More questions for authors

Procrastinating from writing- as usual lmao- and felt like doing one of these again.

Hunted around the blog posts and came across this one by OnceUponAnEXO, much thank for letting ppl steal it!

More questions LET'S ING GO-

1. How did you come up with your username and what does it mean?

I combined 'Panda' from Apink's fanclub name Pink Panda, and 'Dayum' bc whenever I see my goddesses I go "DAYUUUUUM SDKJASHDASKDH" you know what I mean?

But ppl call me Yum since they view it more as 'Panda Yum', so I've also accepted that as my name. I guess pandas are delish (?)

2. Which is your most subscribed to story?

Surprisingly, a one-shot called 'Because Of You, I Can't Become The Savage Master' lmao.

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

I try to bring justice to my ultimate bias' beauty... by making her into a goddamn hand-drawn meme.

Sorry Park Chorong I love you mwah.

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

I gotta say pandaredux, my genius-, poetic- fam.

Queendaenarys too but she's been rUDE.

5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

Apink - 'Being in Time'.

This has to be my favourite Apink fanfic so far, but I'm also seriously confused to why none of Myeonsshi-nim's stories have been featured yet bc they're all maSTERPIECES GODDAMN IT.

TWICE - 'Oh My God They Were Roommates' by lildemonlili.

With that meme- title and that hilarious description- not to mention the fantastic storyline and writing, how can I stop reading it over and over again?

6. How many stories are you subscribed to?

Only 23. I'm too busy killing myself with updating multiple stories at once to read more unfortunately.

7. What AU do you find yourself writing about most?

School for sure, bc the experience is still pretty fresh for myself.

8. How many friends do you have?

76, but I want to befriend  e v e r y o n e

9. Is there something you'd like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it?

I'm not afraid of ppl judging me, but I'm scared to write genres outside of my comfort-zone bc I just know how I'd be absolutely ed.

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on AFF?

E v e r y t h i n g

11. How many subscribers do you have?

More than I deserve, that's for sure LOL.

12. How many stories have you posted online to this day (finished and unfinished)?

13. I'mma aim for that next badge.

13. How many stories do you have saved in your writing program?

No new ones, but 6 drafts for my on-going fics.

14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

If I'm not too lazy I'll try to write 'em down and do some planning, but honestly that only happens once every 3000 years.

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

Kinda...?

I've reached out to someone to work on something with me ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

16. How did you discover AFF?

Google, thank.

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?

PFFT-

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

MY BABIES- jk.

19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

... They've unfortunately deactivated their account.

20. How many karma points do you have?

Enough to be like yay???

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

Comments from readers are precious and can teach you what people would like to see or how they feel about your current style.

'Tis a great way to help you reflect on your writing and eventually grow as an author.

The most important thing- personally- is to enjoy the whole process and the work you ultimately create, bc the passion shows.

22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

I really try to do the former, but always end up as the latter RIP.

23. Have you ever gotten a bad review or comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

So far everyone's been super nice in the comment section mwah.

Even if I get a bad comment in the future, I'd still thank them lol extra mwahs.

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing?

Mature scenes.

I can't write anything y to save my life, I swear.

25. What story(s) are you working on now?

I have 5 on-going stories and one unlisted ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).

26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Yes when decent ideas pop into my brain, but I'm also the type to stress tf out when I keep my readers waiting for an on-going story update, so most of the time I'm like Pandayum stOP.

27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

At least update one chapter on any story please, dusty- brain of mine.

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

I... I hope (unnecessary panicking intensifies)?

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

The smoothest and the fastest to be completed is hands down 'Devil's Hour - 3 AM'.

I've had such a blast writing it, and it's great to see how ppl seemed to have enjoyed it as well.

30. What is your least favorite story that you've written?

I'm only saying 'Eternal Love, Literally' bc I enjoy writing comedic sh*t and that one leans more towards a serious (?) tone.

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

Hopefully here, still creating something to make ppl smile.

There is absolutely no ing way for me to make this my occupation LOL.

32. How many upvotes do you have?

MORE THAN I DESERVE.

33. What is the easiest thing about writing?

Pressing the keyboard.

Jking.

As long as your creativity is there and your fingers are working, you can literally create anything.

Chorong waking up one morning with a whole- beard on her elegant face? Possible!

Sana belonging to a set of triplets and they're all arguing about how they're the gayest sibling? ing go for it!

The universe is in your fingertips, and the power is so, so sweet.

34. What is the hardest thing about writing?

When the ing writer's block strikes.

35. Why do you write?

To keep my creativity going, but mainly to make at least one person out there smile.

This world is absolute sh*t and I know how tough it is to even get though a single day sometimes, so if I could bring even a teeny-weeny bit of joy to someone's day with a crack-fic update, I'll continue writing.

Dang, I really love writing these.

If anyone stumbles across more questions pls feel free to share them my way, I'll gladly steal and answer 'em lmao.
