Hello 7 years later!

So it's been 7 years since I last logged on, read fics or really got into kpop.

A lot has happened in those 7 years, and since I'm coming back for good this time I thought I'd catch everyone up on where the heck I've been!

2012

I moved to Frederiction in September after FINALLY saying goodbye to that dreadful school I went to.

I moved to a city I'd never been to, alone and I somehow wasn't afraid of any of it because I was looking forward to my escape.

My escape was everything I'd dreamed of and more.

2013

This year was kinda rough for me, to put it lightly I got into my dream school but spent too much time partying and not enough on my grades to which I ended up suspended for a year from school.

Not my brightest moment, but it did teach me that my career and my degree are worth much more to me than anything I'd ever known.

This was a lesson I needed to learn, in doing this I also learned one of my favorite quotes which is now tattooed to the inside of my ribs

"Ruin is a gift, it's the road to transformation"- Elizbeth Gilbert

I worked a lot of odd jobs that year too, my favorite was a gig at Tim Horton's a famous Canadian coffee place, I made good money in tips which is how I paid for school in 2014.

2014

This was my year of redemtion, my suspension ended in September 2014, this was also when I got my first apartment which was amazing. I lived there until I moved away again.

With a new apartment, new attitude toward school and a generally better outlook on life I was ready to start over, again.

This was an amazing year for me, I made a few decent friends that I'm still close with and my grades got a lot better, espesially after I switched faculties.

I'm now a Criminology major!

2015

This was a year of all kinds fun, I went tubing with my friends that summer and worked two jobs (which almost hospitalized me at one point)

I stayed out until dawn, watched the sun rise and set a lot that summer. It was a good year to be alive and opening myself up more to people which wasn't something I'd done ever.

2016

This is the year everything changed.

I met someone that summer that would change my life forever, someone I'd marry and to this day we're in a house in a place even further away now.

I became an army girlfriend and fiancee that year.

I also had to sell almost everything I owned to move, which but I kept the things that matter close.

2017

The move happened in January, we got posted (when a military person get's reassigned to a new base) to Manitoba (waaaaaaaay west from New Brunswick)

That was a hot mess, I had to live with random roommates until we could find an apartment which we finally did in May.

We were married on our anniversary in June of that year.

It was a long road but 2017 was easier than most years dispite everything.

2018-2019

These two rolled together due to mulitple deployments, I barly saw my other half for both those years.

We did however move into a house in October 2019 and love our cute little military house.

2020

Welcome to Covid2020, where I've spent more time writing than I have in years!

I've had time to come back to my roots (this is one) and really fall back in love with writing.

I must add I have two dogs now (a sheltie and pom named Leo and Yogi) two cats (our girls Shadow and Mia)

A few days ago we lost our funniest cat Max in surgery which has taught me NEVER let your animals play with strings EVER.

And now we're current again :)
