appearance. With dimples deep enough to swim in, chubby cheeks and eyes that disappear completely whenever he smiles Jihun looks to be the epitome of cute. His cute look is only accentuated by the fact that Jihun is slightly pudgier than most Koreans (Think pre-debut and debut era Jooheon. Before he started dieting). He isn´t fat by any means as his BMI is in a healthy range, but he does carry a little more fat on his frame than most Koreans of his age. He comes in at 177 cm in height and 67 kg in weight. And while Jihun would love to lose the extra fat, he knows this is very unlikely as his work requires him to keep up a less than healthy lifestyle. And Jihun cares more about his work than he does about how he looks. After all he isn´t in front of the camera and isn´t in the spotlight. He has thick thighs and a fairly broad upper body, with broad shoulders. Although Jihun naturally has black hair, it is currently bleached platinum blonde. In fact it´s almost an obsession. He doesn´t really have any color-preferences. Overall his style is very laid back and comfortable and there isn´t much exciting about it. He always wears sneakers. Overall Jihun dresses comfortably and this is kind of a necessity for him as he often falls asleep while working and it isn´t the easiest to fall asleep in clothing that isn´t comfortable. He can dress up a little if the need arises, but as Jihun isn´t really in the spotlight much, he never really needs to. His dressed up style however is still very laid back and usually consists of a button-down and jeans or if he´s feeling really fancy a black blazer overtop a white button-down and some non-ripped black jeans and his least dirty black sneakers. Jihun has a special outlook on life. He sees life as one big complex puzzle where everything is connected. He sees life through a prism of emotions and is always looking for a deeper meaning. Really all he wants in life is to maintain his happiness and freedom and to avoid missing out on exciting opportunities.
He´s the definition of a free-spirit and a lot of people would describe him as the life of the party. However where a lot of other people are most interested in the excitement and pleasure of the moment they are in, Jihun is more interested in enjoying the social and emotional connections he makes with others. He´s constantly seeking new and exciting experiences and is very impulsive. He does things without really thinking about the consequences they might have.

Jihun is extremely curious. Instead of sitting around and brooding he would much rather go out and experience new things. Jihun is the biggest scaredy-cat you will ever find. He gets scared of basically everything and when he´s scared he whines. He also likes getting his way and whines if he doesn´t. He pouts a lot and because Jihun is naturally adorable with his eye smile and dimples, this often leads people to take pity on him and go with whatever he wants to do, if anything just so he´ll stop whining. He has a lot of aegyo (Ugh I hate that word) and has no qualms about using it to get what he wants.
Jihun is energetic and has trouble sitting still. He always has to be doing something, much to the annoyance of everyone around him. When he´s forced to sit down for extended periods of time he often bounces his legs or taps his fingers or fiddles with something. This also ties into him being easily excitable, because when he´s excited about something he gets even more energetic and talks about it or immediately starts it, if it´s a project. This also ties in to him spontaneous. He can´t stay in the same place for very long, whether that´s the same city or just the same spot in a house. He has to move around and Jihun adores exploring and adventuring. Jihun does things without thinking about the consequences and if he gets an idea he sets it into motion, no matter what he might have been doing beforehand. He´s impulsive and doing things excites him. He takes pleasure in being spontaneous. He does things unplanned. If he suddenly got the urge to move to Australia he would. Or start an education in art. Or literature. Or anything. He has a lot of options open to him at all times because of his ideas and he often works by a trial and error method. He wants to try everything to find out what´s best. If for example he is unable to decide whether he wants chocolate, vanilla or strawberry ice cream Jihun choses all three so he doesn´t miss out on the right one. Because of his spontaneity and how many ideas he comes up with, Jihun often times has trouble focusing on one singular task. He has trouble maintaining interest if something becomes a routine. He´s a natural explorer and this backfires big time when the thing in front of him that needs to be done is paperwork, anything related administrative matters or stray away from broader concepts.
Jihun is prone to stress. Especially because of how friendly and open he is. This leads people to come to him for guidance and help and he gets over overwhelmed by this very easily when he cannot say yes to every request. But also because he always has a lot of balls in the air that he has to juggle around. This comes from his overactive imagination and idea-making and his tendency to start projects. Especially all the projects he has abandoned bother Jihun as he feels he should go back and finish at least some of them, but knows he´s unable to as he´s lost interest.
Jihun is clumsy. There´s no other way to put it. He could fall over nothing. This is because he´s often consumed by thought and is too busy observing other people and wondering about them to watch where he steps or what he´s doing. This leads to him falling on his face or walking into people or things very often. In fact he walked straight into a lamp-post once because he was busy watching another person on the other side of the road. He´s also walked into multiple glass-doors. He also drops stuff often. Do not let this boy in the kitchen because he will either cut or burn himself or someone else. Or just the food if you´re really lucky.
All in all Jihun is kind of a mess. He has a lot of projects that he has never finished and he´s so clumsy that he´s a danger to himself and the people around him. He might physically be a 24 year old man, but really he´s more like a 15 year old boy. Everything around him is always a mess. He leaves clothes strewn on the floor and forgets to clean it, he can´t cook… He has no control over his own limbs and breaks more things than what is humanly possible. One day he will definitely end up in the hospital because he hurt himself in some weird way. He´s scared of literally everything except heights and screams and whines and pouts when he gets scared. Do not let this kid watch a horror movie. He will cry from how scared he is. In fact he often cries when he gets scared.

Im Jihun was born on the 12th of March 1993 in Anseong City, Gyeonggi province of South Korea to Im Chaewon and Im Seojun. At the time of his birth, Jihun was an only child, but that changed when Jihun was just 11 months because at this point his little sister Im Jieun was born. Jihun grew up with music. His mother played both the piano and acoustic guitar and his father both drums and bass. This lead Jihun to grow up very interested in music and at 6 he started both piano and violin lessons. He loved both and continued these lessons. At 10 he also took up drumming lessons, having started learning from his father back when he was 8. Throughout middle and high school Jihun was always the odd one. He was a very hyper and energetic kid which meant he was often a little much for the other kids to handle. Luckily he always had his sister right next to him and they spent most of their time together when they were younger. In middle school they spent most of their time in the music room, playing the different instruments. His sister had taken up guitar after their mother as well as playing the flute so they had a lot of fun. In 2008 at the age of 15 Jihun graduated from Anseong middle school and during his summer break, Jihun watched a lot of movies. And he was entranced and fascinated by the way sound was used in some of these movies and how different sounds or the lack of any sound could completely change the atmosphere of a certain scene. So when Jihun enrolled in Anseong high school after his break, he immediately chose audio production as one of his electives. Here he met a lot of young people who had the same interest in audio and film as him and he was no longer as much of an outsider. Of course he maintained a close relationship with his sister and would often drag her with him to stay in the rooms they used when they had their audio production classes. Here he would spend his breaks with the other students who had chosen audio production and his sister and Jihun learnt a lot through these classes. He knew that audio production was what he wanted to do, and researched liberally what jobs you could get in the field of audio work. Here he discovered sound design and immediately Jihun knew this was what he wanted to do. However Jihun also wanted to use his skills at music to something and halfway through high school Jihun started playing around with music production as well as sound design. He graduated from Anseong high school in 2011 at the age of 18 and immediately enrolled in Dong-ah Institute of Media and Arts (DIMA), majoring in audio production. 3 years after, in 2014 Jihun was graduated and ready to start his life as a sound designer. As Jihuns mother was a united states citizens as she was a second generation immigrant, Jihun and his sister both had dual citizenship and Jihun knew he had a better shot at making it as a sound designer in the US. And as such he gathered up his things at 21 and moved to the city of Hilton in Coldhill. And he took his sister with him. Their mother had made sure that they both were fluent in english throughout their upbringing and this helped both Jihun and Jieun when they moved. However sound design proved to be a very hard business to break through in. Luckily Jihun had some practiced with sound design as well as music production by playing around while he was in high school and from his schooling at DIMA, where they took classes on sound editing, audio design and trained in studio recording and the like. This made it a little easier for Jihun, but as he worked freelance it still wasn´t easy. In fact he lived in the tiest apartment and ate basically nothing but convenient store ramen for almost a year, taking whatever small ty sound design and music production jobs he could get. Until he found Mad Love Club. He had heard about the club, but didn´t know much until one day when his sister came home and told him that she had heard they were looking for a new house DJ. And while Jihun had never worked as a DJ before he had the needed knowledge. And he ended up getting the job. _______________ Jihun lives a chaotic life because he works as a freelance sound designer by day and as the house DJ of Mad Love by night. This means that Jihun can never be sure when he´ll be hired for sound design jobs and when he gets hired he works crazy hours, often working on sound design for most of the day and then going to Mad Love by night and staying there until closing, often coming home in the wee hours of the morning and getting two to three hours of sleep before getting up and doing the whole thing over again. In fact he usually ends up falling asleep while working (not at Mad Love obviously as it´s kind of hard to fall asleep at a club). When he has work Jihun has no time to do anything but work which means he barely gets any sleep, doesn´t work out and barely has time to eat. His meals usually consist of delivery/fast food as he absolutely can´t cook and even if he could, he wouldn´t have time. Despite this hectic life that his two jobs forces him to live, Jihun wouldn´t trade it for anything. He loves them. When Jihun doesn´t have work (which doesn´t happen much anymore. He basically works all the time), he lives a pretty quiet life, spending most of his time playing around with… you guessed it. Sound design as well as music production and composing/arranging songs for the club. If one of the dancers has a certain remix of a song or a certain idea they want to dance to, you can be sure that it´s Jihun who´s made it for them. He also plays both the piano, the violin and the drums whenever he can find the time. This kid lives and breathes audio, sound and music. Literally it´s both his hobby and his job.

+ do you work at mad love?  “I do yes. I´m the house DJ at Mad Love and I do rearranging and remixing of songs for the dancers if there´s any of them that want something in particular, but can´t find it. I´ve worked here for about 3 years. By day I´m a freelance sound designer.”

+ what is your specialty and anything you're not willing to do? “Well… I don´t do any of the… Brothel stuff…” Jihun laughs a little and shakes his head. “I´m also a so I guess there´s that… I´m demiual so I don´t really fit in with the whole brothel thing. However that doesn´t mean I´m in any way shape or form against or having it. Nor am I against one night stands or doing work or anything. work just is not my thing and I really don´t have time to date.“ (I´m making a list of his kinks even though he´s demiual and doesn´t do work, cause it doesn´t mean that there can´t be scenes with him in the story - it just has to be with someone he knows like an employee of Mad Love or something like that.)

+ what is your character's opinion on the mad love club? “I mean for me it´s just a place to work. But for some of the other workers and for the patrons… I guess for them it´s a place to be themselves.”

+ do you enjoy working at the mad love club? ”As I´ve mentioned I love my job and wouldn´t trade it for the world. Yes I´m busy as all hell, but I love it. So yes. I do enjoy working here.”

+ where does your character live? I live with my sister at a two bedroom apartment. It´s pretty chill because we live in a fairly big apartment. I even have my own studio where I do my sound editing and remixing of songs and such. Since I work with in ear monitors it works pretty well. We haven´t even needed to soundproof the room really. Also my sister´s in there a lot with me. I have her guitars in there as well. I wish there was space for a grand piano or a drum kit though. My bedroom is extremely boring honestly. Basically just black and white with no personality. But I´ve spent a lot of time making my studio feel like home. It is after all where I spend most of my time.
