Traveling ~

I at saving up money after I've found this newfound love of traveling. I knew I liked traveling but then I got a full-time job and actually could afford traveling and well, now ... I've travelled overseas at least once a year.

First year I went 10 days to South Korea for the second time.

Then I went to Peru for 3 weeks.

And now I'm taking my grandma with me to Iceland for 5 days.

I promised I would do the planning of the trip, and I just sat down and made our itinerary and now I'm so excited to go. I've been to Iceland once before with school but this is going to be special because it's with my grandma.

Iceland was her dream and I remember talking to her in August (after I returned from Peru), but she had already decided she was "too old" to travel anymore. Which is bull. She's not as physically active as she used to be but she's not in any way sick or something like that. And she enjoys flying, she was elated when my parents took her to Norway to visit me when I lived and worked there.

So I decided it wasn't going to be a problem so I asked her if I could take her along to Iceland. Lo and behold, I could - and in a less than a month, we're leaving stress and rainy weather behind for 5 days. I'm looking so forward to it all. (At least I'm hoping Iceland packs snow, not rain, lol)

Saving up is HARD when the world is your oyster... Oh well, traveling is a different kind of riches.

(ps. I wanted to say I'm sorry for not writing, but honestly? I'm not, lol. I'm traveling instead.)

Enjoy your travels! I'd love it if you would start a blog to talk about your travels - I don't get to travel much, so I enjoy getting to hear about my friends' travels.
