Deactivated Author Accounts

Hi Everyone,

It's my first time writing a blog about anything here in AFF, but I just wanted to express my sadness about my recent discovery: a favorite author has deactivated their account, and with it the access to their well written stories.

I'm talking about Kolacks who wrote jensoo stories such as Countdown, Coma, the one shot collection: Temporary Closure and Midnight Memories which contained favorites such as Volleyball, Lights, Hometown, and Homecoming to name a few. I love these stories because more than the featured OTP, they touched on slices of life in a balanced perspective, taking a fair look in the good and bad of the situation. It wasn't always about romance, and that attracted me since it shows that the author was willing to put their writing to the next level by writing about uncommon themes in sites such as AFF.

I don't know what their reason is for deactivating their account, and in doing so, render us unable to access their stories, but I genuinely hope that they are alright.

For whatever reason they've withdrawn their intellectual property from AFF, I wish them well and hope to let them know that their work will be missed.

For my fellow readers, please don't forget to appreciate the authors behind the stories you love. An upvote, a comment or a combination of these gives happiness to an author that is publishing their work free of charge for a like minded community to enjoy. If they have it under crowdfunding, and you are in a position to support them financially, consider being their sponsor to show your support in order to give them more incentive to continue writing.

Our favorite authors may leave at any time without prior notice as a result of discouragement caused by lack of responses, rude comments or simply life needs their attention more. So while you still can, make them feel your appreciation.

Sincerely,

Readsalotofstuff

Just realized that, kind of sad that I can read my fave jensoo stories anymore. But whatever the reason, good luck for kolack, and thank you for making wonderful jensoo stories.
