I thought it might be fun to share a bit of the creative side of my writing process while working on my new fic, SHAMELESS (You and Me)

(⌒ヮ⌒) Things like music that inspired scenes or that helps get me in the mood of the story, photos that helped with world-building, sketches I might do to help with visualization, and I may even talk a little about researching and authenticity (if anyone would like to know those last ones..?). I might even share some sneak peeks or deleted scenes. Subscribe if you are interested because I'll just add new pages to this instead of doing separate blogs.

I'll start with the playlist I created during the very beginning stages of developing the story. At that point, it was really only one scene in my head of famous actor Chanyeol asking Baekhyun to pretend to be his boyfriend, and a lot of these songs are what inspired other scenes and what ultimately helped develop the plot I have now (^.^)b I found most of these songs by using the 'stations' feature on Google Play Music. I heard Ellie Goulding's song 'The Greatest' on the radio and thought it really fit the story so that’s the song I used to create the station. I know a lot of people use YouTube for these types of thing but I find that Google Play Music is more accurate at matching up types of songs that will go well together for writing. So I use that to find songs and then I'll also add them to a playlist on YouTube so I can listen on either app.
