1. Minjae & Yongdoo: yeah, this is disgusting, they were the most popular ship in Wayve and it still chases Minjae and terrifies him. Fans even just come to him to talk about Yongdoo, not knowing what he all did to Minjae. This duo has a really dedicated fandom because Yongdoo was always extra clingy and sweet to minjae on broadcast.
2. Minjae & Haein: leader and maknae of wayve has always been a popular secondary ship, but nothing beats mindoo. Haein is the only one who still dares to mention minjae in wayve promotions, and whenever he like has to draw wayve or something, he always adds a little sixth boy in the corner. Minjae loves that Haein still mentions him and has some faith in him, but also feels guilty.
3. Minjae & Daekwan: Daekwan is probably the one Minjae interacts the most with outside of his sister (who he doesn't get shipped with except for some weirdos), Minjae doesn't care about ships in empire.
4. Minjae & Haruki: tall and small, the cold blizzard and the sunshine. This is mainly because Haruki is always close to Minjin, so he's also always around Minjae. People sometimes mistake Haru and Minjin's interactions for Haru and Minjae interactions, mainly the ones who're like 'oh yeah THE WHOLE GROUP IS GAY AND THIS IS FOR LESBIANS ONLY' and don't want straight ships. (God I hate those kind of people.)
5. Minjae & Yide: the only straight ship around Minjae. There is really not much of a base for this, it's just because Yide is the girl closest to his age except for his sister. He is a bit shy about this ship because he does think Yide is very pretty.

relationship Minjae tolerates Yujin. She's the leader, she's the mama, she's the one watching over the frost babies and the rest of this mess of a group. Minjae kind of feels bad for her because she has to watch those pricks. He kind of feels the urge to go talk to her and befriend her, but he isn't ready yet. She might find out about his story, wether it's through Minjae opening up or just her investigation on the case. She always thought something was fishy about the scandal.
on-camera They're quite friendly with each other on camera, which still surprises Yujin herself. Minjae is quite good at acting friendly with the other members on camera.

relationship Minjae doesn't want to be close to Damian (just like Minjin) but not because he just looks like a bad guy and is a party dude, but because he seems like he would be capable of being as manipulative as Yongdoo, so being around Damian terrifies him. This is another reason Minjin doesn't like Damian.
on-camera Minjae is good at acting friendly on camera, but he just can't bring himself to talk to Damian, it just is too triggering to him.

relationship Jooyeon disgusts Minjae. Her personality disgusts him. He ignores her just like Minjin does. He just really dislikes her. She's too obnoxious and arrogant. He might end up liking Damian when he reverts back to old minjae, but he'd probably never like Jooyeon. He really dislikes arrogant people with a passion. Those people are the worst, and abusive liars named Yongdoo.

relationship at first, minjae was terrified of daekwan, he just seemed scary. But their relationship improved a lot. Minjae was proven wrong. Daekwan is probably the only one he does actually talk to except for Minjin at the first moments. They're both silent, but they're kind of partners without talking. Minjae likes him. A lot, actually.

relationship Minjae actually didn't know Yide before they were suddenly in empire together. But now he actually quite likes Yide, but isn't really ready to talk to her. He gets suspiciously shy around her because he thinks she's very pretty. The prettiest person in empire. But there's no love... for now? Maybe?

relationship Minjae doesn't understand what makes Haru so... scared of him? Minjae is terrified of the thought that people are scared of him so it could trigger him. Haru might think otherwise, but Minjae actually really doesn't mind him. Okay, he does watch over him like a hawk to make sure he doesn't harm Minjin, but otherwise he's actually fine with Haru and would love to befriend him once he's mentally ready. Is it his resting face? Poor Minjae.

initial thoughts/opinion If she wasn't by his side, he might've not been part of this world anymore.
relationship Minjin is the one who kept Minjae on his feet. She was torn when she saw Minjae so broken, and it was the only time that the other trainees really saw her show any strong emotion. She cried twice. When Minjae was kicked out of Wayve, and when she saw Minjae again for the first time. Minjin depends on Minjae to be able to socialise, and Minjae depends on Minjin for literally everything. Minjin doesn't mind and patiently cares for her brother with lots of love and warmth, trying to melt his heart, while her own is frozen. She needs him to open up to be able to open up as well.
on-camera Minjae feels stressed without Minjin when cameras are pointing at him, so he's always looking for her on broadcast.

why is your stagename Eirwen?
> Eirwen means white snow in Welsh. Me and my sister wanted a matching stagename. My stagename is her stagename combined with the welsh word gwen, which means both white and blessed. I'm nothing without her. I'm blessed with her. That's basically why I picked this one.
you were formerly part of wayve. how do you feel about that, and how do you feel about debuting again?
> I'd rather not talk about Wayve. Sorry. But at least I'm with my sister now.
outside of your main subunits, which member or members of empire would you like to collaborate with, and why?
> Of course my sister. She's just my sister. Is that reason valid enough?
which male member and which female member are you closest to?
> Female is obviously my sister, she's my everything. For the males, I actually think it's Daekwan? He's a cool guy.
if you could collaborate with members of e2w and c2c, which members would you choose and why?
> For E2W, it's Jen. My sister probably said the same, but she reminds me of her. And for C2C, it's Taras, actually. I heard that he has traveled around a lot and I would love to hear his stories! (this is a moment that he brightens up, just a little ray of sunshine, and Jaeho's probably melting)
outside of your reveal, would you like to pursue solo promotions?
> No. I'd rather not. I'd rather not be alone. The idol world is dangerous.

preferred chores cleaning, it eases his mind. It's also time he can spend with Minjin, it might also be his first bonding moment with Yujin, who's a neat freak
chores they'd rather not touch anything related to jooyeon or damian, and anything that makes him have to be alone.
dorm life He sometimes hides when it gets too much, but he's afraid of being alone, so he usually stays in the common rooms with others around, and also hides in places where others are or come often. He usually observes or spends time with Minjin. The only moments he'll go into a bedroom is when he has to or wants to spend some private time with his sister (like how i explained in her app). He also spends lots of his time with Yumi and Serene, that's when he shows his most 'vulnerable' side, the warm side, the sunshine side. Just a bit, but it gives empire hope.
birthdays, holidays, all the days! he doesn't show it, but loves holidays. He also always makes sure to get a thoughtful present for the others, even for damian and jooyeon, because he enjoys getting them too. He tries his best to prevent minjin from ghosting their own birthday but sometimes it doesnt work.
the members can suggest any songs for their warmup songs. what song or songs does minjae suggest? the only group he's a big fan of is tvxq so no matter how old it is, he'll suggest catch me or keep your head down.
cereal before milk, or milk before cereal? he doesn't add milk to his cereal
haru, jason, or damian? Easy, Haru. Minjae only trusts Haru of those three (and only likes him too). But he's glad that they have Yujin to help keep the mess together.
idol relationships, past present and future Wayve from the past. Okay, their relationship is rocky right now, but the four members of Wayve that did nothing are noticing that something is going on, and will especially notice it when they see Minjae on broadcast, noticing his change of behavior. Something must be going on. Haein will be the first to come to Minjae to talk, and it might actually start Minjae's 'redemption arc' and road back to being the sunshine he used to be, and to bring Minjin back into the world as well. In the future, he could make lots of friends, that's if he opens up again. It will go slow to like make him trust them, but he'd be so social and popular amongst other idols.

I have now decided that he loves to hear travel stories so he'd probably love to go to taras. travel stories are probably one of the first things he might show happiness about at first, but ofc the frost kittens are the things that make him smile and laugh the most. protect him! ;;;;
