Where are the writers?

The discussion board and the blog posts from writers on AFF are getting miniscule nowaday. I want to read some discussion on writing topics but seems like no writers want to start any discussion again? It's kind of sad to see considering that it was just one year ago that the place was so active in the discussion board. I left on a hiatus and came back to see emptiness. Seems like the fanfiction community in general is moving to a very devastating route with lack of communications even between writers.

Anyway, I hope all of you a good day and hope I'll get to see some great discussion again.

I don't like to talk about my writing with people I don't know so I just group message and dm my friends or take to our discord groups. I mostly talk original fiction and I'm paranoid about plagiarism (AFF is rife with it) so.... yeah.

I agree, it’s sad to see the emptiness. But it’s not exactly motivating when you don’t get a response so I get why that’s the direction. Other platforms seem more appealing than AFF. I’ll admit I’d rather post my fics solely on AO3 instead of cross posting but I’ll probably end up cross posting anyway.

Actually it depends on the fandom too
There are lot of army on here
A lot of Shawols have moved on to other platforms
