humorous and loud: When in his good mode, his normal mode, kind of... feitong is a very fun person to be around, he's always out there being fun, joking around and lightening the mood. But the problem is: he is often way too loud. He might just lure threats to him because he's naturally so loud, and that's not a good thing.

optimistic: this is what he usually shows. Feitong is usually someone who smiles, and brings smiles. He tries to stay in high spirits at all times when he's in his good mode. many of the other participants envy him for his unbelievable optimistic way of life, even though this is all just a mask. He might stay smiling and believing, but hope is one of the only things that keeps him going. He's a shiny ray of sunshine, but he's rotten on the insides.

Intelligent: Feitong has a really intelligent mind. He was working his way up to become an aspiring engineer before he got picked for the hunger games. if he didn't get picked, he'd probably become one of district 5's biggest engineers. he's really studious and that will certainly be helpful in the arena. he doesn't only know how to make and break electric cirquits, he also knows basic things about how to survive. He knows that he should eat a lot before entering the arena for reserves, and that's why he entered the arena chubbier than usual. His brains will definitely be both his biggest advantage and disadvantage.

Active: even though he never really got to practice sports, he is generally quite active, and when he had the time to go to appointments, he usually ran there. feitong used to be skinny, yet quite muscled, but he has gotten chubbier in a short time, eating heaps to build up reserves for the hunger games. but he generally didn't have it that bad. I mean, district 5 is still in the upper half, right? He's used to living in district 5, but his parents actually were inhabitants from district 1, and that explains why he's not actually from 'ancient korean descent' (idk how to call it, he's basically chinese lmao).

competitive and haughty: If you don't like competition, stay away from this guy. Feitong likes to make a competition out of everything. First one to get to the training room, best one at little games, all of that stuff. When feitong loses, he'll simply move on and find something else to compete over, but when he wins, he'll become haughty and keep on bragging it for a while. He sometimes acts haughty as a joke, but sometimes he can't stop himself from acting like he's superior. He's just so weird that he doesn't realise he's being a brat. now that there is a battle of life and death in front of him, feitong's competitiveness is triggered harshly, and the more competitive he gets, the more his... bad part takes over. the longer he lasts in the games, the more unstable he'll get.

unpredictable and unstable: being on this emotional rollercoaster all the time, Jasper doesn't know how to react to or deal with things that might make him go into his more bad mode. He reacts to conflict with clownery to be able to deal with it and stop his insanity from coming out, but it often rubs others the wrong way. His emotion bombs come at unpredictable times and he can get really off at something others would not care about. Yeah, he's a pain to deal with, but you can't blame him. He can't do anything about it himself. a trauma from his childhood has made him mentally unstable, and with the games, it will only get worse.

bipolar: it started out mildly, but over the years, his bipolar personality disorder started to become more and more prominent. It is still manageable right before the games, and he actually causes no harm when he goes into his bad mode, but he only goes into great paranoia and distress, occasionally harming himself but not others. But the games will be such a strong trigger that his bad mode will start to become more and more powerful. He'll drift more and more away to insanity, becoming like a mad scientist. He'll become unmanageable if he lasts long, and with his insanity growing and taking over his good mode more and more, his bloodlust grows at a dangerous rate as well...

Appearance — district 5 is around average in wealth, but feitong is one of the aspiring engineers, so he's one of the more priviledged ones. he usually wears a white shirt and black trousers, occasionally with a black blazer as well.

Background — feitong is not actually a descendant from district 5. his parents came from district 1, but they weren't exactly good people. they were good people on the surface, but in the dark night, they were thieves. One night, while feitong's mom was a few weeks pregnant with him and didn't even know it yet, they were caught during the act. they were forced to kill one of the family members to get out. they never meant to go this far, but since it was a pretty important family, they had to escape immediately. district 1 wasn't safe for them anymore, and that's why they fled to district 5. they expected that the people looking for revenge wouldn't find them, since district 5 was far away, but not the furthest. they expected that the people would first look to both the closest and furthest districts for them. they settled down safely in district 5 and took on a normal life, no thievery anymore. Especially after the birth of their little boy, feitong.

their calm and good life lasted for quite a while, until the day of doom arrived. feitong's parents didn't really worry about the family they fled from anymore, but suddenly, on a summer day when feitong was 11, they stood there, on the big communal square of their city. they were out in the open, yet they didn't care, and shot both of the parents right then, right there. feitong went into a deep shock, since he didn't even know why they would kill his parents out of the blue. they almost killed him too, but his classmate's parents were able to get him away safely. but he wasn't safe mentally, it was all cracking.

the classmate's parents took him under their wings. they tried their best to raise him well and get him back on track. he seemed to feel good like his old self again, but there were cracks in his mental that would crack further every time something triggered him into distress. feitong was always known to be intelligent, so he started to be trained to become one of the bigger engineers of district 5. he sometimes had his weird moments of paranoia and dangerous anxiety, but no harm was done. he was well on his way to have a good life, but the cracks in his mental started to become more and more visible to others.

from the moment he got picked out of the bowl of names as tribute, on his last year of actually having a chance, his mental started to crack at an even faster speed, and soon, his mental will shatter into pieces, and the optimistic, loud and funny feitong will slowly be taken over by a paranoid, insane madman, who's thirsty for blood.

lee changsun / best friends & adoptive brothers / 10 / CHANGSUN IS THE CLASSMATE THAT BECAME LIKE A BROTHER. CHANGSUN's parents were the ones to save feitong from the ones who killed his parents, and took him in and raised him like he was their own. they ended up adopting him. feitong loves changsun and his new parents a lot, but it's so hard for him to forget about his biological parents who got killed in front of him.


 

shin hyesung / mentor / 7 / feitong knew of hyesung, but they never talked in person before. but yeah, everyone in the district knows of their victors. hyesung turned out to be kind, but clearly scarred by what happened. And since feitong was already going downhill, hyesung didn't always know how to deal with him. at least he mentored feitong well. 

yong junhyung / stylist / 4 / this doesn't really go well, since feitong really dislikes the outfits junhyung gives to him. feitong doesn't like fancy clothes with too much detail that make him feel uncomfortable and stand out. because he always comments on how he dislikes the clothes, junhyung feels disappointed, no matter how nice the clothes actually are.

Personality
— everything about Kahei is serene and gentle. She's way too kind, and generally doesn't seem to fit in her district of transportation. She's very nice and doesn't show much heavy emotions. she just remains calm at most times. She's almost calm like an android, and even when she was picked out on the selection, she didn't seem too shocked. She feels certain stuff coming and has a great and strong gut feeling. She often strangely feels like something's wrong before goes down.

Her problem is that she's very weak and vulnerable. She just lets people run over her and lets everything just pass by. She's a watcher, and is not used to having stuff happening to herself. No one had any expectations for such a little doll who could break by just a hug, but she tries to stay strong. She's very airheaded, but also very stubborn. When she has an opinion, she won't let it go.

Appearance — she usually wears a cheap, white dress that hides her frail body and curves.

Background — hkahei was born in a regular family in district 6, but she was always on the poorer side. she had a big brother who she loved a lot, but last year, he got selected for the hunger games, and didn't return, unfortunately. kahei used to be a cheery and fun girl, but she simply lost it all after the loss of her brother. and now this year, she got picked too. her parents are really devastated, because no one really expects kahei to win. even she herself is just going to the arena, preparing for her death. even when feitong appears and takes her under his wings, she still has no expectations of winning.

Trivia — is afraid of losing her parents, needles and fire, because her brother died because someone set him on fire.

Relationships — mentor: park chorong / 5 / she didn't really get close to chorong, because she really needs more time unless they hit it off quickly. they do think of each other as good people, they're just very awkward.

stylist: im jinah/nana / 7 / kahei and nana did hit it off. nana knew about her brother, so she offered comfort for kahei, and that's how they were able to get closer. the last days before the games, nana was a friend and place for comfort for her.

Love Story — feitong and kahei ran into each other very soon after the games started. they had briefly had a chat before during training, but never even knew each other's names. feitong was still completely alive and kicking, but kahei had already tripped, and she was lightly injured. feitong decided to take care of her and saw no threat. kahei trusted him as well, after seeing his sweet smile.

Feitong felt like he had to protect kahei, so he offered to stick with her. kahei was fine with it at first, at least she had company while she was going to die. but soon kahei noticed feitong's... issues. at first she was afraid, but feitong confessed his story and why he was like that. kahei could actually find herself in him, but she still felt uneasy sometimes. feitong also tried his hardest to hide it all from her and not harm kahei at all. but it will all get worse with feitong, and kahei won't know what to do with him, so she just goes along with his plans and helps him calm down when he needs it. in the end, it might go horribly wrong if feitong's crazy personality takes complete control... no matter how much feitong has grown to like kahei.

Ending — the coolest ending would be that feitong ends up killing kahei himself when his insanity has gotten the best of him, but kahei can also be killed by someone else, or feitong can die first, but if one of them gets killed by another tribute, chances are big that the other will die right after.

Password —  of course there is this little chance that he wins, idk, but if he doesn't live, please kill him in a very brutal and spectacular way.

Last comments — hey so yeah my boy is finished! i am very excited for this because i love hunger games! i have a soft spot for hunger games and battle royales and stuff. so i originally wanted to make a korean because i really loved this plotline and i thought he could have skills for electrocuting people, similar to beetee of the books and movies. but when i imagined faceclaims posing heroically like that for the hunger games pictures, and imagining the insanity that i was planning to give this character, i somehow only had one faceclaim in mind, and that was yang feitong! so i tried to come up with a story that both covered as why he's in district 5 in korea and not somewhere in china, and also why he has so much... mental issues. i hope you like him!

Scene suggestions — feitong slowly going more and more insane, and then suddenly making the switch to his optimistic self again. also the terrifying behavior when he actually has his moments of insanity, and him trying to stay optimistic even through that... just imagine that... brrr, shivers.
