cheerful and kind: when nothing's wrong, lene will be a bright lady, beaming when she's smiling and being as nice as she could to other people. people that spend lots of time besides her tend to be attracted to her friendly nature. she can change lots of frowns to smiles by friendly words, compliments, laughs and lots of love. she is usually seen hugging someone or holding their hand protectively. after all the trouble she's been through with her former group, lene feels the duty to protect her younger groupmates and close friends, to make sure it doesn't happen to them. but once they trigger her, they won't be getting hugs and smiles for a while. but she's a very friendly person in general and takes great care of her friends greatly, babying most of them like a mommy. the company ceo actually asked her to be the leader originally, she would be ideal. lene thanked, but refused politely, because she didn't think she would be good at taking care of the group, so she's gotten the title of the auntie instead.

clever and active: lene is not only very friendly and loving, she's also really clever. she used to be a bit of a foolish girl, but after maturing and of course the issues with her former group (which will be explained later) she got way more clever. she now always overthinks her decisions, looking at all the different options, and rather than take one or the other path, she would pave her own in between which had the best of both. and it's also just the process of maturing that made her more clever. she's also an active person, mainly because she just has to be. dancing is her passion, and therefor she has to have a great, muscled body to keep up with her intensive and powerful style of dancing. she's also a very good runner.

strict and tough: her long idol and trainee life has hardened lene. no, she obviously didn't turn into a cold dictator, but she did grow very strict and tough. after the issue with one of her groupmates, it is really the thing that she doesn't want to see happen in this company as well. so to keep the group from collapsing and going down the drain like her former group did, lene is monitoring their behavior closely, watching all their movements and raising her children in a very strict way, but she means good. some people will get annoyed at this tough girl taking over the lead from time to time, but most let it slide because they know what she's been through. whenever lene sees a bad person (which she can strangely just sense), she tries to take control of them and raise them correctly. her current target is jaeyoung, but that kid is a tough one. some of the younger ones really admire her for her toughness and strong aura.

hot-headed and aggressive: do not trigger her, seriously. lene has not only matured a lot from the issues, but she became extra sensitive to things that might possibly trigger her. she was always a spicy girl, but it has really increased from a normal spicy ramen cup to the spiciest in the company. it's like she's a super flammable chemical compound, danger: super flammable and possible explosion. once she's triggered, lene won't be stopped easily. at first, when she was with her former group, she was seriously hard to handle, but after years she's regaining control, and she can generally keep herself from attacking the one she's mad at, unless they did something really terrible, then she'll go loose like a mama lion hunting for food. strategic, silent, and then the sudden, powerful attack. she often doesn't want to hurt the one she's mad at though, so she will ask everyone to take distance, run away to an empty room and yell at the walls in angry german, to make sure no one has to hear her language of sins. after a while she'll rejoin the group and then the groupmates know that warm hugs and words of comfort will help her best. but most importantly: a sincere apology.

desperate and greedy: this is basically what her whole former group feels, they want their success back that they once had, they want to proceed and crawl out of that slump. they tried for 5 years, and right when they made it, the path ended for lene. so now she took a new path in the hope to get the success she she desperately wants. she knows that anything might be taken from you at any moment so she tries to take as much as she can as long as she gets the chance, that makes her appear greedy. she doesn't deny that she can be really greedy, but she's not ashamed of it, saying she has to take every chance and positive thing she gets. she's very determined to make it with her new group.

Her on-camera persona is a glorified version of herself. A Mary sue version of herself, like how it should be. She is very good at hiding her flaws and seeming perfect.

background. lene was born as the oldest child in the dreamy town of trier in germany. a very pretty town, for a very pretty girl. she and her little sister spend their toddler years in germany, even though they were only a quarter german (or not at all). they were quite wealthy, and her korean-german dad worked for a big company. when little lene was 6 though, the company send her dad off to korea, so the family followed, to the country of their roots. their father started to work in seoul, and little lene who had barely spoken any korean before had to adjust all of a sudden, not only that, but her little sister was only 3 and didn't understand a thing. at first they were left out, but as the two sisters started to adjust to korea, their classmates started to let them in their group as well, and lene became very happy. at a young age, her friends exposed her to korean music. kpop, to be exact. first generation boy groups were going very strong, shinhwa was little lene's personal favourite. she had always dreamt of joining dance class, but discovering kpop really pulled her over the edge to start dance class when she was 8 years old. lene was happy, lene could dance, and she started dreaming of her own kpop career at a very young age already.

(just a heads up before you continue reading this so you won't be confused: lene's former group is basically t-ara with the same issues and songs, she is the 'replacement' of jiyeon. the thing is: we don't know how severe the situation with hwayoung was, but i just made it bad for the sake of the story, she might not be that bad in real life.)

in 2006, when lene was only 13 years old, her parents let her step foot into entertainment agencies to audition. after long years of whining and crying, lene could finally start working on her dream. her singing wasn't on point yet, but her dancing was really becoming super good, as she loved to dance to both kpop and hiphop songs, developing a strong, not-so-feminine dance style. several companies did reject little lene, but mnet media accepted her. she was the ideal person they were looking for, they were about to arrange a group together, and they needed a youthful girl that was an amazing dancer and a great visual. the girl they were looking for basically fell into their lap at the right moment, and lene was already training with her future group after only a week, lovely girls who took care of her greatly. after three years, two members, jiae and jiwon left right before debut, because of disagreements with the company. new members were added, and they were also very friendly. they were moved to a subsidiary company, core contents media (now mbk), and in 2009, 16-years old lene made her debut. the group consisted of qri, hyomin, eunjung, boram, soyeon and lene.

at debut, the group weren't really that popular, but they were steadily rising with every comeback. lene really loved being an idol, and took all the hardships like sasaengs and incredibly busy schedule as side problem, because she just loved being on stage. they had comeback after comeback, and were having a very busy life, but the girls all loved it. in 2010 though, everything changed when mbk decided to force a new member into the group, hwayoung. the girls were like 'fine, okay, we'll welcome her...' until they found out that hwayoung wasn't as likeable as they all expected. no, she was an absolute . they got their first wins in that december with the first comeback with hwayoung as member. it was lots of fun, but behind the stage it started to get worse and worse... hwayoung and her twin sister hyoyoung were really not who they seemed, and because lene was the youngest, they mostly took it out on her. hwayoung was a silent bully, she wasn't the one to harm people or like pour flour and eggs on someone to bully, but she was the silent behind the scenes bully. talking bad about lene behind her back, making it so that lene got the shortest end of the stick, but acting friendly to her, while constantly including passive aggressive jabs. she was clever, but the girls couldn't stand the new member, and they all took their distance from her, protecting their maknae. lene was scarred, and that scar translates into her extreme temper. she was only 17 when it started, so she was realy a vulnerable target.

when they released roly poly in 2011, it really marked their breakthrough, gaining several prestigious awards. the pain from the bullying got covered up quite well by all the joy from gaining success, but lene knew that one day, everything would be revealed and that their success would be over. they also started to promote in japan. after a year, in 2012, two new members were planned to be added again, and the group got worried, maybe more bullies like hwayoung? but no, dani never got to join them, only in the sub-unit, and areum turned out to be a very friendly little sister to lene. that summer marked the end of the success though, the scandal of the girls bullying hwayoung broke out, and they had to see how many fans left after being accused of bullying, while hwayoung was the absolute bully. hwayoung left, and while the fandom shrinked, the group calmed down again. the older members always said they would rather have it this way than be super succesful and still have hwayoung, but lene always felt guilty, if she had only endured it better that qri didn't send out that tweet that made it all escalate...

after this, their group became known as the group with the bully scandal that screwed up because they were es. they tried a lot to regain their popularity, releasing lots of songs, a sub-unit and more. eventually areum decided to leave as well. they were back to the original line-up, but so much had changed over the few years with different members. they would continue to keep trying to get back on stage. but then 2017 came, a year of change.

a former staff member revealed how hwayoung and hyoyoung's behavior were really bad, and many other staff followed, and finally, after five years, lene and her big sisters got justified. finally everyone knew hwayoung was the bully, and the girls took their distance to protect themselves. but their contracts were ending. the first ones to leave were soyeon and lene. they weren't able to join the group's last comeback because they decided to leave mbk, but with that last comeback, their group managed to get one last win. now they were finally justified, they were separated. it made lene feel lots of things and it was a very confusing time for her. but she had to move on, she had been hungry for a new challenge for a long time, and solo songs didn't statisfy her anymore. after discussions with the group, she decided to leave them, not officially, she's still really close with them, but she wanted to do something new. she had matured and grown in her group, and now it was time to move on. but her idol dream didn't die yet, she loved being in a group. that's when she decided, she was going to take some good rest, go on a far holiday on her own to travel through europe and two months after she left mbk entertainment, she was standing there, in predisposed media's audition room, with all the staff members that judged her with their jaws dropped. of course they would accept her, but why did she leave that success behind to join a new company? it's because she knew noah, he had produced some of their songs. She knew about his plans and wanted to help him out with getting #exposed out there. she was on the throne once, and she will definitely be on the throne again.

— lene was immediately put in a possible debut group when she joined mnet media. she was the youngest and therefor she got babied and helped out a lot. while her singing remained pretty average over the years, her dancing was always her forte. some trainers loved her dance style, others always said she wasn't feminine enough. when lene was young, she was able to train from early in the morning until midnight with only food and toilet breaks, but she's getting older so the lack of sleep is really taking a toll on her. while she used to be helped out a lot and protected when training with her former group, but now she's the one passing it on to the others. she's very strict about her babies' training schedule while she sometimes has to disobey her own because of her age. the black holes in dancing of the group will get extra dancing lessons from her, while she still gets extra vocal lessons in an attempt to still improve it somehow.

— they are still active, but have just left their company, mbk entertainment. lene was the main dancer, visual, vocalist and maknae of the group, later on she'd acquire a rap position as well, being only 16 when they debuted in 2009. she left the group and company after her contract ended in early 2017. but lene didn't want her kpop idol adventure to end there, and wanted a new challenge, hence why she joined a small, new company only two months after she left the group. she had the chance to reunite with them after they left mbk, but lene wanted to try something different, her whole youth was spend in t-ara, so she thought it was time to try something new
