Style:

Eunrin's style is inconsistent as she's the kind that likes a lot of things. Her fashion sense are according to her mood. If she feels like doning a retro style, she will have them on. But when she feels giddy or girly, Eunrin would put on her best vintage looking dress. Most of the dresses have flowers printed on it and she usually wears her boots with them. Heels only on certain events or occasions.

☀ Personal Information (Cont.)

Personality Traits:

+ Sentimental , encouraging , imaginative , optimistic, diligent and go-getter.
- clumsy , over-thinker, self-concious, crybaby

Elaboration:

"Every picture has a story"
Eunrin appreciates the old over the new and the vintage over the modern more. She likes collecting old journals, secondhand books that no one wants anymore and old letters and postcards that sometimes dated 100 years ago. Eunrin loves the sentimental value these old things have, to her, each one of them has a story and is worth of keeping.

"You still got a long time to rise up. Falling down now doesn't mean it's over."

A lot of her friends love going to her for advices or motivations. Eunrin, who has a bright personality, being able to get along with anyone will surely have a lot of encouraging things to say. She loves to hype her friends and encourage them to do better, either in terms of their skills or their life. She rarely pop their bubble and let them do what they love, unless it was bad idea. She will definitely not encourage to drunk text your ex, that's one thing for sure.

"I see... I see a sea storm.. and a viking ship..."
With all the books that she'd read, it's impossible for her imagination not to expand. Eunrin's majoring in Illustrations and her mind tends to be wild at times. When she is out of ideas, she'll have her epic music on and closes her eyes. From there, she'll see where the music will take her and imagined all sorts of adventure. When it was done, she'll sketch them out. But she's not just imaginative in this, Eunrin can clearly see how things would be in certain situations, she tends to imagine them a lot. She day dreams a lot too.

"It's either you do it properly, or you don't do it at all."
When it comes to work or tasks, Eunrin would laways give her 200% our of 100%. She's a very diligent worker and a go getter. It's either go big or go home for her. She hates doing half- work and hate it even more when she knows the task she was given could be better. This sometimes stresses her out and she would skip eating, at least not until she finished her work.

"I can handle this, this is just a hiccup."
She would repeat this in her head like a mantra as she cried. Eventhough Eunrin got tripped and kicked by life so many times, faced so many setbacks and eventually at times, put her studies in jeopardy, Eunrin always look on the bright side, determined to turn the events around instead of having the negativity to affect her. She always set off that good vibe that was impossible for people to shake off. Her energy sometimes can be contagious and affect others as well.

"Ah shoot! I have to redo this again!"

Eunrin is the epitome of clumsiness. This is because her mind is always wondering around and she just got lost in her thoughts while doing something. She is careful most of the time but there are times when it just happened. This often lead to her injuring herself accidentally which cause the people around her to be more worried than they should have and her having to redo her work all over again. But funny thing is, Eunrin never break a plate.

"What if I had done it that way? Would be any different?"
Although she has a lot of positive vibe, Eunrin tends to overthink on the things that might actually not or never going to happen. She often lingers on the 'what ifs' and her wild imagination isn't much help either. They, most of the time contributed to this trait of her and eventually, it makes her paranoid at certain things.

"Am I...I am really am a problem?"
Wherever she goes, she's always concious of how people look at her despite how carefree she looks and acts. She worries over the smallest things and mistakes and when someone points out a flaw of hers, she'll dwell on it for days and will do her very best to improve it. It's good that she wants to improve but at the same time, she became less and less self-loving and focuses only to make the people around her happy with her doings.

"I'm not crying, you are!"
This is not something that she could control. Ever since she was a child, Eunrin would always cry. Let it be good occasions or bad, she'll cry. She's touched, she'll cry, she's upset, she'll cry. It's probably because of the emotions she tend to keep in her instead of expressing them. She cries even more when it comes to the people she cares dearly and sometimes, the tears just come out without her noticing.

Background:

Eunrin was born into a family of four. Her mother is a housewife while her father works in a small estate company with decent amount of salary but enough to sustain them both. Her older sister, as soon as she graduated from university, she managed to land a job in a big company as an accountant but quit after several years of working in order to do her own freelancing business.

When Eunrin was a child, she had always shown interest in art. Her parents didn't mind it back then as they were told by the doctors it was part of child-growth, part of the brain cells connecting process. Minyoung had drawn things as well when she was a child but it wasn't as often as Eunrin.

A she entered high school, Eunrin picked out the art stream in her batch. Her parents weren't very happy but they didn't show it. They thought the girl would in the end change her mind when she entered university but that wasn't the case. Even when Eunrin entered university, she still stick with the Art Course. Her results weren't bad but they were nowhere near as outstanding as Minyoung's. Eunrin didn't mind though. Even when her parents comparing her with her older sister, Eunrin never felt a single hatred or jealousy towards Minyoung. She knew that her parents meant well and that they just don't know how to approach her and the other reason why she was fine with it was because of Minyoung's endless support for her.

"You can come live with me!" Minyoung offered as she read Eunrin's university offer letter. "This is in Seoul, you can live with me and Seojoon. I know he wouldn't mind. We have a lot of empty spaces here." Minyoung spread her arms wide, looking around her house. It was true, her house was big and there were a lot of empty spaces. It could use more people in the house instead of just her and her husband. The more the merrier.
"That's really sweet of you, unnie but I can't keep on relying on you."
"You're my sister."
"And you have a husband. I don't want to invade your privacy. Plus I need to get a job, I don't want to keep on leeching off mom and dad."

Minyoung looked thoughtful for a moment. "How about this, I pay for your tuition?"
"What? no!"
"Why not?! I want to help, plus you can pay me back after you got the job. How's that?"
"What job?" Seojoon asked as soon as he entered the house. "Oh, you're here, Eunrin!"

Eunrin stood up and hugged her brother in law, flashing him a grin. Seojoon then sat next to his wife, putting an arm around her shoulder and peek at the offer latter in her hand. His brows lifted up when he realized what it was. "Are you going to move in? That'll be great!"
Minyoung sighed in defeat. "She doesn't want to. Might need your help this weekend to look for a house for her to rent, are you free?"
Seojoon looked back and forth between his wife and Eunrin who looked guilty. "Absolutely! Where are you staying at the moment?"
Before Eunrin could reply, Minyoung beat her to it. "here. she'll stay here until she found a house to stay in, okay?" Her older sister didn't wait for her reply when she winked and got up from the couch, heading to her own room. "Bring your luggage into the the guest room, Eunrin. Unpack and get changed, we'll have dinner outside tonight!" Her voice was cheerful.
Eunrin and Seojoon exhanged looks and her brother in law broke into laughter. "That's your sister alright, very much like you. You heard her kid, I don't want her to get hungry because you know, a hungry woman is an angry woman." With that, Eunrin too couldn't help but to laugh along with him.

Roughly about two weeks later, Eunrin finally got a house. Minyoung and Seojoon took turns in taking Eunrin out to hunt for a house and finally, she fell in love with Kim HyeJa's Cozy House. It was fully furnished and Eunrin was told that if she were to really move into the house then she would have one housemate. Eunrin didn't mind and right there and then, the deal was strike and Minyoung paide the deposit first. Two days later, Eunrin got all her stuffs packed and Seojoon sent her to her new house. She promised herself that she will get a job and pay Minyoung and Seojoon back even if they said they don't care about cash because family is all that matters. But Eunrin was determined.

She stayed in the new house alone for about three days until her new housemate came moving in. Their encounter was not what Eunrin imagined. She didn't know that the girl had her own spare of key. Imagine how the two of them yelped and yelled when they saw each other. Eunrin almost slipped and fell with a toothbrush in while the new girl kept on waving her hands frantically and they just stared at each other before erupting into laughter.
"I'm sorry! I must have shocked you!"
"I'm sorry too! I'm a mess!"
"No no! You're just brushing your teeth casually with your hair looking like a nest."
"And you just came in here sneaking around like a burglar."
"I'm Jung Minhee."
"Park Eunrin, pleasure to have you as my housemate."

The two of them made a point to clean up the house every week during the weekends and split the chores. Minhee was genuinely glad that Eunrin was easy to get along with and Eunrin was grateful that Minhee was just as friendly. The two of them got to know each other more and eventually, they've become best friends. They told each other every single thing of what happened in their daily life. All the latest news, the latest gossips, the ranting and crying, the crushes they had. It was like living with a sister.

Minhee was the one who suggested for Eunrin to apply a job at Le Petit Lapin Cafe. She heard about it from a classmates of hers and thought that Eunrin might be interested. After filling in the registration form and resume, Eunrin headed for the cafe, going in for an interview. This was her sixth job interview because apparently, finding a part-time job wasn't as easy as it sounded. That night, Eunrin received a call from an unknown number and it was the store owner calling her just to inform the girl that she got the job.

For six months, Eunrin worked as the day shift busser but when it was the new semester, she had to switch to the night shift since all of her classes were in the morning, five times a week.

Lifestyle:

From Monday to Thursday, Eunrin have classes to attend to. Then she'll head staright to the cafe to begin her shift.
On
Friday, it was a bit relaxed as there are no classes, only assignment submissions. Eunrin often send her assignments early in the morning and then she'll go home to either sleep a bit more, painting or just read her books.
On
Saturday morning, she'll go for a jog around the nearby park in her neighbourhood, head home and rest for a bit while before cleaning the house with Minhee. Right after that, she goes straight to work. At night, Eunrin would have a movie night with Minhee and catch up with each other.
Sunday is her resting day. She has no exact routine on Sunday. Eunrin just do as she pleases. Sometimes she'll go out, sometimes she'll just stay in to read. Sometimes she binge watch all the movies and sometimes, she finishes all of her assignments that needed to be submitted the next day.

 Fears:

She is scared of height. The girl can never go on a ferris wheel or cable cars. But she doesn't mind roller coasters or anything that moves at top speed in the air. Eunrin faces her fear every time she has to travel on a plane.

Scare of the ocean. She doesn't mind sitting at the beach but she would never wanted to go into the water. Just by the beach and dipping her feet by the ankle is fine. To actually play in the water and swim around with the others? no thanks. This is because she hates not knowing what's underneath her and it scares her that something might be lurking around in the darkness of the bottomless ocean. Once she got on a ride on a banana boat, and refused to let go of it because she doesn't want to be thrown into the ocean.

Eunrin had gone parasailing once, it was like both of her fears combined. Height and the ocean. It scared her to death but she wanted to do it because it seemed fun. It was fun, until they dipped up to the waist in the water that she started to panic. Then when they rose her in the air, it was way too high that she had to shout for them to lower it down a bit. She had fun nevertheless, but did she got over fear? No.

Family:

 Older sister / Park Minyoung / 30 / Licensed Accountant / 90%

Park Minyoung and Park Eunrin are very close despite their 9 years . While other siblings might have a hard time trying to get along with such a gap, the Park siblings had no problem at all. If anything Minyoung is where Eunrin would go running crying to. At the age of 26, Minyoung got married and lived with her husband in Seoul. She used to work with a big corporate company but now she's doing a freelance job in accounting, being her own boss after collecting experiences and making a lot of connections with the important people.

When Eunrin enrolled into university, she had been the one to provide the tuition fee for her younger sister. It was because she wanted her to be just as successful. While their parents weren't very keen of Eunrin's choice in majoring, Minyoung was on a full supportive mode for her and told her.
"Mom and dad aren't going to live your life for you. You are. This is your life, you shouldn't waste your time into doing something you're not interested or happy with. I'm always supporting you, even if your decisions are sometimes stupid."

The two of them can just talk about anything without any limitations. They tell each other everything and Minyoung is the only person that Eunrin never felt reluctant in pouring all her problems in. She knew perfectly that she could rely on her older sister. That was when she got into university, Eunrin made sure to get deans list in each semester so that she could prove to her sister that all her support and motivation and faith in her is not in vain.

Brother in law / Park SeoJoon / 30 / Head of the HRD (Human Resource Department) / 90%

Park Seojoon knows just the right words to say to the Park siblings. Eunrin is very much different than his wife and he acknowledges that. He, just like his wife supports the young girl with all his heart. Whatever dear to his wife, is dear to him as well. He is also fond of Eunrin because of her positive behaviour and the fact that she was always smiling made it impossible for him to not love her just as much as a family member.

The moment he heard Eunrin enrolled into university, far away from home, he was ready to set up a room for the girl to stay with them but to his surprise, Eunrin refused. He was a bit dissappointed because it would be so much fun to have the girl around the house but nevertheless, he respects her decision. Despite his busy schedule, Seojoon never once complained when Eunrin seek help from him regarding her university systems or with something else. He too helped Eunrin to find a nice and pleasant but affordable for Eunrin to rent. The man even paid Eunrin's deposit for the house on the behalf of his wife and the couple checked on her from time to time. They sometimes brought food and have dinner together at Eunrin's place.

He often assure Eunrin that even if she is far away from home, from her parents, she could always rely on them. If anything, he wants her to put them on a speed dial.

Friends:

Best friend / Jung MinHee / 24 / History Major Student / 95%

Eventhough Minhee goes to another university, the two of them clicked so well the moment the lived together on the second floor of Kim HyeJa's Cozy House. The two girls find a lot of similarities between them, they share the same taste in clothing, the same taste in food and even if they don't share the same thoughts sometimes, they complete each other. Minhee had always admired Eunrin for her talent in arts while Eunrin had always admire how smart Minhee is in scoring her exams even studying so hard.

MinHee is also close to Minyoung, Eunrin's older sister as well. She always prepare dinner for Eunrin, fully knowing that the girl won't even have the time to eat or buy lunch. Her classes aren't as hectic as Eunrin's so whenever she got the freetime, she would head over to Eunrin's workplace just to give the girl packed bento. Sometimes, she would wake up early in the morning just to pack some breakfast for Eunrin.

When she is not around, she made sure to tell her landlady and ask the kind lady to keep an eye on Eunrin, check on her from time to time.

Others:

landlady / Kim Hye Ja / 68 / landlady / 70%

Kim Hye Ja is Eunrin's landlady. While Eunrin lived on the second floor of the house, Hyeja lived on the first floor. She is always lively and up and abbout in the morning to water her plants. Hyeja often send food to Eunrin's floor and check on the girl from time to time upon Seojoon and Minyoung's request. She got paid extra as well by the couple as well as a thank you gesture for keeping an eye on Eunrin.

She treat Eunrin like her own daughter and invite the girl to have dinner at her house sometimes. When Eunrin is out late, she would wait for the girl until she heard Eunrin's footsteps on her ceiling. This is because all of her children lived far away from her and she rarely see her grandaughter and Eunrin, in a way filled that empty void and loneliness in her heart. On Sundays, the two would either go to the wet market together to cook or they would have tea together in the evening, depending on their availability.

One of Eunrin's male co-worker (you know who it is wink wink - love interest section) came home together with Eunrin. She was a bit taken aback but happy at the same time because she thought Eunrin finally have a boyfriend, someone to look after her and care for her. She ended up inviting the two into her home and they just talk and make small conversation. But for the male worker, it felt like an interrogation.

Employer / Ahn Jaxlynn / 28 / Le Petit Lapin's Owner / 60%

Ahn Jaxlynn had been nothing but sweet towards her employees. She takes good care of them and mothers them a lot. Probably because she feels responsible towards them and the fact that they, in a way, are her babies. Eunrin and Jaxlynn maintained a good relationship even if Jaxlynn was sceptical about Eunrin's working skills. She had been the one to interview Eunrin and first handedly witnessed the girl's clumsiness. But the more she got to know Eunrin, the more she found the girl endearing and she hired her because no one can resist to help a girl who is owing up to her actions and words about paying her older sister back. Jaxlynn found that admirable and decided to give her a chance.

Jaxlynn always keep an eye on each of her employees, making sure that nothing happen to them while they are working. She is also very supportive of them and their dreams. Once, Eunrin had an art exhibition at her university and Jaxlynn decided it was a cute idea to bring the whole Le Petit Lapin's family to her exhibition to show support. She does this to each one of her employees. Just the other day she gave out free movie tickets to a couple of her employees much like an encouragement for them to get together because Jaxlynn likes to play match-make.

When she found out that Eunrin had fallen in love with one of the customers, she didn't say anything. She wasn't sure if she should support it given their circumstances and the but if anything, she would be there for the girl. At the same time, she was lowkey for another employee of her to sweet Eunrin off her feet because she found their chemistry to be so much better and cuter together so she did all in her power to push these two together but neither got the hint so she put in extra effort on them.

`Lee DongWook

Birthname: Lee DongWook | Chemistry Professor.
Birthdate: November 2, 1981 (37 y/o)
Other Name(s)/Nickname(s): none.

Traits:

+ mature, charming, humble and confident.

Elaboration:

It's probably because of his age that Dongwook is very mature. He handle things differently and patiently. Instead of jumping into conclusions without any proof, Dongwook would sit back and think rationally.
Charming is one way to describe Dongwook. He did it without even trying and that is why he is his students' favourite professor. Dongwook has that certain charm that attract people to him, regardless of him being friendly or not, wherever he walks, heads will turn.
Despite all the praises and awards he'd gotten, Dongwook always make a point to remember who he was and how he started by being
humble. He refused to take in any high titles that was given to him by his University and he always shy away from attention.
It's always attractive when a man is
confident and that is exactly what Dongwook is. He isn't overly confident or anything, he isn't arrogant or boasting but just confident at the right amount. The way he walks, the way he talks, the way he approaches people were always in a mix of confidence and perhaps a bit of charisma.

There are no negative traits on him because Eunrin doesn't know him that well. She only see him while she's working and he is only a customer.

First Meeting?:

Lee Dongwook is a regular at the Le Petit Lapin cafe and he basically knew all of the staff, both the day and night shift. He isn't close with them but he knows who is who and which staff is in charge of which. He's a coffee lover and the fact that he's a regular and always ordered the same stuffs made it easier for the staff to set his order apart. Sometimes they even know what time he would arrive and will have his usual order ready beforehand. He even sat in the same spot if it was available.

Their first meeting wasn't anything special or anything of a magical and romantic flair. It was simple and brief. Perhaps with a little dose of Eunrin's clumsiness as well. The moment he stepped into the cafe, Eunrin knew she was done for. Before she realized it, she was already falling for him halfway through. She greeted him and took him to his table and proceeded with getting his orders. It was during those early days before he came regularly. There was nothing special about the meeting, he hardly look at her but there was definitely, something special about him.

Later after her shift ended, Eunrin walked on the side of the street, heading for the bus station. Along the way, she had to walk down the stairs but Eunrin being Eunrin, missed a step and eventually slid down the stairs with one of her legs underneath her. Her knee and calves were bleeding but thankfully she didn't twist her ankle.

"Are you alright?!" She heard a man shouted from a far.
Thud thud thud. It came from her left.
"Are you alright?" he asked again in a soft manner as he knelt down in front of her.
Eunrin looked at him, out of breath as she could never forget such a face. Dongwook. "Ah..Ahjussi..."
Carefully, he pulled Eunrin's folded leg to stretch out. He examined the wounds and the blood that escaped from the ripped skin. "This looks really bad. It'll leave a scar if you leave it any longer. Can you stand?"
The girl nodded, eyes were unable to look away from him. He lifted her up with one motion and Eunrin could have sworn her heart stopped at the moment. He smelled of rusty papers, leather and cologne when he pulled her close to him, with one hand supporting her by the waist. "My car isn't that far. I'll take you to the clinic. We need to get those wounds cleaned up."
And so he took her to the clinic and paid for her bills. In the car, Dongwook was the one who talked a lot as Eunrin was incapable of talking around her crush but Dongwook didn't know this. He just thought she was a quiet girl and went on about some fun facts about trees and plants.
"Can you even go to work tomorrow with a leg like that? You have to move around a lot." He asked.
The girl looked at him, puzzled. "You remember me?"
Dongwook just snorted in disbelief but in a friendly way as he smiled after that. "You're from Le Petit Lapin. Of course I remember you- is this where your campus is?"
"Ah, yes, just right in front of there."
She pointed her finger towards the street. "You can just drop me here, ahjussi. I can walk."
"Nonsense, I'll drop you off on the inside. Are you sure you don't want to take a day off? Those wounds were pretty bad."
"It's alright. I need to submit my assignment today. Thank you for the lift."
Eunrin said as soon as he entered the university compound and pulled over.
"How are you going to go home? You can't take the public transportation in that condition."
"I have friends who live in my neighbourhood. I can get a lift from them."

There was a pause and  Dongwook nodded, unlocking his door. "Be careful alright? Don't go sliding down the stairs anymore."
"Sir yes sir!"
Eunrin nodded and got out of the car.
Right at that moment, Eunrin fell harder for him.

Interactions:

Eunrin and Dongwook never progressed anything. That was because it was just a one-sided love for Eunrin. She never told him of her feelings and she didn't plan too. The two remained friends as Dongwook was oblivious to how she saw him. Their interactions were just purely based on friendly smiles, Eunrin shying away trying to calm her heart and most of the time, it was him treating her like a younger sister. He didn't treat her any differently from the other girls.
Her heart shattered when he brought a nice and fine young lady into the cafe with him. She didn't have to ask to know that he was very much in love with this lady. She knew she never stood a chance but it was still hurtful, regardless.

Traits:

+ friendly, cheeky, trustworthy, flirty, respectful.
- insensitive, blunt, impulsive, carrying a heavy load alone

Elaboration:

Although he looks cold on the outside, Ten is actually the very opposite of it. He's friendly and warm and always has a smile on his face, very much like Eunrin. He only looks serious when he's tired or hungry or maybe when he is being serious. But most of the time, Ten is very much friendly with everybody, which makes it easy for people to approach him. Some of the customers come to the cafe only because of him.

His friendliness comes together with his cheeky side. He loves to tease and lighten up the environment and lift up the mood. In other words, he's a mood maker. Some of the words that came out from his mouth doesn't even make sense but nobody cares because they've become so accustomed to this. If Ten goes by a day without being cheeky or playful in a witty way, something is definitely wrong with him.

Despite his playfulness and sometimes childish antics, Ten is one of the most trustworthy workers of Le Petit Lapin. His co-workers entrusted him with their secrets and he's not one to gossip either. He doesn't care who dates who or who got dumped, to him, it's their personal life and has nothing to do with him, unless in a way they decided to drag him in. But other than that, Ten keeps his mouth shut. Him being trustworthy was also factored by the fact that he is responsible and dependable even if he often arrive late to his job. When there's a job that needs to be done, Ten is your guy. You need someone to help you out with something of an urgent matter? Ten's the one!

Being flirty can be considered as a bad trait as well but not with Ten. He doesn't flirt carelessly and it only happens to a certain someone. He didn't even realize that he's a flirt until one of his close friends, or co-workers pointed it out for him. Ten had always thought that he was just being playful and friendly towards her but apparently, his gestures and the tone of his voice suggested otherwise. Maybe they were right, maybe he was flirting with her.

If anything, being respectful is what Ten always prioritized. It doesn't matter what age you are to him, as long as you're a human being, you deserve respect and need to respect others. Different people have different ways approach and defferent persception on respect but Ten keeps his mind open. He knows exactly how to treat a girl, how to treat a special someone, he wouldn't touch them unless they let him, he doesn't cut off the older and doesn't retort or make snappy remarks towards people depending on the situation. Unless it's the Le Petit Lapin family, then he'd roast them with his sassy and sometimes snappy remarks until they become charred.

For Ten, insensitive and bluntness are a package. He can be mean with his words and not realizing it. Sometimes, when he's having too much fun, he tend to be careless with his words and eventually hurt someone with it. This happens when he's drunk as well. He sometimes doesn't know when to draw the line with his jokes and can be very insensitive towards a certain situation. His bluntness is somthing that he does on purpose, sometimes just for the sake of roasting a person for real or to make a person realize that there are things that needed to be fixed. When he doesn't like something, he'll say it straight but this also depends on the person he's referring too. If he doesn't like the person, he won't sugarcoat his words but if it's some who is close to him, he'll have to think about it a thousand times on how to tell them without hurting their feelings.

He is rarely impulsive but when he is, it's better to be stay away from him because it only means that he's angry and Ten is rarely angry. When this happens, he doesn't think straight and only have a one track mind. The last time this happened, Ten got into a fight with one of his classmates for disrespecting the teacher. He punched the boy in the face and was suspended from classes for a week. That was the only week that Ten was not late to work. He is usually patient and keep his emotions in check but when he lost it, just don't expect for him to be the same friendly Ten for a while.

As a person who is always hard on himself, tend always carrying a heavy load alone. He rarely shares what is worrying him and prefer to keep it to himself. He faces his broken heart alone and shrug it off as if it was nothing when it was everything. He likes to play it cool, pretend that he was definitely fine when he is clearly not. That is Ten. He told himself that he should be kinder to himself and stop being so hard but it isn't something that can change overnight. He needs assurance and encouragement from someone. Just a little push and a little act of kindness.

Background:

Chittaphon Leechairyakul is obviously isn't a Korean name. That's because he's not. He moved from Bangkok, Thailand about six years ago with his family to Seoul, because his father got transferred to an Internation Service Department in a big corporate company. His family is well-off and he hand't any problem financially.

Ten had trouble in adapting to his new environment. He wasn't used to the cold weather, wasn't used to the four season and he had a hard time trying to make friends because of the language barriers and his cold demeanor didn't help as well. He spent most of his time at home, playing with his siblings or just wandering around the neighbourhood. He became friends with an old lady, who taught him basic and conversational Korean. It wasn't perfect but it was enough to make him feel motivated to try harder at school.

The next day, when he got to school he did his best trying to communicate with his classmates. With all the grammatically wrong Korean and a lot of body gestures. Speaking English was a problem too since they couldn't understand them well but Ten's classmate saw the effort of him trying to befriend them so they softened up and eventually they became friends. They found out that despite his cold looks, Ten is actually very much the opposite. While they taught him more of the Korean Language, Ten taught them more of English. In the end, the language barrier was no longer there.

After high school, he decided to take up Performing Arts at a university. It wasn't a surprise to his family members and friends as they had seen him talking about it passionately and they were fully supporting of him and his dreams.

Since his family isn't financially unstable, there was no reason for Ten to have a part time job. But he did it anyway right after he moved out of his parents' house. He was already in his 20's and he couldn't afford to keep on living and depending on his parents so he got himself a job and a home. It isn't anything as spacious as his old home but it was enough for him to make do. And ever since a certain someone came in to work at Le Petit Lapin, Ten was glad he got a place of his own.

First Meeting?:

Eunrin was originally a day shift busser before she started her new semester. The girl had worked there for 6 months during her previous semester but with the new schedule for the new semester, she realized she might have reschedule her job and requested for the night shift instead. Which was what she did.
Being the busser, Eunrin is always keeping track on who comes and go into the cafe, it's a habit she'd developed while working there. On her last day as the day shift busser, she noticed one of the customer slipped into the back of the cafe, towards the "staff only" area. Quickly, she approached him to tell him that the area is prohibhited for customers, but when he turned to face her, he had such a sharp look in his eyes that Eunrin was suddenly lost for words.
"He's cold." She thought. His stare was cold and for a moment, Eunrin felt exposed. It was as if he was staring into her soul.
The two of them stared at each other for a brief moment while Eunrin was trying to compose herself. He tilted his head to the side and lifted his brows, eyes still locking on her, motioning her to speak up. Before Eunrin could force the word out, they were interrupted by Jaxlyn, the store owner.

"This is unusual, you're early, Ten. You got another hour before your shift starts."
"I was in the area and didn't have anything to do." He shrugged and bowed to the two ladies in front of him before entering the staffs' room.

Confused, Eunrin asked Jaxlyn if he worked there and beautiful lady nodded her head with a chuckle.
"He's always late," Jaxlynn blew a raspberry. "His partner is always late too but they're both are too good at their work for me to fire. Is it just me or good baristas are always late? Do they meditate or something before coming to work?"

As soon as her shift ended, Eunrin went inside the staffs' room to pack her things up and there, she found Ten with his head on the table, sleeping soundly. She did her best not to make a single noise and tiptoed around. While taking off her apron, a voice huskily spoke.
"You don't have to be so careful around me."
She looked back and found Ten lazily getting up from where he was. He looked a bit drowsy and yawned as he stretched his arms. Eunrin tried to pay attention to what she was doing but it was all in vain when Ten was standing beside her. opening his locker. She could only watch him in silence, unsure of what to say.

"I'm Chittaphon Leechaiyakul but you can call me Ten." There was a hint of playfulness in his voice.
Slightly taken aback by the sudden friendliness, she blinked at him.
"Ahh, I know. I must have looked like I was about to pick a fight with you just now." he whined. "They say I look murderous when I'm sleepy or tired."
"I'm Park Eunrin."
Eunrin laughed at how whiny he got. On the outside, he looked rather cold but apparently he was the very opposite of it. "Day shift to night shift busser."
Ten raised his brows in questions. "You're moving to the night shift? When?"
"Tomorrow."

"That's great then! Uhm, I guess I see you tomorrow?"
"Absolutely."
"Nice meeting you, co-worker."
He winked.

Interactions:

Eunrin and Ten are like best friends. They understand each other perfectly and it is as if they could read each other minds as well. There are times when they didn't have to communicate to know what one another was feeling and they tolerated each other more than they tolerated other people. Ten is always playful towards others but he is playful and flirty when it comes to Eunrin. He didn't do this on purpose, it is not something that he notices until another co-workers pointed it out to him. They also pointed out how he is often observant and more protective when it comes to Eunrin. Ten just shrugged it off as "That's because she's my noona." but really deep down, he's starting to doubt that. When one is feeling down, it's pretty much obvious to the other person. Even if Ten doesn't show that he is sad or have something on his mind, Eunrin would always be able to tell something was going on with him. When Eunrin is in distraught, it was pretty much obvious to everybody but only Ten is able to get through her and he knows exactly what to say or what to do to cheer her up, much like how Eunrin knows what to do when he is upset about something too. Sometimes, the two just sit in silence and simply be there for each other and that was enough.

For a while, Eunrin had only looked at Ten as just a friend and nothing more because she had eyes on someone else. Ten, even though he knew he had fallen for Eunrin, he never forced his feelings towards her but rather keep it quiet and respect her choices. He never confessed to her either when she was in love with someone else because he didn't want to make her feel guilty.

"Noona, feed me."
"Nope, this is mine"

There was no way for Eunrin to resist him. Even if she said no, she would always give in to him. Which Ten knows to take advantage of. He never asked for anything inappropriate but he likes to a lot and see her reactions because Eunrin, always gives out the best reaction to him. He, in return would always feed Eunrin without the girl asking for it. For example, when they were doing a tasting for the new menu, he would lift his spoon to and Eunrin, without looking or whatsoever would eat it. Which sometimes made it more easy for Ten to prank her by feeding her some wasabi without her noticing. Eunrin would also finishes the fruits for Ten since he doesn't like them at all and Ten, would always observe when Eunrin eat so that she doesn't have chicken since she's allergic to it. If there's chicken, he'll be the one to eat it for her. When she accidentally had one, he made sure that Eunrin have her med right away.

"I don't care who you are, you apologize to him!"
"It's fine noona,"

They take care of each other more than they realize. It's no secret that the Le Petit Lapin's workers treat each other like family, but these two can sometimes be very protective over one another. There was a day when a customer was being rude to the baristas and Eunrin stepped in when he started to insult Ten. The customer claimed that the coffee he made tasted weird, which Eunrin gave it a sip to check. She wasn't a fan of coffee but she knew what it exactly taste like, frowning at the customer's claim, she asked him when he meant by weird. When he was unable to answer her, she proceeded with asking for him to apologize to the barista. The customer threw a fit and went on raging about how customers are always right. "You are an adult, you could have told him nicely instead of insulting him. We don't welcome anyone who is rude in here, please leave, sir." Eunrin knew she was going to get into a lot of trouble by telling a customer to bugger off, it isn't in her authority but Le Petit Lapin is like her second family, she can't stand seeing anyone, especially Ten being humiliated like this.
"And don't come back." The calm voice of their store owner said from behind as the lady casually leaned against the wall, not batting a single eyelashes at the rude customer.

"Oh--I'm sorry noona!"
"Look awayyyy!"

Ten had once walked into the staffs' room while Eunrin was changing. The door was originally locked but Ten thought nobody was there yet so he grabbed the extra key and twisted it open. He wasn't expecting to see Eunrin without any top on. Immediately he walked out of the room, closed the door behind him with a slam and slumped against it. His ears turned red and his heart beat fast as he buried his face in his palm. Then he tumbled backwards when the door abruptly opened, revealing a red face Eunrin. "We're never going to talk about this." Ten said immediately, trying to assure Eunrin that he will not bring this up again. "Unless you want to." He added with that cheeky grin of his and winked. The girl couldn't help but to laugh.

"Am I... am I a problem?"
"What? What makes you say that noona?"

On that one particular day, Eunrin got into shift with a sad face. She looked as if she was in a daze most of the time and even when she smiled, it wasn't her usual ear-to-ear kind of smile and what surprised Ten even more was that she turned down the extra cake they got. "You know you're not fooling me with that smile, noona." Ten said when it was just the two of them cleaning up. Ten was cleaning his station while Eunrin was just checking around the cafe, seeing if there was more to do. When Eunrin didn't respond to him, Ten cleared his throat, a little louder that Eunrin, eventually snapped out of her daze. "Something's bother you. I want you to talk to me about it." He stopped wiping his station and just stared at her. It was the first time ever that Eunrin had ever saw Ten being so serious about something and Ten could assure her that it was not going to be the last. "Am I...am I a problem?" Her voice was low but loud enough for Ten to hear from where he was standing. Honestly speaking, he was taken aback by her question. "What? What makes you say that noona?" There was a pause between them, then realization hit him. "Did someone calls you a problem noona?! What the f- No, noona" now he was striding towards her and grabbed her by the shoulders. "Listen to me and listen to me, carefully..." he spoke gently, looking at Eunrin who refused to look at him. He tilted her chin and made her look at him in the eyes. A smile spread across his lips and he spoke. "You're not a problem, you could never be a problem."
"You're only saying that because you're close to me."
"I'm saying this because I know you're not a problem and I know you like the back of my hand. We're very close noona. You can be pretty clumsy, you can be careless at times too but you are never, I repeat, never a problem. If anything, noona, you've done so much and it's just that people likes to focus on the negative rather than the good things."
"You're so good with your words."
Eunrin's lips curled up.
"Anything for you." He looked thoughtful for a moment. "In return, do you think you could make me that bimbap that you brought two days ago?"

"Look at me, noona... just once look at me."
At that moment, for once Ten felt like his heart was being gripped and ripped out of his body. He didn't know what to do when it comes to love and relationship. He never had a girlfriend before. Crushes? Yes but most of the time he never made the effort but Eunrin was in front of him every single day and he didn't know how to handle the situation when he found her crying in a corner just a few blocks away from the cafe. "Look at me, noona... just once, look at me..." he wanted to say those words loudly to her, to make her see that the person she was in love with would never look at her, would never see her like he did, would never listen to her like he did and would never, love her like him. "I feel like crap." Eunrin sobbed, wiping her tears with her sleeves. Quietly, Ten crouched down beside her and basically shot deathly glares at anyone who look at Eunrin at the moment. "Then feel like crap, noona. Embrace those emotions and let them go. Cry until you're tired of crying and then pick yourself up." He wrapped an arm around Eunrin and pulled her closer while she sobbed quietly into his shirt, wetting them but at that moment, Ten didn't mind. All he knew was his heart ache.

After they got together, Ten became more prone towards touching Eunrin. It wasn't anything inapproprite but he likes to purposely brush his hands against hers whenever she hands him something. Stealing glances and playful winks and flying kisses from him to her just to see Eunrin's blushing so hard that she had to hide her face with a tray she was holding. He would hug her secretly at any chance he got and continue with his work "I'm fully recharged, Ten out of Ten". Eunrin would hold his hand if they were walking home together and even slid her hands under his arms, and rest her head on his shoulder as they walk. She likes to play with his hair a lot. He likes it even more when Eunrin rest her hand on his thigh, he said it feels very warm and cozy and he likes it a lot. They aren't afraid to tell and remind each other how much they meant to one another. Eunrin likes to kiss Ten's whole face because she can and Ten do the same too because when Eunrin do that, he feels happy and he wants Eunrin to feel the same way too. He always backhugs her because he knows Eunrin really likes it. (The girl always squeal whenever protagonists in movies or dramas do that, it doesn't take a CSI for Ten to find out about that.)

Realization:

Ten:

"Oh my gosh, Ten! What happened?!"
"I-I got mugged."

It was the only time that Ten didn't turned up into his shift. His co-workers thought that he might just be late but in the end, he didn't even come. Jaxlyn tried calling him a few times but there was no answer so she decided to ask him tomorrow when he came to work. Eunrin didn't get any text messages from him too which was unusual. Ten always texted in the Le Petit Lapin's messeger group to tell if he can't come in for work but not this time. It was just quiet. Eunrin thought, perhaps he was busy with something important. Imagine her shock when she found him at the back on the cafe, slumping against the back when she was taking out the trash.
"Oh my gosh, Ten! What happened?!" She took in the sight of him with bruises on his face, clothes slightly torn and a cut missed his lips just by an inch.
"I got mugged."
Carefully, she slung his arm around her neck and helped him stand a little. She supported him by wrapping her other arm around his waist and the two of them walked into the cafe through the back door and into the staff room.
"Where are the others?" He asked as Eunrin set him down slowly, and gently on the chair at the table.
"Only Jaxlynn in front. She's waiting for me to close up." She looked at Ten's face closely and tilted his head gently. "Ah, you look terrible."
"But still as handsome, don't you think? Doesn't this makes me look more manly?"
He tried to joke, not wanting Eunrin to worry more.
Just then, the door opened and Jaxlyn almost dropped her bag at the sight of Ten.
"Who beat you up like this?!"
"He got mugged-- where's the safety kit, unnie?"
"Dear Lord, we need to go to the police station and report this. What did they take?"
"Just cash."
Ten replied, trying not to wince when Jaxlyn touched his wound while Eunrin went through the drawers in the room, looking for the safety kit.
"Top drawer my dear," Jaxlynn said to Eunrin as she dialed a number in her phone. "I'll be in the front okay? You patch him up first. Are you hurt anywhere else? Do we need to go to the hospital?"
Ten shook his head weakly and sighed. "It's alright. They just hit my handsome face and kicked me down. Maybe throw a few punches as well." He shrugged.
"This isn't funny, Ten." Eunrin pulled a chair in front of him and sat down.
Jaxlynn exited the staff room and seemed to be talking to someone on her phone, she sounded concern and Ten swore he could hear her struggling to say his real name. Was she reporting this to the police?
The girl in front of him only paid attention to him. She carefully wiped the blood and dirt off Ten's face with a wet towel, her fingertips gently held his face and his cheeks. For a moment, she looked like she was about to cry as she applied the q-tip on his wounds.
"Are you crying, noona?" Ten pulled away, blinking.
Eunrin just sniffed and continued to apply the q-tip. "I'm so glad that it's not worse than this."
"You're worried about me, huh?"
He smiled a little but flinched when the skin tore at his wound.
"Stay still, please. Let me patch you up a little." Despite the fact that tears were pooling in her eyes, Eunrin managed not to let a single one of them flowed down to her cheeks. Ten had enough to deal with and he was tired, he should be dealing with a crybaby like her.

Roughly about 5 minutes later, Jaxlynn walked in with a couple of officers. She insisted that they reported this and Ten gave the police officers his statements. He told them where it happened, the time and how he got here. He described how the muggers look like and what they were wearing as well as told them what he lost. The policemen told the three of them that they will make rounds within the area to look for these assaulters.

After closing up for real, Jaxlynn decided to send two of her employers home. Ten lived in a rental house on the second floor and with his wounds and aching body, Eunrin offered to send him up to his house while Jaxlynn waited in the car. The both of them almost tripped when Ten lost his balance upon entering his home. It wasn't big but it wasn't small either, the apartment. Seeing how Ten was struggling to even walk, Eunrin gave her boss a call and told her that she will keep Ten company for the night. That night, Eunrin helped him out a lot from setting the bath for him, taking his shirt off for him (with a lot of yelling due A. Ten unable to lift his arms properly because of the excrutiating aching. B. Eunrin kept her eyes closed all the time.) After everything was settled, Eunrin helped him into bed and stayed in the living room. Ten told her that she could just sleep with him on the bed but Eunrin just shook her head, claiming that she got assignments to finish and submit the next day.
Sometime around after midnight, Ten woke up and walked out into the living room, heading for the kitchen. His body felt a bit better after the rest and sleep. That was when he saw Eunrin sleeping on his couch with her laptop on her lap and her sketches scattered on the table in front of the couch. He felt bad for letting the girl sleep there instead on his bed. Quietly, he walked over to Eunrin and put her laptop away and stacked her sketches neatly on the table. Gently, he slipped his hands underneath her neck and knees and with all his might despite the still aching body, he carried her to his bed and set her down gently. He pulled the blanket over her and her head.
"I was so worried..." she suddenly murmured in her sleep.
Ten knelt down in fron of her, trying to hear what she said clearly. As if she could hear his mind, the girl murmured again, "I'm glad you're alright...chitta..ph.." and a tear, escaped from her eye.
Time stilled.
His heart beat faster.
And that was when it dawned on Ten that he had been in love with this girl all along.

Eunrin:

None yet as she is still very much in love with Dongwook at this moment so I'm going to leave this up to you, author-nim ^^ It would be fun to see how you make her realize her feelings towards Ten.

Conclusion:

With Ten have zero experiences in love and relationships and with Eunrin had eyes on someone else, it did seem impossible. Despite Eunrin's affection were on someone else, Ten never gave up on making the girl happy. He is genuinely happy when she is and had been supporting her through ups and downs even if she was blind about it. This went on for a while until Eunrin herself realized that her feelings for Ten was stronger. She had no idea how to handle this because she didn't want to ruin their friendship and she didn't know if Ten likes her back despite the fact the boy was being pretty obvious about it.

The two of them went on as friends for a while, unable to confess their feelings a) Ten thought she's still in love with Dongwook and he couldn't blame her because Dongwook does seem like a very capable man with a stable career. b) Eunrin isn't sure about Ten's feelings towards her.

They do got together eventually but both were very concious with their self. Ten feel like he had to step up because he is the man in the relationship and Eunrin felt slightly embarassed that she older than him and constantly thought that Ten should date someone younger than him or his own peers. Both assured each other from time to time that it was fine and that they chose each other to be with, to stand side by side with and not with someone else.

Even if Eunrin never thought that far yet, Ten is already determined to be more than he is today for her. So that one day, perhaps he would be able to ask for her hand in marriage because when he dates, he doesn't date for fun.

but she actually really matches the june girl criteria well, there would just have to be a few changes regarding her talent claims and subtracting things that jan. girl has that june girl doesn't.
