keanu is naive and oh so innocent to the world. he's almost like a fresh baby bird that's attempting to fly without realising how easy it is to fall. he's been sheltered by family majority of his life and therefore hidden from the true terrors and stresses that the adult life holds. but nonetheless, he's overwhelmingly optimistic and proud, claiming he'll survive the world and take it by storm. keanu is creative and full of ideas that are bursting at the seams. he's empathic to all types of people and loves making friends with comeplete strangers without even thinking whether they are good people or not. he has the bad habit of running his mouth and speaking without a filter, unaware of what he's been saying could easily make people roll their eyes at him.

keanu hwang was born in auckland, new zealand on the 30th of january. his family had been in new zealand for two generations now and he was the beginning of the third. the hwang family were tight and close, often times taking family trips around the south island. he was always the youngest, the only child of his parents and the youngest male out of his cousins. this obviously lead to him being babied for most of his life. whenever he had an issue he had family to turn to and bulky cousins to go beat up bullies for him.
in his late teenage years, keanu began becoming more independant. majority of his cousins had either become too busy in their adult lives or moved away leaving their youngest relative alone. he began travelling with friends in school holidays, filming their adventures and capturing the pure beauty that new zeleands nature had to offer. in his last year of highschool one of his cousins invited him to come live with him in korea, encouraging him to apply for one of the universities over there.

keanu was rejected from kafa and boy did that dampen his spirits at first. instead of rotting in his bedroom, he decided to take a gap year and work on his film skills. besides, he could always try again next year. the first few months of his gap year were spent exploring south korea and travelling with his trusty dslr.
these days he manages to support his hobbies by working in a small plant nursery where his love for nature can blossom. weekdays are spent talking to customers, watering plants and cooing each time a new leaf pops up on the nurseries devil's ivy.

yeah tons! i do a lot of film stuff as a hobby. in fact i can even send you some of my previous projects which are all shot and edited by me.

other than to steal your identity? heh, just joking. i uh- kinda applied for kafa and didn't get in. so i'm hoping by joining this project it might help my chances in getting accepted next year. especially since it's directed by a kafa student.

probably All The Way. i literally have nothing happening in my life now. and i kinda need some friends. so i can ensure you you'll get 145% from me.
