U/IDOL / OHNO SAYUMI (collab?)
[PERSONALITY TRAITS] ISFP, Gryfinpuff / Supportive, reliable, patient, imaginative, observant, enthusiastic, loyal, hardworking, good practical skills, humble, shy, takes things too personally, represses her feelings, overloads/overworks, reluctant to change, too altruistic.[PERSONALITY]
Sayumi is a bright girl who is always ready to help those around her. She is very patient, loyal and supportive, meaning she would do anything for those close to her if it's within her power. But she can often be too altruistic, sometimes to the point of neglecting her own feelings and needs. She often represses her feelings as she doesn’t want to push them onto other people and cause them worry, but at the same time this can sometimes cause her more stress as she deals with them on her own.
She's hardworking which she has been told is a good point about herself, just not when it leads to her overworking herself and burning herself out. Sayumi is a little shy, mostly around people she doesn’t know, which can sometimes come off as if she is uninterested in others, even though she isn't.
[BACKGOUND]
Ohno Sayumi was born in Nagoya, Japan on April 1st, 1995, making her the youngest of two children. From a young age, Sayumi loved music, her parents would often play music and Sayumi would dance and mumble baby talk along to it before she could really speak. As she started growing up, Sayumi never lost that love of music. When she was about five, her parents enrolled her into dance and vocal lessons as it seemed to be something she really enjoyed. By the time Sayumi was six she was enrolled in the majority of dance classes her dance school had to offer, taking everything from ballet to jazz and even tap. Sayumi continued to dance and take vocal lessons all throughout her childhood. As she grew older, Sayumi and her brother, Yudai, grew closer as they started to practice and perform together at local talent shows. The two would typically sing more than dance as Yudai was known to be a wonderful vocalist by many and Sayumi wasn’t really bothered as she just loved being able to bond with her brother despite their large age difference.
When Sayumi was thirteen she started to notice more and more idol groups around on the internet and in the media and thats when she decided that that is what she wanted to do with her life. She originally wanted to audition to be part of the Hello Pro Egg program but failed to convince her parents to let her do so. It wasn’t until she was fifteen that she was finally given the opportunity to move to Tokyo with her brother. Her parents wanted to give her the opportunity so that she could get a better education and attend a better high school since Tokyo was larger and they believed it had more to offer. Sayumi quickly jumped at the idea, thinking that it would be easier for her to achieve her dream if she were to move to Tokyo. So after passing her High School entrance exam, Sayumi and Yudai made the move to Tokyo together.
When Sayumi finally arrived in Tokyo, she joined a local dance crew, quickly melding well into the group and becoming one of the main members. Those dreams of becoming an idol were quickly pushed to the back burner as she started to focus mostly on school and spent the majority of her free time with the dance crew she had joined. That was until her brother had been asked to join a new group that was to be called blackout (later changed to Da-iCE) as one of the two vocalists. Seeing her brother complete his dream of becoming a singer inspired her and pushed her to do the same. After talking with her parents, Sayumi decided that she would only audition for companies after she graduated high school. After all, she did have a strong value for education just like she did for music.
Sayumi did her best to self train herself from when she was sixteen until she was finally able to audition for companies. But after she left high school, Sayumi didn't know what company she wanted to audition for. She thought of auditioning for any and every company she could, be really didn't like the idea. So in the mean time, she decided to get job as a sales assistant (as she wansn't goin into university and didn't want to freeload of her brother) and continued her self training. She wasn't ready to give up, but she also didn't know where she wanted to go. This was also the time where she started thinking that maybe a Korean agency was for her, so she also did her best to try study Korean. It wasn't until she saw a notice for a company called Unite Media in late 2016 that she decided to finally audition. After being called to another audition over in Korea, Sayumi had been informed that she made it and was accepted into Unite Media and started training in early 2017.

[TRAINEE LIFE]
Sayumi's trainee life was pretty average. She would wake early and go to the studio to practice before school and would go straight back to practice after school as well. She was very committed to her training, only missing a couple of days in her five years. If she was sick and couldn't dance, she would sing, if she couldn't do either she would practice her Korean and English or do something else, anything else. She liked to believe her commitment was her strongest point in her trainee years (especially during her individual years). That being said, training still wasn't easy. She had her times of doubt and times where she wondered if it would all be worth it in the end or if she really had what it took to actually debut, after all, there were a lot more trainees that she thought were better than her. But in the end it only pushed Sayumi to do her best to prove that she had what it took to debut, and in the end it payed off.
Once she heard Unite was planning a survival show of sorts, she knew it was a chance she had to make. If she wasn't a member of the winning group, hopefully it would get her name out there. There was no harm in trying after all.
[SCANDALS]
Some time after their debut / U/IDOL's Sayumi disrespectful to her seniors? / false / Though it is true that Sayumi forgets to use Korean honourifics from time to time, she doesn't do it out of spite or disrespect. It's an honest mistake on her part and she often apologises as soon as she realises what she did.

[COMMENTS] Here is my girl, Sayumi! I hope you like her! She's actually a character I created for a story of mine a while back but never got to use, so I hope she's okay! I'm sorry her personality is all over the place. For some reason I really can't write personalities no matter how hard I try.
[SUGGESTIONS] Can't think of any at the moment!
