appearance : minjee stands at 168cm and weighs around 53kg. she has big eyes, a long face and alluring lips. her thin figure is mainly due to how little she eats in a day. when she smiles, her eyes turn somewhat cresent shape and she just turns into a cute dork. 
style : her uni style is basically just how she dresses when she's out, casual. she throws on tops ranging from crop tops and sweaters of solid colors and pairs them up with her sweats or trackpants. she doesn't dress to impress so many people look down on her at first sight. however, minjee knows how to dress nicely when she needs to. france taught her style skills and she actual has an eye for good clothing. she has collections of dresses and jumpsuits that she's ready to whip out when she needs to. makeup wise, she likes to keep it simple and bright. one of the noticeable must have is her red lip tint. she's suppose to wear spectacles for her vision but prefers to use contacts - her glasses are kept close by just in case. her hair is always dyed into a light blonde color and she has never been seen with her natural hair color. 
aura and mannerisms : if you don't pay attention to minjee, she might just blend right into the walls. she's just a silent person who prefers to observe than be involved. she walks a fast pace since she's always running late and even when she's not, she's still going to walk fast. minjee doesn't really like meeting new people,,, well, she doesn't like socialising that much at all so it's a bit awkward for her at first to talk to others. she cracks her knuckles a lot too, a habit she does without much thought.

minjee is an attentive person who notices minor details and pays great attention to the things happening around her. it's a skill she's thankful for, making her able to catch her mistakes quickly or catch others from making mistakes. she's an honest person, so if you ask for her opinion - be ready for an honest answer, whether you like it or not. although she's known for her computing skills, she still remains humble about it and helps people around if they need any guidance. you can catch her giving out tips and easy steps to her classmates, juniors or even seniors who come to her for help. minjee is alo very responsible, she knows her job and how important it is so she takes the matter very seriously.

however, she's is quite insecure about herself. even though she's gotten praises from classmates and professors, she still doesn't think her skills are good enough. it's caused her to become the perfectionist she's been known for. minjee will go through tooth and nail to ensure everything - and i mean everything- is in perfect shape. she'll have people working hours on end, not caring how many all nighters they have to pull until she gets the result that she wants. unless her goal is reached, health, hygiene,  and other people become nonexistent. sometimes, she'll even take over other people's job just to make sure she knows she's getting what she wants. minjee doesn't hide the fact that she's kinda judgemental. she keeps most of those thoughts to herself but she's scanning you up and down to see how you display yourself as a person and she'll put that image she has of you in her mind forever. minjee is a very stubborn person too - it's not easy for her to back down once she puts her mind on something. if she thinks she's right then you'll have to work extra hard to prove her wrong.

history :
minjee was born in south korea but moved to france when she was barely a year old.  france was an... interesting childhood, to say the least. 

she grew up under he name fleur, translating to flower as that's what her mother dubbed her to be in their life. they were a small family, just her parents and herself and they were happy. her father worked under a tech company and naturally being the curious child she was, would often more than not have her father teach her some skills. she caught on quickly and even her parents were certain she would later on work for a tech company with her skills. 

but life was not easy for her. her father suddenly lost his job a few years before she ended high school and the family fell on tough times. her father bounced from job to job, her mother worked part-times and minjee was told to just focus on her studies so she would get a scholarship somewhere at the very least. 

minjee started to use her computing skills to gain some extra cash. she would hack into the school system, change some grades here and there, gets some test papers for specific classes and received good money. she was determined to change their lives around, even if this was all she could do.

she lied to her parents as she hands them the money - claiming that she managed to land a part-time job and that she was going to help them out with the bills. her parents were too busy to check if she was ever telling the truth, occupied with their own jobs they had to keep the family staying afloat.

after she graduates from high school, her family suddenly moves back to south korea. her father had gotten a job offering there and he promised they would live a better life. so, minjee packs up her bags and moves away from her hometown and into a different environment. 

but her father lies. 

he divorces her mother in a span of a few months after she was accepted into cheonha and now, minjee is frantic to find a part-time job so she could help out her single mother. 

she needed money for her new life in south korea and even as her mother claimed that they would be fine if only her mother worked, minjee didn't want her to carry the burden alone. 

as she's sitting down, she's scrolling through her phone as her friends' from france text her and ask if she could lend a hand at their grades. minjee wonders if this was the only way she could get the cash she needed - she wanted something to do with her expertise but it seemed everything was either too far from her or she was under-experienced.

it's not until one day, yejin comes to her after her class and immediately calls for her does she get the surprise of her life. the well-connected yejin came to minjee and offered her something that was hard for her to reject. it involved the one thing she was good at - coding - and plus, it came with a goo0d payment.  

current lifestyle : 

minjee's lifestyle is pretty mundane. she sleeps around 4 in the morning and wakes up at 8 before she's rushing to her class. after she finishes classes, she goes back to her small apartment and spends her hours studying. she makes sure to call her mother every day and asks how she's doing since they don't live together anymore. 

on days that she feels stuffy, minjee would go out to the arcade and spend some of her money on the claw machine or any racing simulators.

"any situation. depends on the item really." 

what does death mean to you?
"Death is just... death. it's inevitable and it will come to everyone. death is the end."

what's the difference between relatives and family?
"relatives are people who you share the same blood with while family is much more than that. it's the people you care about and would gladly put their life on the line for yours. as the saying goes, the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb."

does life require a purpose/goal?
"i think it does. it doesn't have to be a very big purpose. something as simple as wanting to live life to its fullest could be enough for someone."

do guns protect or kill people?
"it depends on the person pulling the trigger."

if you could go back in time and shoot hitler as a baby, would you do it?
"i wouldn't. as evil as the man was, without that history happening - things would be different now. things happen for a reason and i believe that history happened for a reason."

grades and more : since all Minjee does in her free time is study, she's one of the top students in her class. she studies a lot by herself and pays attention in class, jotting down notes and keeping her focus up. her grades need to be kept up high so that she doesn't lose her scholarship.  

school life : minjee's quite well known in her major and outside of it. her classmates wave to her if they bump into one another and sometimes they even strike up friendly conversation. the girl keeps a small circle of friends, not really having the energy to have a very big social group.


 

"hello! let's start the interview, how are you feel-
ing today?"
a sudden yawn comes by and i just nod my head, " a little tired but i'm ready to go."

"so, why do you need to make extra cash?"
"it's extra cash - who wouldn't want it?"

"and you don't want a normal part time job because?"
"because," i clear my throat, "every single place i applied for said i'm still 'under-experienced'. working with a lot of people is hard, those big companies make my head spin - it's suffocating. too many hands, spoil the broth so i guess working in a smaller group would be much more efficient. "

"so, you know i'm funding this... will you repay me for the starting costs?"
i just smile at her question, "if everything turns out well, sure why not?"

"hah, i'm joking, don't worry about that money! what can you bring to the group?"
"my brains," i point up to my head, "i know i'm not that much but i hope it's enough."

"what are your future dreams?"
"opening my own tech company," i raise an eyebrow at her, "wait - what does this have to do with the interview?"

"what's your biggest fear and the thing you like the most?"
"falling behind and money," although these questions don't make much sense, i just shrug and answer them anyways.
