— Yurina has long, straight jet black hair and straight, dark eyebrows. She has a thin nose, pale pink lips, and a pointed chin. Her dark brown eyes are large and and emphasized by her double eyelids. She has a small, willowy frame and extremely pale, almost white, skin that is free of any blemishes except for the Dark Mark that is burned into her upper right arm.

STYLE :

— Yurina usually wears a black dress and a ribbon or jewel choker around her neck. Her makeup is relatively simple, because she believes she is already beautiful without needing to cake her face. However, on special occasions, she applies dark eyeshadow and thick winged eyeliner to make herself look more bold yet classy. She always wears high heels and jewel bracelets to accessorize her outfit. When the weather is colder, she wears a knit poncho on top for warmth.

Yurina is quite snarky and has a smart mouth on her. When she was younger, she was forced to restrain herself from responding out loud to her parents and other elders, since it was seen as talking back which was considered rude and improper. This was especially hard to do because of Yurina's headstrong nature and there were many times when she had the urge to throw caution to the wind and say what was on her mind, notwithstanding if her thoughts and opinions were appropriate. Due to restricting herself so much whenever she was in her parents' presence, Yurina greatly enjoyed making snide comments when talking to the family's house-elves, who obediently accepted the verbal beatings. Nowadays, she speaks freely and refuses to silence herself after years of self-censoring under her strict parents.

Prolonged solitude has also made Yurina extremely independent and quite wary of others. She does not trust strangers easily and guards her heart with walls of steel that are virtually insurmountable. One would have to be notably inspiring and life-changing in order for Yurina to lower these walls enough to give that person a chance to worm into her good graces. Otherwise, she is content with doing things on her own and she dislikes being patronized, especially because it reminds her of when she was still living with her parents and she knows that she is completely capable of fending for herself. Yurina always puts herself first, no matter what.

Although she prefers to work alone, Yurina also recognizes that using others is sometimes the more efficient and beneficial option. She is very sly, and she knows how to lead people on with empty promises and flowery statements. Coupled with her mesmerizing beauty and sophisticated aura, Yurina can make people melt like putty in her hands, especially lonely and lustful men. When she wants to capture other people's attention, she carries herself with eye-striking elegance and confidence. And Yurina knows exactly what to say to make someone feel special and important, because these are the words that she desperately wished to hear from her parents when she was younger and sought their approval.

Yurina knows that she is a very gifted witch, so she is not shy about flaunting her abilities. She looks down on most people, particularly those who naively try to challenge her and think they can best her, because she places herself on a pedestal that others only wish they could reach. Yurina's arrogance continually feeds her already large and still growing ego, and she feels a significant degree of satisfaction after she wholly crushes someone else's hopes and dreams with her powerful magic. She is just as ruthless as the loveless childhood that she experienced during her most formative years. There is no room for pity in Yurina's heart, especially not for weaklings.

Yurina has a cynical outlook on life as well, especially because she still feels deeply wronged by her parents, her school, and her country. To her, the world is not filled with sunshine and rainbows that light up everyone's day; there is only the cruel reality that the fittest, most powerful will be the sole survivors. Those who hesitate and relent their opportunities to others will eventually find themselves stuck on the bottom rung of the ladder forever while proactive people like herself race to the top. Since the justice system is flawed, Yurina sees no reason to adhere to the rules if they do not serve her purpose and she strongly believes that other people also live the same way, because an inherently good person does not actually exist in her eyes. Humans are innately selfish and Yurina embraces that knowledge with open arms.

BACKGROUND : Yurina was born in Tokyo, Japan, on May 26, 1972, into the Noble House of Nakayashi with ties to the Noble House of Yamaa through her mother. She carried the honor and responsibility of descending from two esteemed Japanese Pureblood lines, and was brought up to be the perfect child from day one. Her parents completely planned out the future she was to fulfill and they hired the best private tutors in the country to ensure that their daughter was getting the most extensive education possible. Because they were also busy with their own illustrious careers as Department Heads in the Japanese Ministry of Magic, Yurina was mostly watched over by the family house-elves and she was discouraged from enjoying anything that might be detrimental to her eventual success. Thus, as a child, Yurina was solely focused on becoming powerful in order to make her parents proud.

When she turned seven years old, Yurina received her letter to Mahoutokoro School of Magic and became a day student at the Japanese wizarding school. While she had always been very gifted in magic from a very young age, Yurina's abilities grew exponentially after she began attending Mahoutokoro, since she was also interacting with wizards and witches around her age. She now had others to compare with, and she thrived on besting her peers in classwork and exams. After returning home from school each day, her tutors would be waiting to continue her education and Yurina soon became one of the top students in her year.

After she turned eleven years old, Yurina began boarding at Mahoutokoro with the rest of her classmates and she was no longer tutored due to living away from home for most of the year. The lack of supervision administered by her parents was very liberating for Yurina and she thoroughly enjoyed being at school where she could hone her magical abilities however she wanted to. This led Yurina to study all kinds of magic by herself, regardless if the spells were forbidden or not. The more magic she learned, the more powerful she would become. The more powerful she was, the more successful she would become. Once she was successful, her parents would finally have to acknowledge her as their equal.

As a fifteen-year-old, Yurina found herself enchanted with the concept of Dark Magic. She only saw it as a source of power, not as the evil it was portrayed to be in school. To her, all magic was worth learning, whether it was Dark or not. All she wanted was to become more powerful and silly rules weren't going to stop her from attaining more power. Despite knowing there would be huge repercussions, Yurina decided that the risks were worth the rewards and she studied Dark spells in secret for several months. However, studying the theory wasn't enough to satiate her; she wanted to put the spells into practice to confirm their power. One night, Yurina decided to try casting the Imperius Curse on a classmate who she considered her rival. She was successful, but her happiness was short-lived since her school robes immediately turned white and she was instantly expelled from Mahoutokoro for practicing Dark Magic which was expressly forbidden.

Yurina's parents were extremely ashamed of their daughter for bringing dishonor upon their family and they disowned her without a second thought in order to save face. Such a disgusting stain on both of their family trees was unacceptable. Knowing that she was branded forever as a failure in her home country, Yurina fled to Europe after her expulsion. It was also to save herself from being taken into custody by the Japanese Ministry of Magic, since they wanted to question her motives for learning and using Dark Magic. She traveled around the continent for many years, discreetly practicing her magic and gradually becoming stronger. Yurina learned how to survive on her own with only the bare necessities, but after she grew more powerful, Yurina also began using her knowledge and beauty to coerce others, usually men, into providing her with enough to be comfortable.

When she was twenty-two years old, Yurina met Voldemort in Albania. At first, she was only going to use him and siphon out any knowledge of new spells she could learn before throwing him away. However, as they talked, she found herself drawn to his ideals and his plans of a future that catered to powerful Pureblood wizards. Not to mention, he also understood her, which no one had ever done before. Deciding that she now had a new purpose in life, Yurina pledged herself to his cause and requested that he bestow the Dark Mark on her to initiate her into the Death Eaters. However, Voldemort did not allow her to take the Dark Mark without proving her loyalty to him first. Yurina agreed to do whatever it took to receive this blessing from Voldemort, since she saw the Dark Mark as a symbol of prestige and power.

While Peter Pettigrew worked on reviving him, Voldemort decided to send Yurina on a mission in Indonesia to torture the locals for information about Maledictuses, since he wanted to learn more about Nagini's blood curse. Yurina was to also kill any Muggleborn wizards or witches she came across, in order to prove that she could successfully cast the Killing Curse and to also rid the world of those Voldemort considered impure. She gladly took on this challenge and immediately made her way to Indonesia. Yurina stayed there for a year, gathering as much information as she could while mercilessly killing dozens of Muggleborns. She also learned many Indonesian spells and brought back several precious talismans that were imbued with ancient Indonesian magic.

Upon successfully returning from her mission, Yurina was deemed to be a trustworthy and reliable follower, and Voldemort made her an official Death Eater. Yurina promptly took the Dark Mark and joined his ranks. She is a huge asset to the Death Eater faction with her arsenal of Asian magic, her silver tongue that can easily charm men, and her burning vengeance to make Mahoutokoro and her parents pay for humiliating her as a young teenager. After all, she had done nothing wrong in seeking out knowledge and power that was rightfully hers for the taking. Yurina will stop at nothing to bring about the utopia that she has been dreaming of for years, where the most powerful wizards and witches stand at the top in all of their unchecked glory.

— She has a golden ink tattoo of a kyuubi no kitsune (nine-tailed fox) that spans her entire back.

— She is fluent in six languages: Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, French, and Italian. She learned English, Chinese, and Korean from private tutors, since her parents wanted her to go into International Relations after graduating from Mahoutokoro. When she escaped to Europe after being expelled, she picked up French and Italian since they were more useful for survival than Chinese and Korean were.

— She used to play Quidditch in school, but hasn't ridden a broom since her expulsion because she dislikes anything that reminds her of Mahoutokoro.

— She enjoys lavender-scented items, since they relax her.

— She is unsure if she wants to have children in the future, because she doesn't know if she is capable of loving a child unconditionally, even though she knows she should since she was so damaged by her parents' conditional love.

Yurina has not spoken to her father since she was expelled from Mahoutokoro and she was disowned from the family. Now, all she harbors is hate towards Ikuto. Even Yurina was younger, the two were distant from each other, because Ikuto was busy with his Ministry duties and he saw no worth in a daughter who could not pass down the family name. If Yurina had been born a boy instead, he would have paid more attention to her, but as a female, Yurina was essentially worthless in Ikuto's eyes.

Yurina has not spoken to her mother since she was expelled from Mahoutokoro and she was disowned from the family. Now, all she harbors is hate towards Hitomi. When Yurina was younger, Hitomi was extremely strict in how she brought up her daughter. Hitomi projected her anger in failing to produce a male heir onto Yurina and she ruthlessly trained her daughter to be the golden standard, stating that anything less than perfection was unacceptable. Hitomi refused to give her daughter unconditional love, saying it would make Yurina weak and that she had to prove her worth before expecting anything in return.

FRIENDS :

— friend: Nagini

Yurina's only friend within the Death Eater circle is Nagini despite the language barrier. Yurina feels safe around Nagini, especially after learning that she was originally an Asian woman as well, which led Yurina to feel a sense of kinship with the Maledictus. If Yurina is being harassed by any of the male Death Eaters, who stereotype her as an exotic and submissive woman, she usually retreats to Nagini and the snake will viciously lash out at them. It is more amusing for Yurina to see these men squirm in Nagini's grip, since always retaliating against them herself gets tiring after the umpteenth time. Sometimes, the two friends make it a game to see who can instill more fear and get their newest victim's heartbeat racing faster.

OTHERS :

— savior: Lord Voldemort

The only authority figure that Yurina submits to is Lord Voldemort. She believes that he is the only one who truly understands her and he does not shame her for her power-hungry mindset, since he is the same way. Yurina will do anything for Lord Voldemort in order to bring about a world where those with power rule over all without any restrictions.

"What do you mean by this...war effort? You mean the fools who think they can take down the Dark Lord with their stupid ideals of justice? The idiots who think this world should stay as it is? What an absolute load of dung."

Are you worried about possibly being one of the casualties of war? :

"Not really. Only weaklings agonize over the possibility of being a casualty. I am also protected by the Dark Lord as one of his trusted followers and even the Japanese Ministry of Magic was unable to catch me as a teenager when I had barely a tenth of the power that I have now. At this point, only an extremely powerful wizard would be able to take me down and we all know the most powerful ones are on the Dark Lord's side, so there's nothing for me to worry about."

Do you think you could kill someone for any reason? :

"It's not that hard, honestly. A simple Avada Kedavra and it's done. I don't know why people make such a big fuss over killing someone. If you have the power, use it."
