35 Writer Questions

I saw this on my bestie's profile and I had to do it too. It seemed fun and a great opportunity for my readers to know more about it.

Enjoy!

1. How did you come up with your username and what does it mean?

It’s a combination of my name –well, a short version of it- and my birth year. Yes, I am old.

2. Which is your most subscribed to story?

Bloody Seduction with 1129 subscribers. That’s insane and I can’t believe so many people subscribed!

3. Why did you pick your user photo/thumbnail?

My dear friend, PinkBlueBeauty, sent me this amazing gif of Himchan and from the first moment I saw it I knew I had to put it as my Profile picture.

4. Who is your AFF bestie?

I can’t say I have a bestie, I just couldn’t pick one favorite from all the many amazing souls I met over the years.

Notable amazing human beings are:

I don't socialize much so please, if you have something to say, hit me up, don't wait for me to do it.

 5. Is there a fanfic that you keep going back to read again and again?

No, not really. There was one, years ago but now it’s deleted and I cannot find it anymore.

I don’t really read much nowadays though.

6. How many stories are you subscribed to?

483

7. Which AU do you find yourself writing the most?

I don’t think I have a favorite AU or an AU that is my favorite to write. Usually, I try placing the idols in day-to-day situations or plot-lines. I also tend to make them suffer a lot, idk, is that an AU?

8. How many friends do you have?

470

9. Is there something you'd like to write about but are afraid of people judging you for it? (Feeling brave? If so, share it!)

I already write stuff people would judge me for, but I really don’t care. People will always judge you no matter what you do/write so I write whatever I want.

I dabbled into suicide, , drugs, and crime and I will not stop here lol.

10. Is there anything you would like to be better at on AFF?  Writing, graphic design (posters), replying to comments, updating regularly, etc..?

I used to write and update a lot on my early days and now I am lacking mostly because of my work and University. I want to be better at writing and I try writing every day so I can sharpen my skill.

I’d also love to be able to make posters because it’s damn hard to find anyone to make you a decent poster for your story.

 11. How many subscribers do you have?

9437 amazing subscribers <3

12. How many stories have you posted online to this day (finished and unfinished)?

22.

13. How many stories do you have saved in your writing program?

5 XD

I used to just write, update and then delete the chapter but nowadays I am saving everything I write.

 14. Do you write down story ideas, or just keep them in your head?

I have a little notebook that I keep close to my bed because usually I would wake up in the middle of the night and write down the ideas I dream of. Usually, I have lots of ideas but most of them don’t make it on paper or if they do, they are greatly modified. I keep changing my mind so even my plots suffer changes in the middle of the story. That’s why I twist my stories a lot.

15. Have you ever co-authored a story?

Yes, and I loved every second of it but things don’t always go as planned and the story is now on, I guess, permanent hiatus. Maybe one day we will be on speaking terms again and we will finish it. Until then, it remains a mystery.

I have a finished co-author story from my early days though I did most of the work and barely got credit.

I tend to avoid co-authoring stuff as I really want to go on my own crazy way with the stories.

16. How did you discover AFF?

I discovered it through Facebook I think. I was in a K-pop group from my country and people were talking about fanfics and I started browsing the site. I found an interesting ToDae story and that’s when I signed up.

17. Do you consider yourself to be a popular or famous author on AFF?

No, but I don’t write for popularity. I am an attention-, I am well aware of that but I don’t consider myself popular or famous. I’m just an aspiring writer, crafting his skill, and seeing that people like my scenarios couldn’t make me happier.

18. Do you have a nickname or fandom name for your readers?

Yes, my fans are called yPandas.

Why you might ask? Well, I write a lot of y stuff and Seungri’s nickname is Panda so I thought it would be appropriate.

I also call my readers Loves, Babies, Cuties.

19. Was there an AFF author who inspired or encouraged you to write?

I don’t remember anyone at first, I just wrote because I wanted to see if I am good at it or not. Currently, my amazing readers encourage me to write and update more frequently.

20. How many karma points do you have?

2284

21. What writing advice would you give to a beginning author?

Write. Write. Write.

Writing is a skill that constantly develops and changes and the only way to ‘perfect’ it is to continue doing it. Start slowly, put a few words on paper every day and set up goals. Write every day, do it at your own pace and you’ll see that it will improve every time.

Also read, read to improve your vocabulary and grammar. You can’t be a writer without being a reader at first.

Do this and you’ll be extraordinary.

22. Do you plot out your stories, or do you just figure it out as you go?

Like I said earlier, I change my plots all the times. I don’t really plan but there are certain scenes, like the entry –or exit- of a character that I like planning in the littlest of detail and those scenes are the hardest to write. I love it this way and I don’t think things will change much.

23. Have you ever gotten a bad review or comment on a story? If so, what did you do?

Of course, everyone gets bad reviews and comments and they used to affect me a lot. Mostly, there were people complaining that a certain pair isn’t getting the attention they deserve, or that I don’t write about a certain pair.

I don’t get affected as much these days, and as long as the criticism is well-funded and not pure hate, I take it as a constructive one. I always strive to do better.

24. Is there a certain type of scene that you have a hard time writing? (action, , etc..)

Murders and crime-scenes are hard to write because I have to figure out every little detail in order to make it credible. Also, when I wrote SCI-FI inspired stories, the fight scenes came out quite awkwardly but I am always improving XD

is also kind of hard to write since I like the reader to feel the passion that it’s going on between the protagonists and that usually takes a lot to write. Like I said, I am a perfectionist when it comes to my writing and even if a word is misplaced, I usually delete the whole paragraph. I’m weird, I know.

25. What story(s) are you working on now?

I prefer focusing only on one story and currently, Bloody Seduction: Kissed and Killed is occupying my time.

26. Do you plan your next project(s) before you finish your current ongoing story(s)?

Sadly, yes and my ideas get all jumbled up and that’s when I get writer’s block. It happens every time I start a new story, or when I finish one. It’s horrible but that’s how I roll.

Right now, I am thinking of a Coven of Witches and I really want to write that lol.

 27. Do you have a daily writing goal set for yourself?

I write about 1000-1500 words a day but mostly everything gets deleted.

For a chapter, I’d say 2000-2500 is quite enough. Sometimes, I would go for 3000 but that’s rare.

28. Do you think you've improved as a writer since you first started?

Yes, I did. I am not bragging or anything but yes, I did improve.

29. What is your favorite story that you've written?

There’s a bit of me and my experiences in every one of my story and I have them all to my heart.

I love Family AffairsBloody SeductionTattoo Of My HeartLove Is My Handicap and Our Love Story

Which one is your favorite?

30. What is your least favorite story that you’ve written?

None. They are all part of me, part of my experience.

31. Where do you see yourself (as a writer) in 5 years?

I don’t even know what I’ll eat for dinner; don’t ask me what I’ll do in 5 years.

32. How many upvotes do you have?

797, OMG I HAVEN’T NOTICED. Freaking out here lol

I love you all <3

33. What is the easiest thing about writing?

Dialogues between characters that dislike each other because I can get as sassy as I want to be and let me tell you, SassyCassy is one sassy dude lol.

34. What is the hardest thing about writing?

Actually writing, typing words in order for them to have sense. Creating a scene in your head and just failing to deliver it on paper is hard and frustrating. Usually, when I say I will write, I spend 30 minutes staring at my laptop screen, dying on the inside.

35. Why do you write?

I write to make people happy. Lol, this sounded like I am the Mother Theresa or writing.

I write because it’s fun and –dare I say- I am good enough at it.  I write because I want to share stories of my experiences in other perspectives. I write because it relaxes me after a long day and hopefully it relaxes my readers too. I write because I want to tell stories that no others have told. I write because I can, I was blessed with this skill that I continue to sharpen. I write because I love it.

I had so much fun answering this! I really felt like a professional writer being interviewed.

Please, everyone interested, give it a try.

Have a blessed day <3

Oh my goodness SassyCassy XD!
That was so wonderful to read. No. 35 gave me a lump in my throat. You are so amazing and I’ve loved reading all your stories.
For me personally I’d have to say Family Affairs and Love is my handicap are stories that I will read again and again. I can’t say that I’ve enjoyed reading anything else as much, ever!
I love your mind and the stories you come up with. The fact that many are based on your own experiences makes them even more special <3
