stories that I want to write but I can't bc I have no time :(

haven't posted blogs in a while so here we go :') 

I just really want a place to record all my ideas in one place so that I don't lose them in case in the future I have lots of time... 

 

1) Blue 2.0... 2.0 (don't worry that won't be the actual title of the story lmao)
the sequel (or prequel...? ;)) of Blue 2.0, a completed story of mine

Lee Soojin is the heiress of the company that runs the largest search engine in the world, Espy, but in reality, all she wants is to fulfill her dream of becoming a journalist. When she watches the news of someone who shared the same name as her dying in a tragic construction accident that could not and should not have occured, she begins investigating what exactly happened in the accident and the events that led up to it, discovering dark secrets that she wishes she never knew. 

basically, in Blue 2.0, it is revealed that one of the characters, Byun Baekhyun, had a wife named Lee Soojin who died in a construction accident. a lot of things in the story were never explained (especially what kind of world the characters lived in) and I wanted to explore it more in this fic. story also has romance in it, and I'm pretty sure it involves our fav kris (the flirty scientist in blue 2.0) but maybe a bit of chanyeol too. :)) also baek plays an important role in it. and cameos of 2.0 (the mc in blue 2.0) too. 

the reason that this fic hasn't started yet is bc I'm still unsure of a lot of things (such as the idea that this lee soojin wants to be a journalist) and so I'm really putting it off. also bc i'm busy. 

 

2) Six Courts
some random jongdaexoc fic bc I've just discovered how much I love jongdae

Nirvana is— or was— a heavenly country. Now, with a new generation of rulers, a new age of people, it only seems to be teetering to its downfall. The new queen is a fool, all the Earthlings are uprising again, and disease runs through its famished streets. Among all this trouble, Kim Jongdae is a courtesan for Nirvana’s six courts, singing pretty songs with his “songbird” voice to entertain the lavish and wealthy members of the country’s highest class. Yeji, on the other hand, is a mute maid serving the queen, her tongue sliced into so many pieces that her speech is indistinguishable.

this is a story I've been planning since... august  2018 I think?? I just haven't started it bc I want to finish my other fantasy fic (withered & bloomed) first before I move onto this one. I just think that the concept of someone who relies on their voice to survive and someone who can't use their voice would just be so interest. was also inspired by the character of midi in the kingdom of little wounds (such a great piece of historical fantasy!!) for yeji. 

 

3) Creature of Red
pretty idea-less lol

some vampire fic with oc, sehun, & baekhyun. this is a pretty old idea. but also I just really hate the cliche where vampires have to fall in love with humans and I'm just like gIVE me some vampirexvampire romance?? like why do we always have to incorporate weak humans as love interests in vampire fics... 

 

4) Lanterina
got the concept down but not the exact plot 

 I really want to explore another side of society with ion and trafficking and all that. personally, I feel like so much depth could be brought to the matter. so, no, this won't be a fic but it will deal with ual concepts and how people are exploited. only reason why I haven't written this is bc I don't want to rush into the story without a good research foundation and I want to take a realistic approach to this story. 

 

5) no title #1
I'm sorry I'm just bad at creating titles. :(((

lack of fleshing out again for this fic but basically it's a EXO-CBX and OC fic bc we need more of those!! stan chen baek xiu. 
basically what just happens is that CBX are aliens and they crash onto earth where they meet OC, a kindergarten teacher who hates kids. oh, and both xiumin + baekhyun hate kids too so I guess that's one thing they share in common. 
but I haven't started this fic either bc I literally cannot write comedy so I need to work on that when this story will likely be a comedy. :(
 

6) Something that Never Was
OC, Kyungsoo, & Chanyeol fic

He was a boy made of moonlight and stars, too graceful, too ethereal for this world. 
 
aka there's a psychopath who lives in the moon. but it's a fantasy fic. yep. it's one of those fics with a quest and a team of people (OC, Kyungsoo, Chanyeol, & Chanyeol's sister) who go on the quest to help the world be a better place. 
 


7) Into the Deepr Blues
mermaid!au, OCxKyungsoo, love mermaid stories ugh.

Haewon is a mermaid who wishes that she had legs to dance with. 
Kyungsoo is a human who wishes that he had legs to swim with. 
 
kyungsoo, in this story,  basically suffers from paraplegia (paralysis of the lower half aka legs) because deep diving is his hobby, and during one of the times where he was deep diving, an accident occured and his oxygen was cut off. luckily, he was saved, but what occured bc of this lack of oxygen was that his lower half became paralyzed. in this fic, it explores the idea of how important legs are and how although both characters are different species, they both don't have legs that they can use. 
I was inspired by this nice song that they used in a bbc dancing whales video. 
 

8) no title #2
just terrible at thinking of titles

I just wanted to do a modern day retelling of rapunzel bc lately for tech theatre, I've been stuck up in this two-story high perch to operate the projection machines for like eight hours at a time and I just realized how lonely and boring is to be stuck up high without any way of getting down bc they took away your ladder. :( 
so yeah, this is probably a story where oc is a damsel-in-distress sort of character locked in a glass tower who isn't exactly a damsel-in-distress bc I hate that cliche. 
reason why I haven't started this fic is pretty obvious imo... I have literally no ideas besides the stuck in a tower idea. 
 

9) Ethereality's Flower
ocxchanyeol fic

Rule Number One: All humans are dangerously weak.
Rule Number Two: All humans can make dangerous gods weak.  
Rule Number Three: The dangerous key to weakness is love. 

so, chanyeol here is the god of death and oc here is an actress. this is a suuuuper old idea (from december 2017!!) but I really want to get to it someday. it's a story where the god of death falls in love with a mortal who lives and dies over the years, losing her memories each time she reincarnates, but they continue falling in love during each reincarnation. reincarnation is just such a depressing but romantic concept that I really wanted to play with it. I even have a full set of graphics for this story ugh

 

all in all, I really want to start at least one of these ideas in 2019!! any suggestions which one?

Duuuude, these story ideas sound interesting! :O I hope you get to write them one day! They sound too good of stories to be dropped :C I believe you can do it! Best of luck!

CREATURE OF RED, I JUST— again I’m biased haha but I honestly love the idea of vampire!au’s so it would be really cool to read one that wasn’t cliché.
Something that Never Was akdghkadhk sounds extremely interesting to me. when you said “quest” I was like “yup I would read this.” Adventure fics are awesome to read because of character interactions and friendships :-D

It could be useful to have your phone with you and earphones or headphone with a mic, so when you're on the go, alone, or at home and using bathroom and etc. you can record yourself talking about an idea which popped up into your mind. That way, when you do have the time, but have a writer's block, you can simply write down what you already had an idea for.

I like the vampire idea, I'm a er for vampires :') I also like the psycho on the moon? Tbh all idea are cool, but yeah vampires and kyungsoo :3

dude some of these stories really remind me of that i myself want to write but also have no time

esp that royal jongdae au... i'm not usually one for oc fics, but recently some of my ideas -- hoo boi -- have been reallly verging into either oc or original territory.

my main thing with oc fics is that it always seems to self-inserty, you know?? like i would only write them for self-gratification, but that makes it self-insert, which i typically don't like. #struggles
