— It's pretty hard not to notice Bitna considering how she towers over most people. Not only is she 'ridiculously' tall, her looks are enough to make people look twice. With her big eyes and long eyelashes, she takes pride in the beauty of her eyes. A jawline that could cut you just by looking at it and perfectly shaped lips, its no wonder why she has a lot of fans. Bitna has a very slim body type due to her her height and her strict diet routine. Her hair is always kept long and she dyes it to certain shades of brown or blonde.

Bitna is very much devoted to the things she knows matters most in her life - her family, her friends and the goals she wants to achieve in life. She works hard to ensure that that the things that she cherishes are protected and cared for. Other than that, Bitna is tactical. She does very careful planning in her everyday life, making sure that everything is in check and making sure her schedule is perfect to make sure not a single minute is wasted. However, as plans have the tendency to not work out sometimes, Bitna has developed another title and that is being a resourceful problem-solver. Whether it's accidents that happen on stage or off, she always finds a way to get things fixed and set up on the right track again. Perhaps it's due to her being tall but she's shown to be really protective towards the people that she cares about. She uses her height to her advantage to keep the younger shorter members from surrounding fans or whenever they're walking side by side. She's fast to defend those she cares about, wanting to keep them out of harm's way. Bitna has also grown to be very confident in herself - whether is be her looks, brains or skills, it's hard to waver down the self-confidence that she has.

However, Bitna has flaws as well. One of them is that she's highly manipulative. Thanks to her brains and the confidence she has in her looks, Bitna knows just how to make someone lean over to her side of things. She knows how to twist things to make it seem that she's the innocent one or make people brush off their suspicions on her. In addition, Bitna nags a lot, like a lot, especially when something falls out from her standards. When she nags, she nags like there's no tomorrow and it could lead up to half an hour. Around people that she's not very close to, Bitna can come off as quiet to the point even fans have pointed out how she's not as loud as her other members. It's not that she's shy or anything but rather, Bitna prefers to just watch and laugh. She'll put in her two cents if she thinks she should.  Last but not least., Bitna tends to be referred to as harsh or blunt when she's talking if she's not being careful. She doesn't seem to realise how her words can affect others which is the first thing her members would point out if she crosses the line. She dislikes sugarcoating words and deems that the truth should be laid out flatly which has been the cause of some fights.

Chung Bitna was born in Incheon and was the youngest and only daughter in the Chung family. However, she spent most of her childhood in Canada as her family moved abroad when she was barely one years old.

In Canada, Bitna lived as Lucie Chung. She grew up feeling loved and admired by many people. She had plenty of friends that wanted to hangout with her every day, people that wanted to befriend her - it was a good life.

Near towards her teenage years, Bitna was casted into an advertising company and started her career as a child model. It was there did she found her love for being in front of the camera. Modelling became her love. Not only that, her popularity skyrocketed and entering middle school, she was the girl that all the girls wanted to be and the girl that everyone wanted to date. Bitna thought this was her peak - she was the girl everyone was jealous of. 

However, things came crashing down once she found out most of her friends hated her. A message that she wasn't supposed to read and a group chat she wasn't meant to find - it was the crumbling start of her 'perfect' life. Finding out most of her friends were actually her antis and that they only befriended her for her popularity was what broke her. They were all liars.  Liars that were out to use her and aimed to humiliate her - wanting to bring her down from her so-called 'high horse'. The result was Bitna wrecking the school with spray paint - writing the words 'SHE'S JUST PRETTY' in red paint and releasing thousands of flyers of the chats in the group chat. She was kicked out of the school and the company dropped her after finding out about the news. 

For the best of her situation, her parents had her move in with her brother who was studying in Seoul, South Korea. Although she enrolled into a new school, she barely went to the classes. She would skip them and head over to the noraebang, doing nothing but sing her sorrows away. Her life in front of the camera was over and she doubted she would have another chance again - she had thrown that future out the window. 

Perhaps life had given her another chance when a woman walked up to her all of a sudden after one of her usual day of singing at the noraebang. A business card and a promise of making her into a star was what caught Bitna's interest. A new plan hatched into her mind - 

She was going to become an idol, she was going to show everyone that she wasn't just about looks and nothing - absolutely nothing - would get in her way. She was going to shine so brightly that you couldn't look away from her no matter how hard you tried.

Beginning her training at SM was no easy beginning since Bitna had zero training before she suddenly decided to try her luck. She had to start from scratch with the sudden vocal lessons, dance practices and a busy schedule that she had to dedicate most of her time and energy into.

The first and main thing that fueled her into her gruelsome hours of practice and harsh training was the visualization of how shocked her 'so-called friends' would be if they saw her on the big screen, proving them wrong about her. However, as time passed by Bitna soon began to develop a liking to the singing and dancing and her dreams began to change - she wanted to be on that stage not just to prove them wrong, but for herself. She wanted to perform and feel the adreline rush from the cheers of supporting fans. She worked hard to appeal to the company and was excited to find out she was part of the lineup for TCG.

— "Hi, I'm Chung Bitna," Bitna bowed her head slightly, a tiny smile on her lips.

how do you feel about debuting?

— "Excited, of course," she tucks a strand of her hair behind her ear, "Debuting is always nerve-wrecking for anyone but I'm more excited than nervous to be honest."

what do you want to achieve with tcg?

— There's a slight pause as she thinks her answer through. "I'd like our group to be known for the multiple sides of us we have to offer. We're unlike other groups so I'd be great if we could get recognition for that."

Do you have any personal goals as well?

— Again, Bitna hesitates to answer. "...I want to be able to stand on stage proudly with my group members and perform to our hearts content."

what do you think about the group's concept?

— "I personally believe it's a great concept," she nods her head,"Interesting to say the least. It's original, different and new. Something not quite seen before so it's thrilling to see what we all have in store."

how are you going to survive living with a bunch of other girls?

— Bitna sighs, running a hand through her hair. "Challenging definitely," she folds her arms, "Fights and arguments are bound to happen when different people live together but I do hope in the end, we'll all find a middle ground."

what do you think about nct? do you get along with your counterpart?

— "NCT are amazing! Talented and good hearted people," she answers. "Ah, Jaehyun? We get along just fine, we're very close to be exact. He's like a brother to me and we look out for each other."

you're really pretty. is there a secret to your beauty?

— "Good genes. Good products. Good facial routine."

PeRSONaLITY.

— Yongguk? He's such a friendly and soft-hearted person despite how he appears on the outside. He greets his fans whenever he sees them with a big smile on his face and genuinely asks how they're doing, making sure they're alright. He listens to your problems and rants even if he can do nothing else but lend an ear for you. However, as beautiful as he seems, Yongguk is very much reserved about his own problems and bottles up his emotions a lot.

first meeting. 

— Bitna first met Yongguk when she was out getting coffee at 2 o'clock in the morning after a hectic schedule. They mixed up their orders and switched with each other again. If you asked Bitna, it would hands down be love at first sight for her. He was cute and Bitna's not the type to beat around the bush for long. So, she continues going to the same coffee shop at the same time in hopes she'll run into him again - which she does.
(met each other probably a couple months after Bitna debuts under TCG)

— When she finally runs into him again, Bitna's the first one to strike up a conversation by bringing up the old, "Hey, you're that dude who's drink got mixed up with mine."

Yongguk is hesitant at first since he think she's a fan of his until he recognizes her face from music shows and tabloids on SM's new girl group. He mentions her group and how he was a fan of her vocals and introduces himself.

At first, they start out as regular friends with the daily texting and inside jokes but as they start hanging out around each other more whenever their schedule allows it, they naturally become dependant on one another. They hangout at his studio where Yongguk makes music that brings out Bitna's raspy vocals that don't get enough shine. She's there to talk, listen and hold him whenever he needs it and comforts him through hard times.

Dating is a difficult topic to be brought because Yongguk worries on how it'll effect Bitna's career and her group while Bitna doesn't know when's the perfect time to ask him out. They're both perfectionist who care about each other more than themselves so it's difficult to find the right timing. So, they'll stay as friends but keep wanting just a little more than that.
