runs at an above level speed, she always has a slick and smart reply to everything. whether it be a simple question or a quiet insult, she always comses up with something to say. its her attentiveness that allows for this. she's always paying close attention, as if there are eyes behind her heand and ears all over her body. whether it be small comments made by the trainers or quiet insults shot at her by fellow trainees. she takes in every detail as an alert person and can never be caught off guard.
another trait well valued in kisumi is her individualness. as an introvert, she tends to keep to herself. she doesn't rely on others for anything and won't be caught needing the guidance from authority. her self-self-supporting and individualistic nature can maker come off as a very lonely person, but kisumi prefers this quiet lifestyle over depending on others. it gives her a sense of worth, peace and pride.

unfortunately, kisumi is quite impatient. she is one of the older trainees, and naturally would be put in charge of helping out the younger trainnes, but her impatience prevents that from happening. she'd snap, with a serious face an unemotional voice, at any mistake. while she doesn't mind waiting in lines, when it comes to actual people- kisumi is not someone who can wait on others.
while a collected person, she an be quite stubborn. her individualistic mindset leads her to despise being bossed around. she doesn't listen others, and has a set in stone "My way or the highway" mindset. even if what someone is telling her goes into her benefit, at the end of the day if it goes agains her ideas she'll turn her nose up and walk away.

never was kisumi an extroverted kid. she's had a quiet and cold demeanor since she was a baby. of course, this led to her not having friends as a kid. she'd have a few classmates that she got a long with, but other than that she was a lone. this used to worry her parents, especially considering her little sister was growing to be the complete opposite. eventually, they'd come to accept that kisumi just wasn't somebody who liked to talk to others.
kisumi was always into music growing up. she started off watching the japanese idol groups with amazement as they danced on tv. eventually her music taste spanned outside of her country, and she started to listen to more american rap and kpop.
as a little girl, she was a very big fan korean idol groups, including girls' generation, kara, and bigbang. most importantly, she was a megafan of one of starhill entertainment's biggest groups. this group were the ones who convinced her to become an idol. she knew her vocals were pretty good, though never on the same level as main vocals, but she had started to work on her rapping.
when starhill opened a global audition in tokyo when kisumi was 17, kisumi begged her parents to let her go. they initially didn't like the idea of their daughter going all the way over to korea to become an idol there. but, they rarely saw their daughter so excited over anything the way she was then. so, they allowed her to audition- but they gave her one condition: she had to take her 12 year old sister with her.
kisumi was against the idea of taking that little brat to an event so important with her, but she assumed that kizuki, who was only skilled in dancing, would get denied and she could get her off her back.
after a few months, kisumi got called back by starhill- and to her excitement she as accepted. however, she was shocked (and genuinely mad) to find out that so was kizuki.
the two made it to south korea, where they have been training ever since. their parents visit a lot, though they try to trust kisumi in taking care of her little sister- who's now 19.
