with rap and singing. He could really connect with others and himself with music. It didn’t matter that he liked Twice, or that Harry Potter was his favorite series. The music scene didn’t give a if you were poor or pretty. It only cared for talent, and Yejun’s true love and passion was born. He didn’t have to compromise himself to be the artist he wanted to become.

They're also close in age, only two years apart, making them have a close relationship. he's constantly supporting her little brother and looking out for him. Haewon calls to check in with YEJUN regularly and of course to . He gets embarrassed when she calls when the other members are around because she'll make comments about how 'cute' they are and how YEJUN is lucky to be around such handsome guys. He knows she's just messing around though, but she loves to fluster him. He relies on his sister a lot and also watches her gymnastics competitions on tv or in person when he can. Yuna is biual and she has come out to their parents, having already had both girlfriends and boyfriends, so she's also supportive of YEJUN's uality and tries to encourage him to find someone to love him as much as he loves them.

YEJUN is closer than some members than others, but for the most part he grows to truly appreciate and care for the others. He sees them as true friends, family, and people that care more about him as a person. He might have conflicts with the members sometimes but overall he thinks of them as his best friends and some of the only people he can rely on. It's a blessing to have them in this. he's happy that he has all of them to experience this crazy dream of debuting as idols together. fame can be scary at times and knowing there are others here to hold his hand and be by his side is a huge comfort. it's not just yejun against the world, its the whole squad and he wouldn't trade them for anything.

Their dynamic is literal parents, with yejun as Vincent's savage, nagging wife. As soon as yejun and vincent met, yejun realized the other was either an or awkward as hell because of how quiet he was. Yejun being closed off to people he doesn’t know decided he would probably have to be the one to break the weirdness to at least get along. He was fine with going about his business until he heard vincent speaking with some of the other trainees in such a polite manner that yejun instantly liked him. He felt like vincent was just misunderstood like he is, maybe closed off and cold at first glance because of his own past and yejun understood that. He decided to be polite with the other yet keep a professional distance as usual. What truly changed things was when one particular trainee decided they were going to be an to everyone else and cause problems. Some trainee guy was ing around during practice, insulting some of the other trainees and insinuating he was better than them. He started to make some of the younger trainees upset and yejun could see even tai tearing up from how rude the trainee was. Well, yejun not being someone who can hold his tongue decided to tell that guy just what was on his mind and protect his children of course, but much to his complete shock, vincent did the same thing at the very same time - both of them went off of the trainee full on parent mode. The stunned trainee completely shut his mouth and yejun and vincent stared at each other in disbelief until yejun busted out laughing, sarcastically declaring vincent as his tag team. From that moment forward, the rest of the trainees called them mom and dad, beginning a beautiful friendship of parents. Yejun and vincent are great friends, and yejun definitely takes up for vincent with his social awkwardness, while vincent comforts the overemotional crybaby yejun. They also make one hell of a team, ready to take down anyone that gets in the way of their sons. Cue yejun’s nagging voice “VINCENT, I told those brats to clean up the ing dorm and they are trying to sass me! Can you believe it? Go put them in time out before I beat their asses because i’m getting close to snapping!”
