Surgery Update 3
It has been 1 month today since my surgery! Life has been up and down but now it is mostly on the up. 1 month ago I had my stomach removed, so you can imagine eating and drinking has been very difficult as a result, dehydration played a large part in making my life miserable. In the last week, which was also my bday~ I have improved a lot. No more dizzy spells. I can now drink a cup of water in under an hour! I am able to eat soft foods like noodles, some chicken, salads and vegetables and mince. I am feeling so much better and am able to sit at my laptop and write normally now, as before I couldn't sit up for long periods of time because it hurt so badly. My body has gone through massive changes, including 15kg weight loss in 1 month, my body functions very differently now compared to when I had my stomach, how much I can eat and how it digests is completely different and weird, but I'm learning to understand my body and my limitations. I do miss my stomach and being able to eat normally. There are foods I can never eat again because my body rejects the food and i become sick (learned that the hard way kekeke), but this surgery is life-changing. Next week I am going to try to have a small session of cardio at the gym.
I've been taking life very easy and letting my body heal. I finally feel well enough to function normally and am in a happy place in life. 2020 is going to be an amazing year. I've almost finished another story! [Lonely No More], I've started my Japanese language classes [moving to Japan Sept. 2022] and already into 2nd year of university!
