♦ this so-called friendship between the two is actually well treasured by phillip. he was largely moved by the long paragraph valencia wrote for him on his birthday. the paragraph addressed her sincere thoughts and hopes for him. it made him feel bad about the simple three sentences birthday wishes he wrote for her birthday five days before. the group celebrated their birthdays on the same day. a lot of drinks were involved when phillip stood up and delivered the most personal and emotional speech directed for her. of course, everyone else was recording it. the two of them cried really ugly and it was probably since that day, phillip started to lower his guard and allow valencia get to know him... as part of their cherished friendship, of course.
