— park seoyun stands tall at five feet and six and a half inches with a slender build. she takes good care of her appearance, and her dusty-rose tinted blonde hair always falls down neatly to her waist. she has two ear lobe piercings on each side of her ears and always has to have at least her eyebrows lightly filled in and a little bit of lip tint on. she literally will refuse to go outside without looking presentable.

don't you want to pay attention to me? there’s something about that playful grin and a lit up look in her eyes that seem draw others in. She isn’t shy and has no trouble approaching people. Her charm makes it easy for her to connect with others, she’s pretty genuine. she could get along well with almost anyone, and tries to keep an optimistic mindset. She always wants in on the action. She always has something to say, something to react to, a funny story to tell. it's like a lightbulb is going off in her head every ten minutes. her head is always teeming with ideas and thoughts that she just has to share. she's definitely a do before you think person. often, she's really energetic and can't seem to sit still for long. even when she's not particularly talking about a common subject, the things she says are just so interesting. she has an opinion about everything  and has energy to no end. She loves teasing others with lighthearted playfulness and is a little more clingy and touch than the average human. there are times that she could unintentionally come off as flirty due to her nature.

it adds to my appeal doesn't it that quiet girl in the corner? couldn’t be seoyun. she isn't the best at being organized and is usually all over the place. one to be easily humored and amused. it's not hard to capture her attention, or please her. you could pick out her contagious loud laugh anywhere. Her tendency to be dramatic is well known. If she’s feeling some type of way, it would be no secret. she's very expressive with her actions. she's laughing as she's eating and drops her food? , it's the end of the world. she loves making use of hand gestures to articulate what she's saying. she's often known to exaggerate her words and actions. she's pretty shameless and doesn't get embarrassed easily or even notice if she's being excessive (that doesn't mean her friends might not get embarrassed for her). 

bruh i'm your ride or die she seems to be so outgoing and friendly, you would say she has a ton of friends right? wrong. yes, she's acquainted with a lot of people, but there is only a small circle of those that she considers her true friends. for them, her heart has no limit and she truly is loyal to them. her happiness is strongly dependent off of theirs, she can't stand if it they aren't and takes matters into her own hands. she would drop anything to help someone she cares about in need. she loves giving and receiving affection. she's blindly loyal and will defend her friends until the very end, even if they might be wrong. she's overly protective and hates it the most when they get hurt, which can lead to her acting out in their defense whether they ask for it or not.she loves being the shoulder to lean on, and loves having heart to hearts the most. 

seo 사장님 SEOYUN USUALLY LOVES PEOPLE, but her mood can swing easily. there's a small percentage of people that judge and challenge her, something she can't stand. she has slight competitive side that makes her always feel compelled to have the upper hand. she's all about standing up for her own beliefs. you really have to be annoying or just absolutely wrong to get to her, and hurting or offending someone she cares about is even worse. her blind loyalty towards her loved ones causes her to automatically dislike anyone that they do, but even more. you absolutely cannot cross someone she cares about or her values and you can say goodbye to the lovable seoyun you knew. her determination crosses the line into stubbornness and she is not afraid to put someone in their place, an eye for an eye no matter how long it'll take or what she has to do, she has to get her way. as someone who likes to consider herself a people person, she also knows what to say and do to hurt and offend others as well. she tends to easily let her emotions get the best of her and has been known to go too far due to her impulsiveness. even so, she doesn't seem to feel remorse or shame when it comes to getting even or defending her friends, hence her friends giving her this alter ego nickname. 

even the most outgoing people need a break sometimes seoyun is the type to act as if nothing is wrong even if something was wrong. she's protective of her deepest feelings in order to not bring down the mood of others. although she typically seems positive and light hearted, there's always so much going on in her mind, including some negative things. she buries her tendency to overanalyze situations and information too much and overthinks and worries because of it. as much as she doesn't want to, she does care about how people view her and don't want them to view her as something other than they do now. overhearing if people think she's too much or anything attacking her character (even if it's not that harsh and is more of constructive criticisim) she doesn't take it well. she's extremely nostalgic and heavily dwells on past happenings. she replays situations in her head and this is when she ever feels embarassment or shame. she doesn't like to worry others and chooses to face her own issues on her own. even she needs a break every now and then. she tends to disappear every now and then to take time to herself and just think and her friends no better than to question it.

BACKGROUND : 

park seoyun was born the eldest daughter to park seungyun and lee seomi in los angeles, california. her parents had gotten married in south korea and had moved to america to seek more educational opportunities for their daughter. as she was growing up, her parents didn't want her to lose touch with her korean culture and enrolled her in korean school. at home, they only spoke korean so that she wouldn't forget the language. outside of the house, she lived her life and spoke in english. as she grew up, it didn't take too long to realize that school and seoyun just weren't compatible. she was always not interested in the material, goofing off, confused, really anything but into it. her parents' expectations for her slowly decreased over the years. and she somewhat distanced herself from her parents as they didn't seem to believe in her at all. she preferred constantly being out instead. 

in her second to last year of junior high, her younger brother seungjae was born. seoyun, who had been distancing herself from her family, began to find a reason to love being home. she adored her brother immensely and took great responsibility and pride in helping to raise him as well. two years after her brother's birth, though, the park family  received the news that her grandfather on her dad's side had passed away. they decided to move back to south korea and live with her grandmother. they didn't want her to be living alone and decided it would be for the best, her grandmother could help out with her brother as well. and so the park family moved to seoul.

seoyun's study habits never changed and she continued to be not that great in school. she had so many ideas, but she never was able to follow through or stick with just one. college? not one of her biggest concerns. she didn't really feel as if she had any major goals in life just yet. maybe she should just be famous and be loved by people. "i'm pretty enough, right?" when rani asked for her friends' help at her famiily's restaurant, she was all in for helping her friend and her favorite korean bbq place.

park seungjae is a five year old mini park seoyun in the making. his big sis is defnitely his favorite person in the world. a little hyper ball of energy that just can't stop talking or running around. he gets talks to others easily and especially around his sister won't keep his mouth shut. he loves attention and being a kid, he literally will do anything if attention is drawn off of him. a energetic little boy with a kind heart, he just doesn't know better just yet.  the freespirited troublemaker is always up to something and left alone will definitely somehow find a way to make a mess or cause trouble, acting like a perfect angel who doesn't know what's going on when he's caught. she takes a lot of responsibility in watching her brother. seoyun treasures her lil bro with all her heart, and never fails to match his energy and can never resist the urge to spoil him. she can't help but laugh when he causes trouble. she never has to be too strict or stern to get her brother to listen to her. seungjae is definitely an observant kid that loves his sister, at the sight of her he comes running or asks her curious questions about her life, and never fails to cuddle up to her if his sister looks like she needs a hug.

freshman year, the weekend before school was designated to start,  seoyun was on a date with her brother and stumbled upon pureuda bbq. she decided for the two to eat there, the park sibs adored meat. she was conversating with her brother in english as they were waiting to be helped. as a server approached them, it turned out rani was the one who was going to help them. as she approached the trio, she froze as she heard them speaking english. goddamnit, they looked korean, but what if they only knew english? "uh... hi. h-how may i help you?" she said in very accented english. seoyun looked at her in amusement, and it was then that seungjae, in korean, looked up at his sister and said in  perfect korean, "noona, what is she saying?"and seoyun burst into laughter. rani was shocked for a bit before joining in as well before showing them to their table and helping them out. the two seemed to get along quite well and talked a lot in between servings, and seoyun especially liked how rani was attentive towards seungjae as well. on her first day at her new school, she was surprised but elated to see rani sitting in one of the desks in her class. and well, the rest is history. seoyun's first real friend that she made in south korea and the one that introduced her to the rest of her main friend group (insert others as her main friend group as well). she and rani turned out to actually be quite similar in terms of personality and got along well. seoyun trusts rani a lot, and has opened up to her about her insecurities and overthinking. rani can easily read seoyun, both have grown used to each other's habits and mannerisms. rani is too used to seoyun's talkative, energetic, and attention-loving nature and is the only person who can not give seoyun the attention she wants at times and get away with it. especially when seoyun starts speaking english to tease rani, she definitely gets ignored right off the bat. rani definitely has to keep seoyun in check sometimes. seoyun is always encouraging rani's decisions, whether they be good or bad seoyun's gonna hype the outta her bestie. she shares in rani's hatred for chingu and the minute she heard about the plan she started coming up with ways to DESTROY.  rani knows seoyun's tendency to be late however, and always tells seoyun her shifts are earlier than they actually are so she actually would be on time.

bomin has been volunteering at the daycare that seungjae attends for quite a while. during her sophomore year, she went to pick up seungjae only to find out the little rascal decided to make a jailbreak from... daycare. and so the search for her brother began. the only person from the daycare that seemed to care as much as she did about finding her brother was bomin, and the two frantically searched until they found seungjae had wandered off and found himself in a toy store trying to buy toys with monopoly money that he had pocketed from the day care. bomin stood off to the side awkwardly not wanting to get in the way as seoyun reunited with her brother, half overjoyed-half reprimanding him. afterwards. seoyun was so grateful that bomin cared so much about her brother that she offered to treat him out and that was how their friendship began. bomin is the only other person she considers close to outside of her main friend group, and he was deemed worthy of trusting more on a deeper level. although they attend different schools, it never seems to hinder their friendship. his easy-going nature presents a balance to her randomness and energy but somehow it works out.  he's always taking care of her and patiently putting up with her drama, never once accusing her of being too dramatic, and she always is playfully flirting with him and just feels like she could tell him anything. they text a lot (he tries his best to match her constant texting) and hangout often, sometimes even with seungjae. her friends swear watching them is like watching a kdrama couple, but  never once have they caught feelings for each other, it just isn't like that.

why did you start liking JINYOUNG? : 

— /her eyes widen exaggeratedly and points to herself/ "Me? LIKE Jinyoung?! Bruh, no ING way. Why would I like the enemy- Dude. I know you, I can tell... /leans in and narrows her eyes suspiciously/ "WHO TOLD YOU WHAT DO YOU KNOW"

— /grins cheekily lightly nudges Rani's arm/ "You know I would do anything to help you, and this will be fun! Plus, it wouldn't hurt to be making some monEYYY /starts waving her arms to imaginary music/ okay maybe you shouldn't work here... /grabs rani's arm and pouts/ "no please i was just kidding but you know i can tell everyone to come here instead of that other dump and OOOh I know english right bring in the foreign crowd and I can... seoyun i was kIDDING SHUT UP.

— seoyun gathering kdrama intel and compiling all into different types of revenge they can get on chingu and her friends either tell her to shut up or are fully invested 
— after they close and it's just the group of friends left in the restaurant, they raid the soju fridge and accidentally all get wasted
— jinyoung kisses her but the first thing she does after the kiss is run away 'OH NO I KISSED THE ENEMY AFEASFK"
— realizes she has feels and becomes tongue-tied and nervous around him and runs away bc she can't ignore
—jinyoung trying to get her brother under control and on seungjae's good side but badly failing and saying he has to listen bc jinyoung is besties with santa
—her friends telling her it's okay to like jinyoung after they find out and she's surprised asf "wait. really?"
