but honestly, SM, congrats on 2018 so far.

Something I've realized this year and it's made me really happy.

You're treating your artists with respect and letting them rest compared to most companies out there that have been pushing out comeback after comeback with multiple concerts.

my personal thought is that it's because of Jonghyun. 

SM realized how badly they ed up and maybe they finally realized they gotta care about their artist as human beings. 

Let me list all the good things SM has done as a company this year.

1. SM Station. What other company do you know is producing songs that are almost always a collab between different artist? For example, the Baekhyun x Loco song. Which company is producing collabs like that? (the answer is none) 

2. Almost all of the S.M groups & solo artist have had a comeback this year, but they're not shoved with 2120341204124 stages and albums and 12043214312371 concert performances.

• BoA : 1 shot 2 shot 
• TVXQ: New Chapter #1 
• SJ: Lo Siento #SJshowingLovetofansthatareotherRaces #oneofthefirstmajorKpopxSpanishsongs (that was under a major label. not to put down any other artist that has produced a Kpop x Spanish song) 
  • D&E: Bout You (THIS SONG IS TOO GOOD) 
• SNSD (or what's left of them): OH!GG's Lil' Touch
  • Taeyeon: Something New
  • Hyoyeon: SOBER. (THIS SONG IS AMAZING AND LET'S FIGHT IF YOU DON'T THINK SO)
  • Yoona: To You. 
• SHINee: The story of light (#bless this comeback)
• F(X): (well no comeback)
  • Amber: whatever the heck she wants because SM legit just let her co-sign to an American label
  • Luna: Night Reminiscin. Um Luna #blessyourvocals 
• EXO: (it's coming fans don't worry) also #EXO x Olympics. can we talk about how amazing that is that SM could get that for them and bc of how INFLUENTIAL they are.  #improudofyouandMJisproudofyou
  • all the SM Station collabs: Baekhyun x Loco, Chanyeol x Sehun which are both mother ffukking good? 
  • CBX: B L O O M I N G  D A Y S. DO I NEED TO SAY MORE??!?!?! #alwayslisteningtoThursdayonaThursday
• Red Velvet: Bad Boy & Power Up
• NCT: NCT 2018 Empathy album that legit was the SM's explanation of what NCT is.
  • NCT 127: which is coming, thanks Jungwoo. ALSO TOUCH? 'cause we're touching each other' - mark 2K18 
  • NCT U: BOsssssSSSSSS. Baby DONT STOPPPP (#plsneverstop). YESTOdayyyy. 
  • NCT Dream: We Go UPPPPPPP . GOOOOOOOOO. 
  • Ten: H E R O E S 

Granted the only groups in SM that didn't get a comeback are Kangta and S.E.S & J-Min but can we talk about how many comebacks SM has produced this year and didn't shove all of it down our throats throughout the span of a year???? (*cough*exo in 2013 - 2017*cough*) 

Like yeah, I love hearing 20158239421 songs from my artist each year but I want them to rest, and I'm glad S.M is letting them rest. Like the wait between Bad Boy and Power Up is such a reasonable time for them to rest and comeback. (since bad boy came out february and Power up back in August) 

TBH, SM gets a lot of for being a horrible company but at least they're treating their artist with respect this year and letting them do whatever the they want. 

Amber wants to produce songs in English? Well we at that so here, go sign to a top notch American label that can help you grow as an artist. 

Hyoyeon, you wanna be a DJ? well here you go, go produce some songs for station and then we'll have you register to perform as a DJ at festivals so you can live your dream.

Yoona, you want a solo? well here you go. Go do you and do what you want.

Baekhyun, you wanna just do a bunch of VLives of you playing games? well here, we'll create a section of VLive called SM league and have you do whatever you want 

Sehun, Chanyeol and Kai, you wanna go to Europe and be hot models that will make everyone else outside of Korea jealos of you for being a hot piece of ? well here you go, go to Tommy Hillfiger and go wow everyone like you want to.

Lay, you want go perform at Lollapalooza and release an English/Chinese album? Well you go do you booo and we hope you're successful.

SHINee, you want to perform an entire series of songs dedicated to your brother? Well #same so let's talk about Jonghyun being our light and how he'll always be here with us, and we'll show our love and affection for him through the songs he would use as poetry. Also, don't worry about promotions, this is all for Jonghyun and you so don't worry about anything. 

Do you not see how much SM has done for their artists?

I'm just really happy they're treating their artists with respect this year.

and it's all thanks to Jonghyun. Jonghyun, I think you've really made a difference on how SM treats their artists, and I'm so thankful.

So this concludes my short little rant about how S.M is a better company thanks to Jonghyun, and wish other companies would take notice of this and let their artists rest

*i'm looking straight at you bighit. give BTS a break P L E A S E . i appreciate the comebacks but they quality goes down when they're having to produce 120312381 songs over the span of less than a year.*

I might have ted on BigHit but i'm goign to use this section to congratulate BTS and Namjoon's speech. asdfaosdkf YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW FUVKING PROUD OF YOU I AM. Namjoon, you've always held a special place in my heart from your debut (as you were one of the only members i remembered their names). but you have grown SO MUCH and now here you are, speaking at the U.N on behalf of UNICEF promoting something that means a lot to you. I know how much you used to get from your debut till now (and still some hate. and i always questioned it bc i was like? ur hot? wtf? who's saying u ugly. boi fight me.). And here you are, promoting to love yourself, something you have learned, to do and everyone should do. something I need to work on a ton. but here you are, helping to spread an influence on the world and I could not be prouder of you. Keep doing what you're doing. Keep speaking on behalf of everyone else who can't always get their voices heard. keep speaking about the positivity that is loving yourself first before you can go love someone else.
