ever since she was a child, she worked with her parents and brother in their family's hotpot restaurant. one day, after the resto closed, yīnghuā insisted on helping her mother clean the counter. her mother told her that she need to find something she wants to do for herself, which replied by yīnghuā that her dream is to build a beautiful family with her future lover. she then went upstairs to find her brother secretly looking at some photos. in an attempt to see, she accidentally spilled juice on his pictures which were revealed to be pictures of snh48's wu zhehan. clearly frustated, her brother started telling yīnghuā how amazing snh48 is and that he was not be able to get tickers for their concert. lucky enough that time yīnghuā had friend whose their father is a promotor. yīnghua asked this friend for some aid and both her and her brother were able to go to the concert.
the next day, after she saw snh48's performance, yīnghuā became entranced. her friends came over and explained to her about snh48's audition and how she is going to try it. yīnghuā of course, wanted to try it too. too bad her mother told her that becoming an idol is not a good idea. as a woman, she should stay at home and taking care of the family. clearly something which couldn't do by public figure. she tried it anyway, but unfortunately failed because in fact her voice is quite awful. but since then, she admired those who can pull off stage perform well.
met zhengting was a bless. he's totally the man of her dream. he's handsome, he's nice and on the top of that, he's a great performer. that's why yīnghuā is so into him. at first she thought her story with zhengting was only a puppy love. they won't last long. but now after spending 7 years with him, she changed that mind. she is really in love with him and wish someday, they'll get married and build they own family.

zhengting, as a high achievers, tends to set high goals and work hard toward them. zhengting participated in the Korean boy group survival reality show, "Produce 101" which aired on Mnet in 2017. He was eventually eliminated.
After his elimination, he participated in a similar Chinese survival boy band show, Idol Producer. the two first meet in their first day in high school as they shared the same desk. her first impression on zhengting is : this guy is awfully quiet. while zhengting thinks of her as the noisy one. imagine how this fluffball who is filled with bunch of excitement chirped for whole day about her plans throughout high school. while the quiet zhu zhengting just sat still on his place, nodded and gave some response without being really interested. yup, that kind of awkwardness was what surrounded them that time.
yīnghuā nosiness became even worse when the art class starts and zhengting mesmerized everyone in the room with his dance and singing skills. our guo yīnghuā who had been dream on becoming an idol since she was a child got startruck when she saw him. she can sense a great talent on him. shortly said, yes she develop a crush on him starting on that day.
