Hello, everyone! I was worried about something, and thought to seek out some answers here. As the title indicates, I'm worried about being plagiarised.

I used to be an active writer on this site around 2-3 years ago, but deleted my account for a bunch of reasons, only to return now on some people's request so that I can upload all the stories I had completed back then. Well, before leaving, there was this one story I had left unfinished here and had developed quite the readership for: let's call that story "A". 

In my years away from AFF, I completed "A" and it's my magnum opus (my best work till date). I've never been more proud of my writing skill, and I feel like this story is my pinnacle, my most perfect version of what I want my writing to be. Because I had already published half of it on AFF prior to deactivating and disappearing, it makes sense now to upload the whole story here. However, because it's my magnum opus, I'm scared someone will plagiarise it. Plagiarism is a worry I have regarding all my works online, but it's tenfold regarding "A" because of how much it means to me. 

Could anyone please tell me what the scene is like on AFF now regarding plagiarism? Around the time I left, I rememebr seeing qutie a few stories being plagiarised, and that has made me very dubious about uploading "A". Is plagiarism that common/ rampant here now? How is plagiarism dealt with here now? Does the plagiarism alert work well? Would it be effective for me to set up an alert for each chapter of "A"?
