Poem I wrote with my best friend
I saw the apple on the tree
So naturally I approached
Dew calling my name
She’s thirsty
She’s
Thirsty.
I am reminded of my snake
Truly an ugly sinner
He said he would do anything
For me
But then he blamed
Me
In the embrace of her
I am reminded of my woman
Lilith
The taste of her
Sweet fruit
Still
On my
lips
She said
I would do anything for you
And so I asked
For her red apple
I was so
hungry
It satisfied me, she did
I need another bite
But God
He
Won’t
Let
Me.
