Girl Power!

I always had the notion that I should only write starring male protagonists because I felt that males turned out more believable for me. But I always wanted to write a story that centered around a girl, one I hoped could embody strength, courage- virtue without having to employ Macho characteristics, but one that was also prone to the vices common in all humanity.

I hope I can create an honest character like that and whether that hope be dashed or not, I chose to write a story with a lass at the helm. It's all because of Tigress too, who has hosted various other contests too (I won third place in a separate contest that concluded earlier this year).

She is very kind and I look up to her. I especially love the 10th rule: No bashing anyone: other competitors, the judge, or yourself.

How many times are we are out harshest critic?

In short, my heart goes out to her and I am submitting my latest (probably last in a long while) story, Death of a Princess into her Girl Power Writing Contest.

God bless y'all, whoever may chance to read this, and take care.
