personalityorganization is key to heo hyungyu, in both a literal and emotional sense. with planners and assistants, he has his day, week, month, and year entirely planned out with specific timelines and schedules. he knows when to wake up, when to go to sleep, when to eat, when to work and when to relax. his room is always clean, clothes always folded, etc. he stays on top of everything with a tyrannical eye. he's goal-driven and focused.
if there's anything that hyungyu wants to prove in his life- its that he isn't the typical rich boy who can't live for himself. whenever he's given a task, even something as simple as cooking a meal for his housemates- he puts 110% into it. he's not one to spend sleepless nights, as he has a very specific sleeping schedule, but he makes sure to rest well for that when he gets up- he can work hard in the day. he stays committed and energetic in all his projects, and you can expect him to get the job done.
this hardworking and organized aspect of him also lead into him being quite a responsible man. he knows his roles and tasks, and will fulfill what is always expected of him. he's always a person you can rely. even if you're not quite close to him, if you ask him to do something- he acknowledges that it's what you expect from him and so he does just that.
hyungyu has always been a smart man. he excelled in school from a young age, mostly since his parents put so much emphasis on academics when he was a child. he's clever and sharp, never the one you can catch having a dull moment. as a quick-witted man, he's gonna have an answer no matter the problem.
this shows in his logic. hyungyu is not a person who moves based on his emotions, instead choosing to rely on the facts. he gives and always requires clear and rational reasoning. he thinks situations through before jumping into them, never the one to act irrationally.
despite his success and family history, hyungyu is not an extremely prideful man. he is humble and modest, not one to brag about himself. he doesn't see himself as rich heir of a hotel empire, instead viewing himself as just average person with average talents.
hyungyu loves, to put it short, perfection. he needs everythinng to turn out greatly, or else he is left uncomfortable and angry. he refuses to accept anything short of his idea of excellence. his eagerness to reach flawlessness also causes a lot of self-deprecation coming from his end. he constantly beats himself up when he fails to do something without fault, and will stress over it for weeks on end. he expects everyone else to have this mindset, too. when you don't perfect your craft, it infuriates him. 'why bother if you won't do it perfectly?' is a mindset that plagues hyungyu deeply.
and so, his constant criticism comes at no surprise. if hyungyu notices a flaw in himself or somebody else, he will point it out. he will continue to point it out until the issue is fixed. It makes him a total buzzkill, never willing accept that some things are just okay. the people around him are always swarmed by his comments about how "you could've done that better" and "your work isn't good enough- try again" that makes him somebody that you always want to avoid.
