Personality: Starla is normally a very bright, and energetic girl. She's always smiling. Also, she's almost ALWAYS there for her friends when they need her. She's good at both giving advice and hearing the tragedies of thier lives. Star is dead-right loyal to those who accept her. Of course, she's not THAT naive to think that everyone she comes across is as good as they seem. Sure, she might act like kind, and respectful toward people but mostly, Starla can read people fairly clearly. Since she's struggled around the peole once closest to her before, she's extremely cautious with letting people into her life. Especially if they aren't very accepting of her uality. Being out where she's from...it's not very accepted yet, so the fact that she's out and happy about it often infuriates people and some people just don't like that, at all. She's come across people who treat her badly for it and that's the thing that's hardened her heart to letting people in.
Sometimes, Starla is like a ball of energy. She's always doing something, and often enough it annoys people who just want her to be calm, and patient and just...SIT STILL, WILL YOU?! The close relationship they once had was rewriten just as quickly as it had been made. It would be so intense that even if they lived in the same home, they wouldn't talk to each other at all. Of course, something like that really ended up hurting Starla, but luckily after a few years, her mother came around. Even though that did make Starla happy, it wasn't enough to entirely rekindle whatever reationship they had before. They're on talking terms, but there's not much more going on besides that. They don't make time to meet up, only to check up.

Life Background: Starla was the first daughter to her mother. Esther had been so eager awaiting the arrival of her daughter that she had everything planned to a T. The nursery, her wardrobe, her first school, she even had the perfect image of how her daughter would grow up and have her first boyfriend and get married, and have kids but it all stopped short when she started realizing the changes in her daughter. Starla was erratic. It's like she couldn't stop causing chaos no matter where she went. She did things without reason or meaning and had some slight anger issues. Esther didn't know what to do with her baby girl and had her evaluated for several reasons. The process , although tedious, did not put off Daiso, she loved her daughter and she was willing to do anything she could to help her daughter. But, against her dreams, things weren't taking a trun for the better.
From a young age, Starla had lingered closer to female's, but it wasn't until her sixth year Esther realized, she was getting too comfortable with other girls her age. Her brother, who'd never had a good relationship with Esther, extended an olive branch in the form of a place for Starla to stay while she processed. At the time Thiti was living in Korea for work. Esther was reluctant with having Starla so far away since they'd never been seperated that far but, Esther let Starla move in with her brother, where they spent hours upon hours conversing about all the things Starla thought she'd done wrong. Thiti had let her in on a secret; he'd known all along. Starla felt hurt, slightly at the fact because he never talked to her about it. Thiti pledged to help her through her future endeavors.

How you became a trainee: At first, things weren't looking too good for Starla . She couldn't quite get accustomed to the korean culture to save her life, and she was failing school. She tried telling her brother that it wasn't any fun being in korea, but the more she enjoyed his company, the less she felt like she could tell him. She started finding ways or things that would make her stay better, so she started taking interest in the school system, she tried a shot at learning korean, and her grades improved slightly, but it wasn't the best feeling when all you did was dedicate your time to school, so she tried to find hobbies as well, music being one of them. At first, it was guitar only. She practiced it extensively, and that kicked up her singing because...who plays guitar and doesn't sing? She was slightly mediocre, but over time, her vocal abilities flourished. She found soon that she was also good at spoken word rapping.
At school, her abilities were recognized, as she gained friends for her musical inclination, and she joined a small school band. Not to mention that Starla been a fan since she first layed eyes on seulgi when she was in SM Rookies. Her adoration for Seulgi grew with time, and upono debut, that's really when she got her first interaction with Seulgi. It was brief, but it was also sweet. They bowed to each other in recognition, and Seulgi placed a hand on Starla's shoulder. She gave it a squeeze and she'd given Starla the most charming smile, it literally melted her.
