PERSONALITY:

Independent: Ayumi is someone who doesn't rely on others for assistance, she prefers to do tasks alone, and doesn't follow current trends in fashion or thinking,  She simply doesn't care what others think about her. Ayumi doesn't need validation from anyone else and is fine with being alone and handling things all by herself.

Ayumi can often times be found doing most things by herself from studying or teach herself how to do things. She doesn't like asking for help at all, in fact, she despises it and hardly ever does unless she has to. She finds it's easier that way especially because she is the 5th and last of 4 children her mother and father have all her older siblings to worry about and so she just found that as time went on it was  just easier to do everything for herself. 

Courageous: Ayumi acts on her beliefs despite the danger that presents itself before her or disapproval of the people around her.  It doesn't matter what is in her way if she feels like she needs to do it she will do it without much regret or none at all. She stands up for what she thinks is right. 

Ayumi hates people picking on other that may not be as well off or entitled if she managed to leave the palace she will quickly and without much thought jump in to stop what is going on. That goes for almost any situation she sees or hears about that she thinks isn't just she acts promptly.    She also openly speaks her mind infront of people who may not agree with her thoughts and despite her parents teaching her one way she always seems to do the opposite of it. 

Confidant: She knows her abilities and as well as her limits and she is always willing to push herself up to those limits. She takes responsibility and ownership of her own opinions, emotions, feelings, words, and choices.  Ayumi believes in her value and worth and allows herself to take risks, knowing that she will make mistakes and that sometimes she will fail but takes them none the less.

Ayumi will do so much to  work hard on her skills and what she can do from horse back riding and to her ballroom dancing. She works hard working on her skills and if she is asked to show something off she is always willing to do so she enjoys doing so because she want's to show that she can do well at these things. 

Strong: Ayumi is willing to listen and accept any form of criticism or opinions from others and improve herself through what she is told. She seeks to learn as much as she can from whatever experience life brings her. Ayumi perseveres even in the face of adversity. If she sets out a goal, she will push herself to achieve it. She holds herself accountable for whatever she set out to do instead of blaming others.

Ayumi has four older siblings and people always would compare her to them when she was younger and her tutors did as well and so she learned how to take it and accept it if they told her she needed or needs to improve she takes all of it and grows from it. She knows that she can always do better and she strives to do so. 

Vengeful: If someone hurts her in any way shape or form especially if they lie to her she will rest at nothing to get back at them for it more often then not in a violent way. She can't stand it when people cross her and she makes it known that they will never have a chance to do it again. 

Ayumi takes being hurt very serious especially in the form of being lied to because she thinks its easier to just be honest it saves time and energy for both of the people. So she tends to seek revenge she is just that kind of person you hurt her she's going to hurt you the same way she was hurt. 

Impulsive: When she is angry and even when she isn't Ayumi can act without thinking about the consequences. It can often times get her in trouble but she doesn't mind it all that much not really if she was to be truthful about it. She enjoys doing things without much thought to it even if it were to lead to injuries.

She acts on whim you say jump she'll say how high and jump. Wanna go run throught the woods barefoot she's the one. She loves doing things without much thought at all and she doesn't think twice just  does it. Loves trying new things and just having fun sure it may get her hurt or in trouble but whats the point of living if you don't wanna be wild and free sometimes. 

Aloof:  Ayumi when around other people is a bit removed, somewhat at a distance and not really someone who partakes openly in conversations and keeps her thoughts to herself. She prefers to keep alone or with a small group of people who are similar and share the same beliefs as she does. 

She kept to herself in the palace if it wasn't her siblings or parents. No one knows why she is like this she's just always been this way until people force their way into her bubble. For her it's to make sure no one is trying to use her or trying to get to her siblings.  She finds it easier to just not be an open book and she's right sure people judge her for it but still. 

Cold: Before people get to know Ayumi she seems to have no feelings, and is not likely to make decisions that involve care or concern for others.  She ignores pleas to reconsider her actions often because she feels that the people who wrong her don't deserve a second chance and so for most people, she can at times see unapproachable.

A shield to protect herself she keeps a straight face and is quiet unless she is at home or with her handmaiden and Josh she will talk to people it's just she has to learn about them first because she is afraid she doesn't want to be hurt. She just wants to be free and sometimes it' hard for her to open up because of her title because she is so sure that they will only like her for that reason. 

 

BACKGROUND: 
BIRTH-6

Ayumi was born as the youngest daughter of Miyuseille's royal family and so she was already at the center of attention before she could even walk let alone already fighting for her parent's attention. Her mom and dad were always so busy with work that her needs often fell upon her older brother and the maids around her they did give her the attention she needed when they could though not wanting her to not know who her parents were. As she grew more and more though the two of them worked hard to spend time with her so she would have memories. Ayumi and her dad would play dress up and have tea parties while her mother was the one who started teaching her princess duties and raising her to be a proper young lady.

7-13

This point in her life wasn't that important but it was still fundamental in her becoming a princess because this is where she began to learn all the real fundamentals of becoming a princess from dining etiquette to how to dance.   This was also when everything began when taking breaks and playing with Macey and Matt she found herself wondering what life outside of the palace would be like.  Her parents pushed it off as just her being so young and worked hard to get the thoughts out of her mind well her mother more so than her father but it was still a concern. Ayumi also began to read a lot more things about science and adventures mainly adventures she found herself getting lost in the stories and wondering more and more about what it would be like.  It caused her to be teased a lot by Madeline and on an occasion by Macey but her brothers were often too busy to protect her from her sisters.

14-17

Ayumi at this point in her life spent a lot of her time reading and begrudgingly doing all the princess stuff she didn't hate it not really but she didn't love it either. As she grew more and more into a young woman she found herself to yearn more and more for freedom and adventure. In the palace walls, she felt lonely and bored repeating the same things day after days it became a drag.  It was also when she met her best friend for the first time she can remember like it happened yesterday.  It was late at night and she'd been away in a study reading one of her favorite books after a long day of violin and music practice she'd been quietly heading to her room when she found a bunch of the other maids harassing one of the younger maids and she simply wasn't going to have it not at all so setting her book down she marched on over to the maids and quickly scolded them and shooing them away.  The maid apologized several times before running off minseo not understanding why and wanting to get to know her more began to purposely find herself running into her and it wasn't long after that that she had the maid become her handmaiden. It was strictly professional at first but the two girls managed to get on rather well and became the best of friends. Ayumi is constantly telling her about her wants to leave the castle and to go on an adventure.

18-PRESENT

Ayumi here hadn't changed much since she was 17 she still felt and behaved the same way trying to get out of her duties and trying to leave the palace only to end up telling her Loyal handmaiden her wants and desires knowing that she would listen without fail. It never really mattered what she wanted and didn't want she had a duty and she had to do this duty without fail. This became, even more, the truth when on her 19th birthday her mom and dad announced that she was to be married to some prince from another kingdom. It filled her with dread and after her birthday celebration, she ran to her room and refused to leave for the next three days. Her parents knew that she wanted to marry for love and that she really didn't want to do this but there was no way that she could back out of it no matter how hard she tried to get her parents to let her out of it. It was Minki and her handmaiden who finally got her use to the idea of having to marry someone she never knew and Minki even talked their parents into letting her meet him in hopes it would calm her nerves.  It did some after the two met it was less of a challenge for her mom and her to talk about plans but she still didn't want to marry him her heartfelt nothing for him and she longed so deeply for adventure. 

It wasn't long before she was given her chance to be free she could recall it all well. It was late one evening after her handmaid had bid her goodnight for the evening and instead of going to bed she spent her time reading one of her favorite books telling the tale of a young mermaid and a pirate falling in love. Ayumi allowed herself to become so absorbed in the book that everything around her was gone it was just her in her own little world and before she knew it she was being lifted up off of her bed and carried out of her window. Squirming and wiggling trying to get free she yelled and screamed calling for help from someone but by the time anyone got to her room she was gone. She was afraid and terrified of course she would be she was just kidnapped by Pirates who truly wouldn't be scared. Eventually, she did collect her bearings and after a few days of being scared and terrified, she realized this was her chance it was now or never. Ayumi had to act if she wanted to be free from her royal duties this is what she needed. She needed to join them.

He loves her and when he can dote on her he does the two aren't the closes of course not he is always so busy with politics and other royal affairs that the only time that they really see each other now is at dinner time it is the one time all seven of them gather together and talk about their days. When they do interact it is mainly about what their day has consisted of. Sometimes Minseo misses when she was a kid and they'd dance around the ballroom just having a good time when he could spare the chance she wishes to go back to that.

Her mom gave birth to her and as the youngest most people think that they'd be the closest because her mother would naturally want the baby to stay the baby forever but in fact, it is the opposite. Her mother doesn't approve of how she is always reading her books and trying to go on dangerous adventures. So the two don't really talk unless they are discussing her engagement or at dinner.

Daniel her dearest older brother and the eldest child of the family is the one who more or less raised Minseo he was always playing with her and helping her with what she needed help with. Nowadays he is the first person she runs to when she can't run to her handmaiden.  He supports her and tells her that she can do it that she'll one day to go on her adventure but often they can't hang out a lot because he is so busy preparing to take over the throne for their parents when the time comes.

 When she was younger Madeline and Minseo were super close mainly because she would always chase after Madeline and Madeline would humor her but now that they are older the two never talk Madeline doesn't agree with her love for books and is content with just ignoring her for the most part except at dinner. Madeline doesn't hate her baby sister they just don't get on well anymore.

interactions Minkyu, Macey and Minseo are three peas in a pod the two are close in age and share a lot of the same hobbies and likes.  He is protective over and is always jokingly telling that when the time comes for her to marry her fiance they'd run away together. She knows it won't happen but it always makes her feel better at the end of the day.  When he is away he always writes her letters and never lets her think he has forgotten her.  Macey and Minseo are together a lot of the time as well from studying and other things being the two youngest girls they have the least amount of work to do but still enough and although Macey also doesn't agree with Minseo's likes she is always there for their baby sister with a smile on her face although she does have her habits of teasing her about her dreams.

 It all started for the two of them when she found a group of her maids bullying one of the younger maids that were somewhat close to her age. She couldn't help but feel upset by it and so she decided that she wasn't going to let it be so she approached the girls and quickly scolded all of them except her.  It didn't take long for her to find herself purposely running into the maid and her becoming her personal handmaiden soon followed. The two of them became good friends and Minseo doesn't like to think about her as a maid or worker and simply as a friend who always does what she asks her to. She'd do anything for her. (When characters are chosen I will go into more detail on their relationship.)

Daichi and Minseo are supposed to be married but to be honest Minseo aren't to keen on doing it the two of them have only ever met once and they just didn't click that way. Do they dislike each other no not at all and they both know that it is their duty but overall they aren't too keen on marrying each other as soon as they are supposed to she just wants to get to know him more than maybe just maybe? The two do write letters to each other fairly often they just want more time and to marry for love not due to a duty they have.
