Hey everyone! It's me, Adi, back with another blog! Alright, this won't be too long, so don't worry! Okay, so, last night, I wrote this poem, and I actually really like the concept. I was wondering if I should write a fan-fiction/story based on the poem, once I'm done with my current story? As in, should I keep a draft based on this poem? Well, go ahead and read it, see if it's good or not, and be honest!

By The Sea

Every day, whenever I feel stressed, which I usually do,

I go out and take a walk by the beach.

The sea-waves splash along with some pebbles,

and the atmosphere feels calm with the cool breeze.

 

Last week, I accidentally kicked a rock at you,

it wasn’t supposed to offend you in any way,

but I snapped the moment you glared at me,

so I’m sorry for what I said that day.

 

I was so shocked to see you at the dorms the next day,

I didn’t know we went to the same university.

Honestly, I’ve noticed you’re a great person,

you’re kind, helpful, responsible and funny.

 

On the other hand, I’m the total opposite.

I cry and scream in fear, I feel lost sometimes.

But seeing you all goofy and happy excited me,

I realized that all I need is your smile.

 

Maybe that accident wasn’t so bad,

Maybe it was right to meet by the sea.

I know we haven’t talked much,

but let’s try to get along at least.

 

I want you to be my friend, a close friend.

I think you’re the one who can make me smile.

Sorry, I guess I’m asking too much,

but I sure hope it’s worth a try.

 

If you want to, perhaps, save a life,

then please save me from tears and negativity.

If you want to help me out with life sometimes,

can we, like before, meet by the sea?

 

The poem is basically about 2 people meeting by the sea, and one of them realizing that they need the other. What do you think? Good enough for a story?
