Jiyoon looks like Arin of Oh My Girl between Secret Garden and SSFWL eras. She is of average height with a cute/innocent face that she likes to play up sometimes, depending on the situation. She has long straight hair with bangs until she dyed it from a light brown color to black. After the color change, she changed her hairstyle from bangs to no bangs. (here)  She has a toned body which she is proud of but likes to wear cute or flattering outfits as everyday wear. Although you don't get to see her ears a lot unless she picks up her hair, Jiyoon jas double piercings on both her ears and wants to get an orbital piercing soon.

Jiyoon has been known to be confident about herself. She walks with a subtle confidence that she is proud from years of performing in public and practice. When it comes to performances, she is a very confident person. But when it comes to herself as a person, she is insecure. She feels like she could be better and understands why she wasn't atrainee for the longest time. Even when she feels the most confident to others, Jiyoon is doubting herself internally from talent wise to her visuals as well. Because of this, she makes sure to keep up with her skin care routine and to wear at least foundation if she goes out. one to keep up with her appearance and 2nd for herself. She feels calm and relaxed when doing her routine and same goes for her foundation.

Most of her friends would say that Jiyoon is a sweetheart/sweet person. She likes to do things for her friends or family members. She's done things from making sure they are alright to making cookies or goodies for others as a thank you for helping her out. It was how she has been since a young age. She likes to be sweet and caring to her close friends and family.

jiyoon likes to keep busy if she has down time. It can be something from working out, watching or binge watching a show to writing/composing music to baking for fun. She likes to keep busy although she likes how she can consider sleeping or resting as keeping busy :) Although she doesn't seem it, Jiyoon is wise for her age according to others. Since she has wanted something like this as her dream, she had to learn to overcome obsticales as well some of her own inner demons that would tend to come out as she would audition. She keeps everything that has happened in her head as a lesson and tries to grow with each hardship that is presented.

Although Jiyoon can take critisizm and harsh words well, she is a stubborn person at other things. She won't back down on a playful argument with others and will stand her ground with things she likes. She once kept on defending that boneless chicken wings is not a chicken nugget...she still will defend it. IT's something she is working on and getting better at but she is still stubborn when it comes to certain things.

jiyoon is a dreamer. She likes to envison things from where she wants to be in life to even her end goal at times. She always believed that any dream was possible so if she ever achieved a dream she had, she would think of another and another. She wants to be able to reach those dreams and be able to say i did that and smile a sincere smile at the end.

Although Jiyoon can be confident, she is a reserved individual. She does join in on conversations but if it's with a large group, she would only talk if she was spoken to or had some input or words about certain topics. When she is with others who she's known for a longer time though, she is loud and cute. She has a cute aura around her (as said from her friends).It doesn't help either that she loves cute things which makes her laugh when her friends say "how are you as cute as this stuffed animal?"

Jiyoon is a vain girl, once in awhile. She likes to make sure her appearance is presentable of course. She likes to make sure her hair is inthe right spot, her make up is spot on and hopes that she looks nice in whatever outfit she wears. She can go a bit overboard sometimes though. She spends more time than others looking in the mirror or fixing her appearance if something is amiss. She does feel sorry about ti later on but in the moment, it's important to her.  Although she can be vain sometimes, she is a shy girl when you first meet her. It goes away when she is with friends or needs to perform but once off stage or with others she doesn't know, she becomes shy and blushes if she is complimented too much. It's another reason why others think she is cute as well.

 Jiyoon was born on a Saturday, 8 pm to be exact in Busan, South Korea. Her parents, who were restaurant owners, were nothing but estatic to say the least. To her parents, she was the apple of their eye even before she was born. They were always hoping that they would have a girl and when they found out the gender during pregnancy, they couldn't be  more thrilled. They gave Jiyoon all the love and attention that you could give to someone....maybe too much. Whatever she wanted to do or try out, her parents just encouraged her and helped her in whatever she wanted to do. Since her immediate family was sort of well off (money wise), jiyoon would always be told yes to. She never heard the words no for quite some time.

She as a kid would listen to her parents music, from trot to Fin.KL songs. It wasn't till she was 7 years old that she fell in love with SS501 and TVXQ. She saw them have fun on stage and instantly dreamt of doing that one day as well. She was naive and innocent thinking that all she needed to do was sing on stage and have fun to make it big but it was what she wanted and once she set a goal for herself, she followed through. 

Throughout her middle school and beginning years of high school year, she became known as the girl who sang everywhere. She'd go to choir or music classes even on her periods off and practice and practice every song she could. She'd even go out of town to places closer to seoul or in subway stations and begin busking there. She'd perform for a bit then head out home or to meet with friends. She wanted to get enough praactice in possible before she went to auditions. She went during her last year of middle school to audition for Starship entertainment.  

She went in nervous since there was a long wait for their numbers to be called in. While waiting, she began drinking some tea that she took before every audition since it was meant to help your throat. Once her number was called in, she did her revised audition routine she pick specifically for this day. She passed to round 2 and kept her head up, reminding herself she wasn't out of the woods yet so not to get cocky. It wasn't until the words "Congradulations! You're officially a trainee in Starship." was said that she was relieved. She said thank you with a smile on her face and tears in her eyes as she left the room and broke down in the lobby. Her dream was that much closer now.

Although Jiyoon and Soyou are a good few years apart, Jiyoon always looked up to her. Although their vocal tones and range were different, She would be going to Soyou to see if she did certain parts right after Soyu heard her practicing one day for the monthly evaluations. She was just like the trainers at the company but whenever she felt like she needed an extra push, Soyou would help her reach her goals.  She is one of her mentors whom she considers to be a parental figure in the future 

❁ Yoo Seungwoo / 22 / singer / best guy friend and secret crush
Seungwoo and Jiyoon met at previous auditions from tv shows to agancies. Since their first meeting, they were able to talk as if they had been friends forever. They are and have always been able to talk about anything towards each other. They ended up keeping in touch with one another often despite their busy schedules and always make time for a day to hang out with one another.  They are best friends

❁ Lee Sandeul (Lee Junghwan) / 27 / singer / other best guy friend and celebrity crush
Jiyoon met Sandeul by sheer luck. Seungwoo introduced her to him when the two guys were doing a song together. Since she is a big fan of him vocally and personality wise, she was happy to be able to talk to him. After the meeting, her, seungwoo and sandeul would keep in contact and eventually became like the three musketeers (at least in group chats or outings when possible with their busy schedules.) She soon started hanging out with him one on one and eventually became close friends. 

❁ Jung Eunyi / 22 / starship trainee / friend/friendly rival? (notice me hun ^^) 
Although they aren't close, they talk and hang out often. The year difference makes her happy to be able to call her unnie. Eunyi was one of her first actual friends in the company who she didn't feel any animosity or envy towards. She felt like Eunyi wanted to honestly be her friend and she was happy about it. They help one another when they can but considering all the training and monthly evaluations, they won't be able to be close friends like Jiyoon hoped they could be unless they debut or the competition between them ends

Jiyoon and Yeojung met during one of Jiyoon's solo vocal practices. She wanted to make sure she sounded ready for the monthly evaluations coming up that  she stayed up and went a practice room in the company to practice as much as she could. Jiyoon began practicing a Taylor Swift song to see how it might fit with her current vocal tone. She practiced that song and didn't notice Yeojung open the door and listen to her singing. It wasn't till she saw someone in the mirror that she turned around with a confused face. Yeojung began the conversation and since that day, she began a friendship with yeojung. Yeojung was one of her first actual friends in the company who she didn't feel any animosity or envy towards. She felt like yeojung wanted to honestly be her friend and she was happy about it. She thought she was cute as she always asked for advice or just wanted to hang out that she started treating her like a cute little sister. 

❁ Boyfriend / varies / singers / friends/brothers
Besides Seungwoo, Jiyoon is friends with the members of Boyfriend...some more than others though. She treats most like brothers (hyunseong, youngmin and minwoo) but with Donghyun, Kwangmin and Jeongmin, they are some of her best friends. While the others (brothers) look out for her, her close friends like to play around with her and create mischief for fun. She sometimes joins in with them and giggles as her brothers lectures them about what they've done. She finds a nice balance within their group which when she is in a stressful situation, she usually heads to them and it helps her feel relaxed.

Karen and Jiyoon met a couple of times. It was hard not to seeing they had practices together on a daily basis and the fact Karen's hair color stood out. Jiyoon always wanted to talk to her and be her friend but Karen would only say hi or casual responses to questions before leaving or secluding herself until practice started again or the next class was happening. Jiyoon wanted to befriend her so as time went by, she would talk to her more and more (even if Karen didn't reply with more than one of two words at a time) and would make her little snacks to keep her strength up. The little gestures helped Karen become willing to open up to Jiyoon and they soon became great friends.

After getting into Starship, Jiyoon spent all her free time practicing and trying to better herself. Once school was out for the day, it was vocal training, dance, language or whatever class was scheduled.  Compared to before, her dancing improved to where she was able to dance along with others in sync. Her vocals had improved tremendously to the point she could hit notes she couldn't before. The only thing she couldn't be versatile at was rapping. She can do the normal rapping (following a track or rap with the track) but if she had to  make up a rap on the spot and make it flow, it wasn't the best. It was an improvement tho since she could write raps now and somewhat follow all the other trainees when practice  required it.(it did helps a bit that kwangmin was helping her with her rapping as well)

❁ vocal - 9/10 - she is like a hidden gem.  Others don't think she can sing since she looks how she does but when she sings, she proves them wrong.
❁  rap - 0/10 she can't rap for anything but she can rap to make others laugh since it just sounds funny and she doesn't know what to do.
❁ dance - 5/10 Jiyoon is average when it comes to dancing. She can make it her own and show a different side to her but compared to group dances with the trainees in the company, she can blend in well.
