Glow, by definition means to radiate light and warmth. Here at Glow we do just that. We strive to provide a light, warm environment where your imagination and creativity can flourish. We are a general, Facebook-based roleplay group that focuses on the Asian entertainment industry. Come and join our growing family.

Rules

1. to join: subscribe and upvote! then fill out the form below, aff must be at least 3 months old.
2. Reservations last 3 days from posting.
3. Your first account must be sufficiently active and welcoming to new members for 2 weeks minimum before applying for a second muse. A third muse can be discussed with admins. If you wish to do a character switch, all of your accounts should be sufficiently active.
4. CC is limited to 4 times per person total. CC will only be considered after 1 full week of activity.

Activity & Expectations;

1. New muses must show sufficient activity within 48 hours of being added to the roleplay or they will be automatically removed with a 1 week timeout before reapplying.
2. Welcoming new members is required and counts toward your activity. You should welcome a minimum of (3) new members a week.
3. Interactions on the news-feed / replying to posts should be kept up with as often as possible. 
4. Bubble roleplaying is not allowed in any form (only talking to your muse’s significant other, group members and friends). Give everyone a chance.
5. No Mpreg.
6. Updating profile and cover photo do not count toward activity.
7. Activity checks will be conducted every week by admins and members who do not meet sufficient activity levels will be messaged by admins to check your activity. If removed for inactivity there is a 1 week timeout before re-applying. 
8. Do not post generic “Hi my name is ____” or “Welcome to Glow” as this is breaking the fourth wall. Do not refer to the roleplay by saying “welcome here"  as that is incorrect to the idol-verse. Any posts of this type will be given a warning.
9. Keep up with removing inactive accounts from groups and DM from admins. If admins need to message you 3 times (to remind you) about it you will receive a warning. a/d/d coconut dream t/o your a*p*p.
10. Keep drama in character. This roleplay is for writers so we do not tolerate any kind of bullying, ooc drama. The IC stuff is vital for character development but do not let it escalate. If you need help in regard to another member or have concerns DM the admin team.
11. A hiatus may only be requested after showing sufficient activity for 2 weeks.
12. Hiatuses cannot be stacked, and require at least 2 weeks between requests.

If you choose to inbox admins instead of commenting on the document for hiatus be sure to include both admins in the message.
Make sure you check out our hiatus document (pinned in ooc) and follow guidelines

Full hiatus ( minimal activity ): 2 weeks maximum

Semi hiatus ( fewer replies, still regularly checking in ): 1 month maximum

Also, be sure to write the type of your hiatus and the end date of into your profile’s bio. Sufficient activity must be shown up to 48 hours after hiatus has ended to avoid being automatically removed. 

Account Settings / Newsfeed / Groups;

1. Make sure that all posts/profile photos are set to friends only. Admins will provide a gentle nudge if you forget to change your settings! 
2. If you are using an alternate name be sure to add a “Nickname” to the top of your profile with your muse’s name (message admins if you need help with this setting).
3. We welcome adult themes however, please refrain from posting /ographic gifs/ually themed images to the newsfeed. We have a Rated group in which these images are openly allowed. At your discretion they are allowed under private posts, not statuses, but avoiding posting this type of content will help you avoid lock-outs.

Note from admins;

Please always remember that the admins are here to have fun too and we are by no means ever purposefully trying to annoy you or ruin your fun, but it is our job to make sure that everyone has the equal opportunity to create beautiful stories for their muses and to ensure that all parties in this role play feel welcomed and respected. We are here for YOU, remember that. We are always open to feedback but you have to give respect to get respect.
