hiii loves 💌 this is my first EVER blog post and i'll be participating in the 8 facts about me challenge !!! a great opportunity for the AFF community to know me a little better 🥰

1.  let's start with the basics,,, i go by the name sal which is short for a name i don't feel comfortable disclosing only because i prefer to be called this by my closest friends and mutuals online. it just feels a lot more personal to me :') plus my parents spelt my ACTUAL name wrong 🤡 i was born/brought up in the united kingdom and i'll be turning 21 towards the end of this month !!! hehe, 99' baby~ 

2. if you haven't already guessed, my ultimate group is EXO. i started stanning them during the hiatus between for life and the war (2017) after seeing the ost for stay with me that features chanyeol i instantly fell in love 🙈 this continued when i watched my first ever exo mv, lotto and junmyeon stole my heart - so i have two ultimate biases ! 💓

3. i'm currently studying occupational therapy at university level. what is occupational therapy (OT)? occupational therapy is the use of assessment and intervention to develop, recover, or maintain the meaningful activities, or occupations, of individuals, groups, or communities. my end goal is to become a play therapist for oncology paediatric patients. one day... *fingers crossed*

4. my personality type is ENFP ! this comes across as a surprise seeing as though i have social anxiety but according to people i'm very good at hiding it (?) espiecally in a work place, it's more visible in social environments where personal interactions are necessary. because of this, i often suffer from social exhaustion leading me to prefer spending time alone often even though i'm pretty adventurous and outgoing.

5. i have a part-time job as a customer assistant at a retail store ☠ it's not so bad, i guess (?) university is expensive and to live a decent and comfortable life one must work work work their asses off, right? 

6. just like jongin, the second half of my family nickname translates to bear (sallu ballu) sometimes i get called allu (potato) too >:( tbh, they ain't wrong lmaooo for some reason i've never talked about this, not even with my EXO-L moots but im pretty sure they've noticed my small obsession with bears too >.<

7. i'm the youngest out of my siblings & my friend group. people assume i'm one of the oldest or a middle child because of my personality traits (i'm often described as a a mix of pcy and kjm because im soft yet firm) but my face really says i'm babie so that's okeh <:( 

8. ever since i can remember, my long-time dream has been to direct and screen-write movies. due to circumstances and priorities in my life that are out of my control, it's something i found pushing away until i found a site called AFF. a place where i'm able to transfer all my ideas (even though im not the best writer, i have faith in my story ideas and concepts). i'm truly passionate about the stories i'm writing on here i can't even explain how much it means to me in simple words...

this was indeed very fun and i hope to do more tags like these in the future - it gives a break from the constant fictional writing and allows for one to acknowledge what's happening in your real life for a brief moment.
