Austin is the definition life of the party. He can easily make friends with just about anyone even  with the ahjummas in the food market. Austin can be lost in the market and you can find him in a social group circle talking to the ahjummas . He is sociable and has an aura about him that makes anyone feel comfortable to talk to him. This boy can make friends just about anyone. There no denying, the boy maybe a wild ball but he is charming. Austin is charismatic that anyone can't help but like him. Especially when he is on stage performing, he just spills out charisma when he is on stage that people can't help but keep an eye on him on stage and be memorized by his performance. Some may believe he might have few screw loose in his head on how quirky he is. Austin knows he weird but he claims that what charming about him.  He believes being normal is boring, so when someone comes to him calling him weird or unique. Even when worse happen to him, he takes the experience he had and turn it into a drive to push him further to what he want to achieve. Austin is passionate when he has his heart sent on something. Music and performing on stage has always been something Austin loves doing, of course he will pour every ounce of his blood, sweat and tears in order to achieve an idol. Austin may carry an image of a carefree free spirtied trouble maker in the group, but he works as  hard just as anyone maybe even harder cause he doing something he loves. Austin will be the member that stays up late in the studio or practice room, practicing his routine over and over again till he feel is right. Austin can be seen as an egotistical person and this part of him can rub others the wrong way. Austin all about self love and having confidence in one's ability. If someone asked him who he thinks is the best group, he will straight up admit his group Paradox is the best group, cause he has that much confidence in them. He may seem concieted and full of himself, but that shows how confident he has for his team and that how much he love and proud of his group. Austin has that much confience in him and his group abilities. This side can be shocking to others, but Austin is caring warm hearted individual. When he see someone in trouble, the boy will stop what he was doing and go to help the person. If he see a member in trouble with practice, he willing to stay behind and help them out. If a member hurt, he the first one to ask if they need help. The boy will carry   around town on his back if he has too, cause to him no man is left behind. Even for strangers, he doesn't mind helping out and doesn't expect anything in return. Another shocking factor he can be protective  towards his group, friends and family. He may seem like nothing  can ever provoke this boy, but once his loves ones are involve, all bets are off cause he goes protective mode and will stood up for anyone. Even if he gets in trouble, he will not let anyone hurt those who are dear to him.

This boy is full of wonders and he can make anyone go crazy on how unpreditable this boy can be! Austin can be fooling around in the practice room without a care in the world, before going full on beast mode when he practice his routine.For s, he could be chilling in the dorm minding his own business before out of nowhere blasting music and dances and sings around like their dorm is a night club. Austin is a sensitive human being and his mood can instantly go from 0 to 100 in an instant. He not the best when taking critisim as he feels like he back to the corner when the harsh words hits him. Besides that, he gets moved easily by others. If he feel touch by somone actions where it comes from the heart. This grown boy will tear up.from listening to a sad ballad performance to watching a  animal getting adopted to a forever home. He does his best to control his emotion, but sometimes he can't help himself.  Austin can be too much a free spirited child that sometimes he forgets he an idol. He can be seen irresponsible comepare to the other members and often will get scolded by his manager or his group members when he not being responsible, especially as an idol. When he is out in public, doing events, or in variety shows, there a times he forgets that he has a image he needs to keep up and that he can't do things that will embarrassed his group and himself later on. Austin is quirky and sometimes people just don't get him unlike s or others who know so when strangers experience the quirkiness . They are often left with full of questions if Austin even human sometimes cause the boy is full of wonders. Austin really keeps his managers on their toes with him. Austin a bit of a scattered brain and loses focus if something is not within his interest. His mind is always all over the place, so it no surprise he seems to be forgetful. He always have constant reminders he set on his phone  to remind himself in case he forgets. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California since June 18, 1999. Austin is the third child/ baby of the family. He was born into a lower-middle-class family with his two older brothers.  His parents own a beauty supplies store that brings in enough income to just make ends meet for the family. His parents were strict in wanting their children to do well in their education. Both having high hopes that their children will get into a good university and get a well-respected job in the future. They loved their children and only wanted the best for them and they’re willing to work their off to provide for their children's needs. Since he was young, Austin loves music. His mother would play Korean trout music around the house and the two of them would dance around. At the age of 4, his cousin Tiffany introduce him to kpop and showed her favorite artist Boa. She showed him other groups such as GOD, H.O. T, SES, and more. What seal the deal was Rain. Austin just loved how Rain performed, he can’t seem to take his eyes off him when he watches his performance with his cousin. Tiffany often visited their home, despite their huge those two were close as Tiffany often babysits little Austin and showed him a bunch of kpop. They would put on little performance for the family.
When he was 5 years old, Austin encourages Tiffany to audition for SM Entertainment. He knew better than anyone else how talented his cousin was and when he saw her got accepted into the company. He was the happiest person for her.  After three weeks of getting into the company, he was a bit sad when she left but he was the happiest for her. However, before they said their goodbyes in the airport Austin announce to Tiffany and his whole family that he be an idol too. Of course, his family laughed it off thinking it was just a phase but Tiffany seem to be the only one who supported him.  She told him, she can’t wait to see the next Rain.
 
 Austin had always been the odd child in the family, he was always been quirky since he was young.  He was not like his brothers, his academic grades were considered average, but he excels in performing arts. Austin still holds hopes for him that Austin will turn a new leaf and be like his brothers who already in top universities. One is at Harvard while his 2nd elder brother is a top student in his year. His parents continue to be on him, pushing his education on him telling him to focus on studying as this will give him a career. Austin being a trouble maker that he is doesn’t study when his parents told him. He is fooling around on his game boy, writing lyrics in his journal, or he somehow sneaks out and visits the neighborhood kids. Hip Hop was popular around his area and kids around his neighborhood like to hold dance-off or rap off. He witnesses it when one of his friends showed him what been popular lately with other kids and took him to one of the battles. Austin was in awe and within the next battle, he quickly thought himself how to rap. His first battle he did pretty well, impressing others around him. For a newbie he a sense of flow. It’s a bit of a mistake, but for a newbie. Austin was good and that when he discovered his love for his new passion. 
 
 Austin never forgot his promise he made with his cousin. He was still close with her, when she was free the two of them would skype and Austin would show off the lyrics she wrote.  He was proud of how he self-taught himself. When he was 16 years old, Austin found out that SM Entertainment was holding an audition for potential trainees. Of course, the day of the audition is the same day for his SAT testing that his parents been nagging him to study and do well in. Austin knew his parents would disagree with him if he told him that he has no plan taking the test. It was a long shot but he planned to skip the testing and head for the audition. All he had to do what pass and Austin knows he had what it takes. This dream of wanting to be an idol, has been something he been wanting to be since he was young, and no way in hell he giving that up. On the day of the test, his parents dropped him off, and once they were gone. He quickly took a bus and head towards where the audition being held. When he got to the audition, he has never been so nervous in his life. Austin performed his self composed song for the audition. Those who judge him saw the great potential this boy could have as one of their artists and told him he passed and that be going to South Korea with them as a trainee.
 
 Austin’s news of getting accepted in SM Entertainment shocked his whole family and earn him a scolding for skipping out on his SAT, lying to his parents, and going to the audition alone. However, there was no use of changing his mind. Austin was a lost cause now since he got what he wanted and he was going to do what he wants to do. With heavy hearts, his parents accepted his wishes and approved him to go to Seoul. Tiffany was happy for Austin, but she too yelled at him for doing such irresponsible action that could have ended badly. Austin didn’t care as he was too happy that he got accepted into the same company as his cousin. Within 4 weeks, Austin packed his belonging and head towards  Seoul, South Korea ready to shake up the kpop scene.

— 2015-2016// Joined  SM Entertianment and started his  training as a trainee under the company. It was an adjustment to Austin,  he was far from home and a whole new culture that what he was use too.. It ook some time for him to adjust this new chapter in life. Tiffany was there to support and help any way she could. He became known as Tiffany's cousin and there were some trainee who were jealous of him, thinking he was accepted because  his cousin is the member of nation best girl group. Of course, that offended Austin cause he enter with his talent as a rapper and he was seen to have potential to be an idol. Austin worked hard, he had lot of catch up to do since he was far behind other trainee who had years of experience for him. His only experience was rap battles he had in his neighborhood. However, he was no quieter and train hard to catch up. He was lucky enough to friend few trainee who helped him such as Mark who helped him with dancing. Lucky for Austin he a fast learner and was was progressing well in dancing. He train in singing as well, but it was clear he was not a vocalist like the other talented vocal trainee. Rap, though is where Austin shined as a trainee greatly impressing trainee and trainers of his skills. In a matter of months, Austin was introduced as a SM Rookie in the fall of 2015. Austin was loved by fans for his quirky and refreshing personality when he appeared on the station. Austin heard rumors going on about  SLJK program from other trainee. Hearing that selected trainee were being selected to join and to be aware of " Madame Kang"  , a lady that a force to be reckoned with. However, Austin didn't have time to think of that program when his attention went when he was selcected into the NCT line up. He was selcted as a member for the NCT U, the first sub unit to debut.  However, his good friend replace him last minute. Austin didn't have hard feeling because the SM director inform instead that unit he be placed in NCT 127 that will debut few months after  NCT U. Austin train within the group. Leanring the choregraphy and even did some recording. However, his dream was short live again when he was replaced by Mark again.  Honestly, Austin felt offended that the staff is doubting his abilities cause he knows he just as good as Mark. He was more discourage even more despite another sub unit, NCT Dream debuting  he will not be part of it. Why? Cause he not fit the style cause Austin will look weird being place with the babies from sm rookies.  Austin tried to remain positive and worked his off until the next evalulation. It was his break, on the day of evalulation as Mandame Kang join the trainers and director to scout out new recruits for her program. Trainee around him were fired up cause if Mandame Kang scout you, it basically means you have  talent as she is scouting for the best of the best . This was his chance, so when he was up and of course being  the unpredictable boy that he is. Personally told Mandame Kang to keep an eye on him when he produced  his self composed song that he created himself. Extra brownie points Austin claims that it be in his favor at the end. All of the trainee were good, but Mandame Kang kept a good eye on Austin for while actully. This was not the first time she withness his performace. Heechul inform her about his talent and portental as an idol . SInce he was new asa trainee with no experience she wanted to him for a bit on how he progress and adjust to the training.  And that day performance she was confident Austin would be a good selection for the SLJK program. Other trainer and SM staff of the NCT program fought to keep him in but Mandame Kang fought back saying they are wasting talent for not letting him debut now since it been 2 times he was denied the chance to debut.

—  Fall of 2016-2019// The very next day when Mandame Kang scouted him, he began his journey in the SLJK-B program. He burst through the door full of positivety that he able to finally debut, plus he was able to see a few friends he haven't seen in awhile. When he thought SM training was hard, SLJK program was in whole other level. Every day was going into a war zone of hell. You never know if you get cut and sent home each day. Training was torture and rigorous.The training really trained the mind and body. Austin watch countless of trainee getting cut out of the program. He also watch many couldn't take it anymore and given up. 

The program was extremly tough, not everyone could do it, but he knew this program was meant for the best of best and Austin had no plan of giving up. He worked hard every single day. He gave up everything for this program and it was hard when he had to give up his phone and social media during this process. He alwayed looked forward to friday cause he was able to talked to his family.  He shed a few tears as he missed them so much but he doing his best to no disappoint them. His family especially his parents were his strength to pushed forward during the program. 

He was one of the best rapper in the group and his dance skills greatly improved since he enter the company thanks to all the trainee ( Sam and Koji) who helped him during this training in the program.  When he was finally placed as final line up as a member of PARADOX. He had had to asked Mandame Kang if she serious and not pulling a fast one on him. When he realize his dream was happening, he started to cry when his dream was coming into reality. All his hard work was finally paying off.

—"  PARADOX's Ash vs. Sasaeng Fans" // True// Austin had always appreciated and loved PARADOX 's fan, but he doesn't like how toxic  some of the sasaeng fans be.  With the rise of the group populairty, so was the number of sasaeng fans. First it was tolerable, but when it come to the point where his team, the staff and himself safety in trouble. He can't take their selfish actions anymore. The biggest one when  they were at the airport, the group just landed to Japan for a concert event and fans were surrounding them. They were tired from  their schedule  cause the whole trip, some airport staff sold their ticket inofrmation to some sasaeng fans so all trip, the memebrs couldn't really rest due to the screaming , clicking of camera from them. As they were walking out terminal, it pissed off Austin when fans purposely hurt the members such as tripping them , or pushing them for to at least " remember them" even if in a negative light. Seeing how one of his memebr got hurt , he quickly calls out the sasaeng for hurting to the point where staff has to pull him away before he does something stupid.  Some netizen applaud him for calling them out while others admit this is the price of being famous and he was over reacting. 

— " PARADOX'S Ash appears half in front of vlive event hold with half the members"// TRUE// This scandal was completely be accident in Austin part. He completely forgot that some of s were having a vlive event with the fans.  He was taking a shower and usually he would walk out with just a towel hanging below his waist ( they were lucky he wasn't cause there are times he would walk out from a shower ). Austin was oblivious what what happening when he walked out and walked behind them casually wanting to get some water till one of the members turns around and saw a half Austin. Somone screamed and threw a pillow at him and first instincts for austin was to catch the damn pillow, almost causing a national crisis when his towel fell off. Lucky for him, members quickly covered him and moved the camera away from him. Fans were going wild  about the incident and in the background , you can hear managers and members scolding at Austin for being reckless.

Austin met Sam when he enter SM Rookie, the two of them seem it hit off since both of them were from the states. Austin was memorized by his dancing when he first encounter him him dance. Austin knew Sam was in a whole never level than him when it comes to rap. Sam was like the big brother to Austin even when they debuted in PARADOX. Austin come to him when he need help with a dance routine as he would claim " MASTER HELP ME!" . ...yes for some strange reason when it comes to dancing. Austin calls out  " Master" and that usually means Sam. Since SM Rookie, Austin had the desired to debut in the same group as Sam and he was excited when he got scouted into SLJK-B program. Because on the first day, Austin burst through the door screaming Sam name like bloody murder before hugging him like he hasn't seen him for years, even though they saw each other the other day when Sam congratulated him for being scouted to the program. Also, Sam is Austin work out body as they go to the same gym together.  Austin admires Sam body, he thought he had a good body until he saw Sam coming out with a six pack.

 

— Group Mater • Yamamoto Ryouta / 23 / Idol/ 10/10
 

These two are the duo when it comes to taking down sasaeng fans. There will be in a number of occasions the boys will express their dissatifaction of their action and asking fans to respect them and the members private lives.   Austin met Koji around the time he enter the company, but never got close to him due to his schedule being different to his. They only got close when Austin enter the SLJK-B program.  Austin wished he was good at dancing when he saw how good Koji dance and he the next person he goes to when asking for help for dance. Their friendship only grew because of how tough the program can be. When both of them discover their love for manga, they had a huge " Oh my god ! did you read this blah blah" moment. They exhange manga/webtoons that they read and fanboy about it later on how the feel about the series. If Austin found a good series, he right away shows to Koji so the two of them can talk about it later. When it ongoing, the two of them will impatiently wait together for the next update before screaming when the update happens. Austin slowly trying to get him into anime, even though Koji not the biggest fan. Hearing that Koji has two boyfriends, Austin felt like he was chop liver and wanted to join the party cause why not!  He was a bit jealous of boyfriend 1 and 2 and announce  that he is the offical boyfriend 3.

 

 

— Group Mates • PARADOX MEMBERS / varied / IDOL / 10 /10

Austin loves each and every one of the memembers because each one of them is like his family and holds a special place in his heart.  Austin gets sensitive when he talks about his love for the group cause the SLJK-B program was practically hell. They went to hell and came out as idols and he felt that experience brought them closer. All the members are victims to his teasing and pranks. 

— Friend/ Rival • Mark Lee / 21/ Idol  / 7/10

Mark is consider Austin friend but also his rival. Austin and Mark started off as friend when Austin enter the company, Mark helped him alot to adjust to his new enviroment and helped him during his first few months as a trainee.  The two of them would often good around, hang out in the studio writing lyrics and even going over their rap skills with each others.They started their friendly rivalary during their NCT line up, Austin was supposed to debut in NCT U before last minute switch and Mark took his spot. Austin was sad but happy for his friend and when he was part of NCT 127 he even learn the whole choregraphy and recorded his part. He felt his dream cracked a bit when he was replace again with Mark. It honestly strain their friendship  Mark felt guilty for him and Austin envied Mark, but he supported him no matter what. Austin was optimistic that his opportunity will come which it did when he was scouted to SLJK- B program. Austin told mark that the two of them will be rival once he debut and to prepare for him cause he will stealing the stage. Since then the two remain good friends, but due to Mark busy schedule it hard to meet up but nothing the less these two are friends with friendly rivalary.

— Brother from another mother • Wong Yuk-hei / 21 / Idol  / 100/10

These two practically share the same brain cell when they are together. Austin and Lucas are pratically like brothers the moment they met they felt like they found their long lost twin. They met a month after Lucas join.These two are chaotic together as they would goof off after practice, sneak out for a mid night snack. These two were practically inseperable and honestly are like dumb and dumber when they are in the same room together. Even when Austin join the program, the two were still close and met up when they could. Mostly stuffing their face in convience food and giving each other moral support as they talked about how rough it is for them. Austin hates that Lucas is now mostly in China, so the two of them message constantly and when  Lucas visit. The two of them would hang out all day and catch up.

— Mentor/ sunbae • Kim Heechul / 36 / IDOl /  8/10

Austin's cousin Tiffany was the one who introduced these two even though Austin know very well who Kim Heechul being a E.L.F himself. Austin fanboy a bit when he met Heechul, but the two seem to hit it off very well. Heechul took him in as a dongsaeng and  told him to come to him if he ever needed help.  Heechul honestly thinks he is the kim heechul 2.0 on how crazy and quirky this boy can be and he himself doesn't know if he can handle his crazy energy. Often speechless and screaming at Austin to calm down before he kills him. Heechul was the one who mention Austin to Madame Kang about his potential and to keep an eye out for him.

 

— Mentor/ Noona•  Kim Hyoyeon / 30 / IDOL / 7.5/10

Being Tiffany's cousin, treated him well since Tiffany claim him like a younger brother. She didn't give him special treatment but she kept an eye out for him when Tiffany out of the country to watch her cousin. Hyoyeon saw great potential in Austin and helped him out during dance routines. She honestly gave him extra tough love in case other trainee felt he got favoritism but she was glad Austin took her tough love and harsh criticism  well and use to better himself in training. Hyoyeon enjoyed his positive personality and sends occasion reports to his cousin.

— Director/  Boss Lady• Mandame Kang/ ??? /  Director /  7/10


Austin honestly afraid of Mandame Kang thinking of her as the devil who wore Prada. He acts the most behaved when she in the same room as him, he can instantly go from crazy boy to calm good boy. Mandame Kang know how quirky Austin can be, but she like his attitude and his charistma when it comes to performace. She saw great potential in him when Heechul mention about Austin and time to time, she did watched him since he was still new for a trainee. When it was one of the evaluation day, she personally joined to watch  Austin and few other trainee to see how much progress he did since the last time she saw him. She was greatly pleased by him and asked for his tranfer to her program even though SM staff fought to keep him since he was a potential to be in NCT and Mandame Kang claim it be a waste of talent and that she can perfect Austin in her program plus she argued they already passed him up 3 times with the NCT subunit debuts claiming it was a waste of talent being wasted . Mandame Kang was hard on when he train but then again she was hard everyone as saw great potential in all of them. 

 

— Manager•  dong mingyu / 27 / Taking care of the 13 members / 8/10

Austin is probably one of the reasons why Mingyu girlfriend scared to come over cause of all the stories  Mingyu told of him. Austin a handful for Mingyu as he so unpredictable at time that sometimes he questions if that boy even human when he does random . Out of all the manager, Austin closest to Mingyu. He calls him  " Mother Mingyu"  and loves to tease and joke around with him. Mingyu often nags for Austin to stop eating too much spicy food, but does Austin listen. No. Mingyu often have to make something to help his stomach so Austin stomach can feel better for the next day. Honestly, if mingyu has to choose who the handful. Austin is number one. It not like he hates him, but he feels Austin is like his own child he has to take care off. Austin even told his own mother not to worry since he got Mother mingyu to take care of him. Austin's mother sends extra gift to Mingyu such as tasty treats from the states to mingyu for dealing with her son. 

 

— Manager•  Eric Cho / 28 / Taking care of the 13 members / 7/10

Eric reminds Austin of his eldest brother Andrew with his stonic dry sense of humor personality. Austin quite a handful for Eric as Austin seems to like to pull on Eric leg with his  mischivious personality. Austin personally make it a mission to make this serious guy at least once a day, which earn Eric scolding at him to stop being annoying. If Austin able to crack a laugh out of him, Austin feels like he accomplish something day. He loves when Eric is drinking cause he like a new guy. Austin took few pictures of drunk Eric to use ine case of anything. 

— Manager•  Danny Kim / 27/ Taking care of the 13 members / 8/10

Danny is the second manger he is closest too after Mingyu. Danny and Austin often goes to the gym together. Austin thanks Danny for helping him gain his muscle. During promotion, Danny the one who help Austin eat clean while in promotoin. However, Austin has to sneak around in order to sneak in tasty treats on days he suppose to be " healthy" .

" Nothing, I believe we already perfect the way we are now" he grins confidently, leaning back on his chair proud of his answer that he gave cause he truly believe the team was perfect

what are you confident in? what do you lack?

" My rapping and confidence! I believe if you want to pursue anything. You need to confidence in yourself in order to succedd because bad vibes will set you up to fail." he nods proudly, folding his arms to his chest proud of his answer before realizing he has another question he needs to answer" Oh yeah...hmm my team told me I lack the ability of being normal." he laughs loudly " I guess I'm a lost cause on that one."

which seniors do you look up to? why?

"Super Junior, Big Bang, Girl Generation, Rain...I would say they were the one I really looked up to. I want my group to be legends just like them and make history in Kpop. Also, I want us to last together forever, but I don't think I have to worry. Heechul hyung thought me to take pictures of them and black mail anyone who tries to leaves...sooooo we're safe!" he tries to hold in his laughter as he saw everyone reaction to his answer and all he could smile innocently as he waits for the next question.

where do you see yourself in ten years?

" Hmmmm, maybe dead if my manager team up with the members to get ride of me becuase they finally got annoyed with me." he chuckles , with the mangers about to pull their hair off their head from his answers and the interviewer confused what they just heard " Buttt!!!" he quickly followed up " I think by then Paradox will be on top and legends!....ah and I might own a puppy! solo projects / songs

— Yamazaki //  Austin first solo release since he debuted . He got inspired from all the manga and anime that he had watched over the years. It was a bit controversial due to it rated graphic, but it recieved lot of praise at the end

— Born Hater // Co produce with members from the rap team. A rap team  song that they produce dedicated to their haters.

—Fiance// 2nd solo release, he wrote and produce the song. The song did really well in the charts and was trending for a while.

—Doom Dada // 3rd release- he wrote and produce him the songs. Everyone thought it was weird but fans admit it basiclaly descibe Austin quirky personality and weirdness.
