How Did You. . .

Hey! I'm just wondering about this out of the blue (and also I think because this is what I'm going through right now?)

So, I have two on-going fics that I've been working on right now which is on a different site (if you are wondering, it's Wattpad lol) but lately, I have an idea for a new fic in my head. I'm thinking of publishing that fic here instead of at the other one because I feel like making a comeback at this site and be active in writing here again.

But, my question is. . .how did you (if you ever gone through this situation before) manage to work on two or three different stories at the same time? Are there any tips on how you can update all the stories without making the other one literally goes dead for too long?

So far, what I did was to write several chapters for each story earlier before posting an update. But it's also hard since I'm losing motivation to continue writing the other two and instead, I've been busy writing a bit on the new fic.

So I kinda need your opinion/tips on this. Thank you in advance!! ^^

i used to update 5 stories every 2-3ish weeks (back durin my winglin days, lol)
the best method i use is:
•plan
•draft #1
•draft #2
•rough draft
•finalizing rough draft
•update
i do that on all 5 stories (3 chaps mini. normally & 15 chaps max.(if i got patience or motivation for it,lol)
do NOT write more than 2 fics unless you are sure that you can deal w multiple fics at one time.

My advice: No more than 2 fics updating at once. Make sure to switch up frequently and do not continue with 1 story for too long, because otherwise it's too hard to find back your flow of the other fic. I don't believe people who will update more than 3 stories at once. Those are usually writers who never finish all of them. It for the readers.

I’m currently working on two at the same time.
I once had 3 at the same time before.

I usually update once a week (cuz your girl busy with work)
So I have the week to draft a chapter for each story.
If I finish drafting one chapter and still have an idea, I create a draft for the next chapter also
So that I have a beginning for when I will proceed with it

i'm not sure since i tried to work on 3 stories at once but two of them i lost motivation due to my hectic schedule. The one method i found was to write rough drafts for chapters so that i can keep the story in track. Not sure if this helped but i hope you'll find a way ^.^
