Intelligence isn't really a personality trait but hey, she IS smart. even though she never really used her brain, you can't discredit her for knowing random facts about random things. she's also great at writing! She really likes to write, but because she's often too busy trying to think of new ideas, she can come off as flighty and dreamy, sometimes even straight-up idealistic. It makes her a great storyteller and popular with kids, but as she grows older, it becomes less of a good trait and more of a "why can't you be realistic" thing. She's also extremely loyal to her friends and family. As long as you've earned her trust, she'll stick up for you no matter what. Sometimes, though, it's almost extreme, and she won't care who's right or wrong and support her friends and family, which isn't too great...
Maybe it's because she's been sheltered so much, but Sooji tends to be whiny and selfish. If something doesn't go exactly her way, she'll be upset. If something's a little bit off than what she prefers, she'll be in a bad mood the rest of the day. SHe complains a LOT, and although she does feel bad about it sometimes, she doesn't know any other way to let out her emotions. On that, she's also stubborn. Of course she's smart, but there's things that she doesn't know, but she's too prideful to admit that she doesn't know it (she also hates losing to other ppl). So when other ppl point out her faults or something wrong that she said, even if she knows they're right, she'll insist that she was right no matter what. Also, she tends to not notice things that go on around her. Most of it is because she's usually off daydreaming, but seriously, Sooji just doesn't really care what goes on in the world around her. The world could be burning up and she wouldn't notice. Hence, sometimes she can come off as blunt or mean or straight rude because she wasn't paying attention and made an offhand comment about something that someone else is really sensitive about.

Height: 162cm. Weight: 56kg. There's not much different from fc except a few details. She has a star-shaped birthmark on her lower back and a faint scar above her right eyebrow from when she bashed her head into the table learning to walk.
daily: sooji likes to wear cute but stylish things. a white t-shirt with a pastel skirt. an undershirt, a flannel, and skinny jeans. she usually wears converses like these. she likes oversized hoodies and sweatshirts and makes a point to wear large cardigans during the fall.
airport: sooji prefers comfort over fashion when she travels. she usually wears a jacket and long pants and sometimes even a long coat. usually, sooji wears flats to the airport.
dorm: since no one judges her, sooji can just lounge around in a t-shirt and sweatpants, or a tank top and shorts. during the winter, she wears fluffy slippers and puts on a cardigan. during the summer, she tries to wear as little as possible without losing dignity.

years: 2015-2019. in mid-2015, sooji joined bighit after passing an audition. she knew how to sing, but she was terrible at dancing. the comapny decided not to train her in rap and to only focus on her dancing. over the years, sooji did improve her dancing sincce most of the trainees are bighit are male, so they helped her a lot. the only thing is, her older sister yoonji is also a trainee at bighit. yoonji joined a little while after sooji did, but they don't talk much. most of the other trainees don't even know that they're related.
late 2015: appeared in a promotional video for BTS.
predebut: bts's suga dating female trainee?? (false) - this became news after sooji appeared in that promotional video with bts. it's completely false, and the company has clarified that.
after debut: tnt's members are lesbians? (false) - during one of their late-night outings to a restaurant, sooji was talking to one of the other members (not yoonji), and at one point, they were laughing and held hands as friends do. unfortunately, tabloids caught this and made up a rumor that they were lesbians. the company dismissed it, and sooji and the other member addressed it as well.
after debut: tnt's nabi breaks down during fansign! (true) - on the anniversary of yoonho's death, tnt had a fansign. sooji met a fan who said that she reminded him of his little sister who'd passed away, and sooji burst out crying. she didn't explain, though, and only apologized.

sooji was born in seoul. she has an older sister, yoonji, who was born only ten months before she was (their parents really didn't waste much time lol). they already had an older brother, yoonho, who was born in february 1997. life was pretty good, even though their parents were slightly stressed because they were only simple office workers, not making quite enough to support three children.
they fought a lot sometimes, sooji remembers, but it was never big. overall, the family got along well, and sooji liked hanging out with her siblings. well, sort of. they fought like all siblings do, and sometimes sooji and yoonji found even harder because they're sisters, and they had more in common to fight about.
sooji's grades were never really good. yoonho was the smart one, and yoonji studied hard. sooji always had her head in the clouds, daydreaming about what it would be like to travel the world and fall in love with a prince charming. needless to say, her parents worried about her, but hey, at least she passed.
nothing out of the ordinary happened until sooji was seventeen. yoonho and yoonji had both graduated, and sooji was left lonely. during winter break of 2014, on his way back home, yoonho was involved in a car crash. both drivers died on impact.
after the incident, sooji refused to talk to yoonji. she resented her sister because yoonji told yoonho to go home before her, which caused him to die. this caused a rift between the sisters since yoonji was suffering as well. they stopped talking and grew apart.
even afterwards, sooji never really recovered from yoonho's death. she began to close herself off, withdrawing further and further into her own world. during that time, she began to obsess over idols as a last ditch attempt to distract herself from the loss of her brother. her already-terrible grades went down even more, and soon, sooji was failing school.
her parents, also still shaken by the loss of their son, no longer had much time to nag at sooji about what she could or could not do. as soon as she could, sooji auditioned for bighit entertainment after seeing a video of BTS. she made it in and spent the next few years training, trying to distract herself from reality.
sooji and yoonji used to fight a lot as kids, but it was mostly just sibling rivalries. nonetheless, sooji was closer to yoonho. after yoonho's death, sooji blamed yoonji, and they cut off contact. yoonji joined bighit in an attempt to reconciliate with her sister, but they still don't talk, and sooji avoids yoonji.
sooji was closer with yoonho because he tended to be nicer than yoonji and often protected her. knowing how bad their family condition was, yoonho tried hard in school so that he could go to a good university and help their family. he used to tutor sooji in school. it's his death that causes her to spiral into depression and eventually end up at bighit, and it also caused the rift between sooji and yoonji.
they met backstage, while tnt was promoting their first song. as rookies, they had to greet all the artists, and it just so happened that sooji stumbled a little bit when she entered the room. he caught her and asked if she was okay. she was, but she was embarrassed and never wanted to speak to him again. however, they kept bumping into each other, and he kept saying hi to her. she had to say hi back, but eventually, on the last day of either one's promotions, she wished him luck and hugged him.
they don't interact much afterwards since the companies are strict, but they keep seeing each other around, and they always say hi.
seungmi was friends with yoonji first, so by association, sooji didn't like her. Besides, seungmi is young and impulsive, and sooji doesn't like how the younger girl always tries to talk to her, even when she doesn't want to talk.
That was at first. LATER, SEUNGMI somehow FOUND OUT that sooji and yoonji were sister, and She tried hard to get them to make up. that really annoyed sooji, so she disliked seungmi even more. (maybe they could make up later and all become friends).
sooji doesn't really talk to many people, but for some reason, daeun took a liking to her (or not, your choice LOL). anyway, they talk sometimes, but sooji doesn't actually like talking to her since daeun likes to get all up in her business. but when they're the two members who are the worst at dancing/memorizing the moves, it helps to have someone to talk to.
