☄️ growing up as the oldest of two children, raum embodies her title as the firstborn. she always obeyed the rules and the expections set to her as that's always what firstborn children do. like any other firstborn, she carries a dependable aura in the eyes of her parents and can be held as an example for her younger brother. notorious for inheriting her mother's stubborness, she often fought with her brother over what she truly wants before reluctanctly yielding to him. the son household acknowledges that things are more lively with her around as the source of noise.

☄️ as she developed as her own person, raum has always wondered what her calling is, what her purpose in life should be. she's always looked for answers to her question, what possibly could be the perfect job for me? considering her personality, she'd be content with her life doing just one thing or sticking to one employer her whole life. she'd always tried her best at school, though it has been a process full of trial and error so she had good enough grades. her parents were ones who always advised her to pursue her passion, just as they did and didn't want her to take up a field she wasn't confident or comfortable with. even so, she didn't want to disappoint them. she didn't want to tell them, she doesn't know what she wants to do for a living.

☄️ she hates it when she's put into unconventional situations so when a man claiming to be a scouting manager for cygnus entertainment went up to talk to her when she was shopping with her best friend minseo on the apgujeong rodeo street, she quickly put on a mode of defense. the scouting manager didn't want to pick a fight with her so they gave her the business card and telling her to think about joining the agency if she didn't have any other plans.

☄️ though she wasn't too sure of the accountability of this opportunity, it was better than being stuck in confusion over her college major decisions and career path. she's lived her life strongly sticking to tradition and security but this was the only time she strained from it. maybe deep down, she chose this to take a break from rules, structures, and order. with her direction in life uncertain, she jumped on the opportunity without knowing the end of it. though uncomfortable with the unconventional situation, she wants to see things to the end and has too much of an ego and pride to quit halfway. her only wish is to finally be able to decide what she wants in life.

☄️ as of 2018, is a high school graduate who ended up not taking the korean csat test. no matter what, she'll take the text next year.

haru doesn't send much affection as her younger brother. whenever they see each other, they'd only shake their heads and send off sarcastic comments at each other. as the youngest child in the house, haru doesn't have much skills as his sister so the only time he'd come up to her is when he'd beg her to do things for him like printing his school tasks, proofreading his essays or clippings, help him make a presentation and several household chores. they'll get along better as years pass, but for now, they're constantly mocking and pissing each other off until haru comes to ask her to do simple things for him. only then, does he put on an aegyo relay for her before she kicks him away. when he found out her sister is about to debut, he made a list of sarcasm and mockery to throw at his sister. he just couldn't believe it since for haru, his sister is an oompa loompa.

the girl she got stuck with since middle school, minseo has become her reliable support system. she's the friend raum goes to in any mood, when she's sad, mad, happy or tired. they're two friends who confide in each other and give advice on their thoughts. minseo is more softer than raum, which makes her different than raum. when minseo can't fit in well, raum has already memorized everyone's names. it's raum that draws minseo into the noise and minseo is the one who anchors her down a bit so it wasn't surprising when minseo found out about raum's debut since minseo could never imagine herself as an idol. it suits raum better. she learns a lot from raum and raum is always ready to protect her friend from the bad.

the first keyword that raum got hooked on from jinxuan's self introduction was "bachelor degree in economics and management". this alone caused raum to pick jinxuan as her role model. she has yet to get the chance to pursue her bachelor's degree and this fact in jinxuan makes her envious deep down. what makes raum more affectionate of her "xuan jie" would be the fact that jinxuan isn't confrontational at all and rather finds amusement in raum's unintentional banters with other members. xuan never thought she could find someone who would out-ace her in roasting others and always finds her clapbacks against raum weak. raum's that witty. xuan always verbally thanks raum's presence as she lights up the room and praises her courageous and refreshing character for being unique. although, this doesn't stop xuan from secretly worrying about raum as her directness and occasional banter with the others might lead her to say several wrong things. xuan fears that raum will receive hate and get hurt inside because of it. xuan is always prepared to shower raum with her warmth as the younger girl is more than what she shows.

the youngest child of a coveted classical family, yikyung clashes often with raum but the moment raum brings on the brutal truth, yikyung's sensitivity reacts and she gets deeply hurt inside. yet, as if it's unavoidable for a bee to fly to a flower in spring, that honesty of raum's helps yikyung in several ways. raum helps set yikyung straight whenever yikyung starts to become overwhelmed by being a pessimistic or perfectionist. raum could easily snap yikyung out of it with a short "quit worrying about bull, you've done enough". due to her personality, yikyung doesn't express her feelings or thoughts about how hurt she can be thanks to raum's honesty and believes that raum can be more tactful with her words and should find a way to deliver them with less brutality. possibly due to pride, as she doesn't want to engage in a fight she may lose. despite their clashes, they both agree that they are both full of determination and the type of people who sees things through to completion so they have moments where they help each other in areas they may lack. raum always has to take care of her members who are awkward during variety show filming and with yikyung's permission, raum will always try to get her to loosen up, seeing as the younger girl is in charge of such things.

having not experienced the painstaking process of long time training yulyeon had, the older girl holds a lot of resentment for trainees like raum. the younger girl knows of yulyeon's pain, having been given the intro to all the trainees upon arriving at the trainee practice rooms. so, when yulyeon takes out her inner grudge and stacked emotions on her, raum being who she is pushes back. any bystander of their scenes would know that this isn't some banter, this could actually escalate into a legit cat fight. raum's brutal truth always hits yulyeon right in her pride, right in the heart of her arrogant superiority with words like "don't you think your seven year old grudge should be let go by now? you debuted already! forgive and forget!", "maybe for once, you should sit down in front of the mirror and talk yourself out of your venom", and "there's a ing good solution to wounds and it's called closure which you probably need since you always take it out on those you envy". it may be yulyeon's ego telling her not to do exactly what raum says even if what she says is the right thing to do. if they hadn't start on the wrong foot, perhaps in another world, they could've easily got along as two civil individuals as they both share the same sense of dedication to the path they have chosen.

TRAINING TIME a week at cygnus ent.

TRAINEE LIFE 
unexpectedly swept into being a trainee and then suddenly debuting, there's not much for raum to say about her trainee life. she was only starting to get used to the classes and environment when she was told about her debut. she wasn't doing bad, it was just the totally new and unexpected turn of events took her by surprise. at the time, she was a fast learner in dance lessons, taking note that she's never danced in her life. she found singing lessons easier. she'd stay behind at the practice room and put in more hours when everyone already left. the other trainees around her did help her lean the ropes and didn't see her as much of a competitor for the debut lineup. they did give her high praises for her humour. she always seemed to live up the mood and was able to ensue laughter in the room. perhaps cygnus ent. saw her star quality and potential to be an it-girl. her daily improvements and determination surprised trainers and fellow trainees alike, but it was just the aura she had that screamed she has the charms others don't.    

SCANDALS
 idyll's raum only debuted because of her variety skills? 
a very questionable topic, indeed. the netizens will have fun digging through her after finding out she only trained for a week. but her profile shows that she's labelled as a vocal position. many expected her to have extremely high quality skills that checked her out as a high quality idol. they didn't. but it was after finding success in exposing and promoting herself through variety shows or talk shows, netizens came to the conclusion that cygnus ent. saw that she has a knack for entertainment and see potential in pushing her into variety shows and only debuted her because of that so she can promote the group and herself to the public and gain new fans easier that way. (think of momoland's jooe or lovelyz's mijoo).

hi would you like to collab with me? i think her and yulyeon could have a very interesting dynamic, especially since yulyeon is a very traditional trainee who would probably be a little miffed that someone like raum gets to debut without going through everything a normal trainee goes through
