unpopular opinions and where to find them

it's been... three years, i've forgotten how anything on aff works, i have friends on here i haven't talked to in a WHILE, but you know... it's never too late to join the party with some good ol' unpopular and un-asked-for opinions, stemming from my very own brain! what's good y'all, keeks might be back.... *eje emoji* 

 

unpopular kpop opinions by yours truly:

- i don't think bts makes that good music. i don't enjoy listening to them - and here's the thing: i don't. it's really that easy
- i think the concept of knetz is ridiculous. your opinion doesn't matter if all you do is talk  
- hot take: ualizing and/or infantualizing a woman is not the only two options you have when presented with a female artist (:
- i cannot stress this enough: if you don't like an artist/a song/an album, then don't listen. don't waste your time consuming negative energy
- more importantly, don't force other people to catch your negative vibes. (say it with me: not about you!)
- nothing justifies being mean on social media platforms. mind your business, david
- your 'oppar' isn't your responsibility. if he does dumb , he has to own up to it, period. it's not your job to defend him 
- no idol is flawless. and if you go around beliving that, honey, you've got a big storm comin' 
 

unpopular k-fic opinions, also by yours truly:

- nothing baffles me more than mpreg. like, the sheer biology of it all? how have you guys made this into a thing?
- if an oc is a korean copy of the writer, specifically made to fit into a fantasy, it's most likely not going to be a very good story
- "messy bun"
- write me a lenghty, well thought-out exo fic that isn't centered around their wolf-era. do it. i triple-double-dare you
- Y/N-stories need to just.... cease 
- mary sues and gary stues are NOT welcome in this household. they can sleep in the yard
- genderswitch??? is just a very weird concept to me. but is it really just the front runner to writing transgendered persons into a story? i don't know. i don't think so. and until it is, i'll stay waaaaay over here, mindin' my own beeswax
- romanized hangul has no business appearing in your story. none whatsoever. hit me with that "annyeong!!!" one more time and i'll walk into the nearest ocean

Can you give me one good example of a Mary Sue/Gary Stue fanfic? I feel like I've either never read one or it doesn't bother me that much.

With the exo wolf area one I highly recommend checking out 'when night and day become one' or any story from her and if you want one that has all the members 'my bodyguard princess' is great. those are some of the best exo stories I've ever read and they don't have anything to do with the wolf era

I don't think some of your opinions are particularly unpopular, but I still agree with some of them haha--especially with mpreg :-//
Also I think that romanized Hangul is only bearable for describing food (instead of saying "pork belly" writers put "samgyeopsal") or places, but when people start using it to write "unnie" or "hyung" after every sentence, it's just hard to read :-//

the mpreg one is literally the one thing ive heard the most ever. it’s also the one logic argument i cannot have like y’all have no problem writing your faves into a caste system of wolves but y’all scream realism the second someone says mpreg like there’s no logic?? just say “not my thing” and move on, but don’t go around saying mpreg is impossible arguing realism when you turn your idols into wolves to write like yikes.



also im a genderswitch writer but i get your point and you probably should stay waaaaaaay over there because it’s not the front runner to trans characters for many writers although those writers do exist (those who write trans characters and other queer people using genderswitch).



also also - I take on your dare lmao. idk about the lengthy and well-thought-out but i can do an exo story that doesn’t revolve around Wolf exo.



and we’re not in jail yay!
