Trainee Years: Two years, one month, seventeen days.
Trainee Life: There were a lot of hardships for lina in order to become an idol. she was coming from a low class family and had to abandon that life to go to seoul to train. she came with no money, no house, and had to find ways to eat day and night. she lost a lot of weight, and was ashamed of herself for being a poor, homeless trainee. but, one thing was for sure, she was lucky to have a friend like juniper. Juniper was well-off. she came from ilsan. her parents would send her money every friday, and even rented her a home to stay in the gangnam district. "Only the best for their one daughter, who's trying to become an idol, right?"
though, juniper didn't learn of lina's hardships right away, she only got concerned for her fellow trainee after lina dropped 10 punts in three weeks. lina was only getting smaller and smaller, and she never looked her best. one could only assume she was either being mistreated, or...well, possibly someting worse.
After learning of lina's hardships through the grape vine, she offered lina a place to stay in her gangnam home. which lina reluctantly accepted.

Since lina couldn't afford a phone at first, she hadn't spoken to her parents since she'd become a trainee. when she borrowed juniper's phone that first night, they cried of worry and utmost happiness to finally hear from her. she told them her horrid stories of trainee life and cried along with them. she also told them about the greatest person she met to date, juniper. Who had opened her doors to her, and allowed her to have a new hope and goal to strive toward. she promised she'd call soon, and that she'd work her off to help back home, but they just told her to do her best. and she applied it for the months that followed.
She made it her goal to train hard, earn a spot on one of the girl groups to debut, and she wound up learning so much from her first year training that by her second year, she was in talks to debut.
But of course, that also didn't come very easy. There were other trainee's who were right for debut too, and she really strained herself trying to fight for her position.
in the end, lim jinah won that spot alongside juniper, and she couldn't be happier. the day they found out, they went out for the first time, to celebrate as a group, as sisters, as spectrum.
