haha im ruined

hey (whoever reading this). i got accepted for my internship and the company told me to read about some things, specifically, marketing things haha, SO YEAH IM DOOMED.

could anyone tell me what does webinar means in an easy way, how to build an online social presence using social media platforms and any idea what i can do to impress them? just anything will do since im so clueless now haha kill me neh

Webinar = Seminar through web/online.
Building your social media presence... you mentioned 'marketing' then it probably means the company is selling products or something, right? You could start building your online social presence on social media by creating a page dedicated to your 'business/company that you work for (their products)'. Make use of the social media platform to introduce your brand/products. Make connections, engage with people on social media platforms especially on your prospects for customers, that's one thing to make your presence noticeable.
How to impress them?... You gotta be a good talker or good at presenting products (it's marketing).

Webinar is simply a seminar done through a video call/conference. So potentially lots of people may be watching with you. If youre the one talking then people may be watching you.

Im not sure about presence on “social media platforms” is it like the actual social media sites? Or video call presence? If it’s the latter, then make yourself look presentable, raise questions, answer questions, engage. Tougher than it sounds honestly esp it’s only through a camera. I personally prefer in person. But either way social media or vid call, you gotta be thick skinned lmao. Good luck! And congrats!
