A Walkthrough for the College Apps Process (UK ver.)

Okay hi everyone, you can call me Suhyo and I'll be here to talk about college apps! This summer I've been prepping for UK universities applications and let me just say it's hella stressful so I just want to share my ongoing experience about it. Some parts will be purposely vague because I've received a lot of help in certain areas that I would prefer not to disclose. That said, I'll try my best to share as much as I can and as much as I did. Without further ado, let's begin

(Note that this thread is NOT meant for applicants for the 2021 - 2022 year, which is when I myself will be starting college. If you want more information on that, you can check out Reddit or The Student Room. As I'm documenting as I go, this will be for future applicants who have an interest in applying after this year.)

(This thread will be continuously updated as I continue through what I've been doing)

(I'll also be dividing each page into two sections; what I did myself, and what advice I can give to certain other courses. Take everything I say with a grain of salt though, because know that everyone's application and background is different!)

1. How the UK college app system works

2. Choosing your degree and school

3. Building your application

4. Personal Statement

5. Transcripts and the UCAS app

6. Interviews and Admissions Test

7. Offers and your A-Levels/insert exam you take here

8. Results Day + Clearing

(Extras:

a. Oxbridge applications

b. Dealing with depression and anxiety and the world during college apps season!!)
