He has a mop of slightly wavy, dark brown hair often smelling of chlorine―or peppermint after he showers. Changsun has black, beady eyes with a distict, slight puff on his lower eyelids that remind one of eyebags―but they are not eyebags.

PICTURE PERFECT?
No Changsun was born in a small city in Togyeong surrounded by water to Lee Byul, a chic, physician mother and No Sihyun, a renowned, genius pianist father. His sweet, little sister joined the family after three years. Because No Sihyun is well-sought, they lived quite a comfortable life—quite similar of those born with a silver spoon.
Being a son to a genius pianist, people expect him to be Sihyun's successor. Changsun also looked up to his dad and has seriously learnt piano since the age of 5. But Changsun had something else he loves doing—swimming. He liked learning piano from his dad but he likes swimming more. It was the only thing that can rip him away from playing the piano. Sihyun didn't stop him, rather proud his son found his element. And Changsun realized he loved being in water after they've moved to Seoul when he entered middle school (moving because of an offer his mother was given at a hospital in Seoul). The freedom he felt when he went swimming with his friends on the beach was taken away from him thus, causing him to join the swimming club in his new school. In the swimming club is where he met his trainer and the trainer's son, Son Hakjoon.
Changsun showed potential as a swimmer—as observed by Hakjoon's father. He also proved it by winning multiple competition. He slowly nabbed bronze, then silver then gold medal. In his first year of high school, however, Changsun made a false start in one of the biggest competition he was trusted to win. As he's never made the mistake before, he couldn't believe it even though his coach said it was because he was nervous. Because of that one mistake, he couldn't focus in practice. Instead of beating his best time, he added a heap of time. Mistakes after mistakes was made in competitions. It frustrated Changsun to the point that he skipped practice. He was then put out of the school's competing athlete temporarily by the coach.
Seeing what Changsun is going through, his father gifted him a keyboard. It was meant to be another way for Changsun to release his stress. But after having a really bad day, Changsun who is never quick to judge other's intentions, just assumed Sihyun wanted him to follow in his footsteps if swimming won't work. They got into a rare fight causing Changsun to leave the house and go to Hakjoon's.
As Sihyun cooled down, he went to pick Changsun up to clear their misunderstandings--to say that he never wanted Changsun to give up swimming. However, Sihyun got caught up in an accident and was rushed to the hospital. Hearing the news, Changsun immediately went to the hospital, finding his family outside the operation hall. After waiting for an hour and a half the surgeon brought them the good news: the surgery was a success. They waited for him to wake up but even after a whole day, he was still asleep.
A doctor herself, Lee Byul knew Sihyun has fallen into a coma. She broke it down to her own children after consulting with the doctor in charge of Sihyun. She also told the press that caught the news of Sihyun's condition and asked them to not create any more news following the statement that she's made. Although it was hard, No Eul returned to train as a soloist (loving music enough to pursue it) while Changsun to his swimming.
With his father in a coma, Changsun slowly went back to the water to find peace in the current, emotional chaos his family was in. He worked hard to improve his swimming with the help of his coach. He'd also play the keyboard gifted by Sihyun in Sihyun's hospital room. It was his way to reconcile with his comatose father and hoping he'd wake up and play the piano again. Soon, he got back into his former form as the Ace of the swimming team. Overcoming his slump and improving, he was offered a scholarship by SNU--a college his father attended. He entered Human Physiology as his major. He has his eyes set on being a Physiotherapist, Exercise Physicist or a swimming coach.

ADVENTURES IN THE DORM
ROLE: Changsun is in charge of picking up groceries on his way back from swimming practice in the evening, and taking out the trash in the morning before his morning jog. (He can make fruit smoothie...no?) Here's the real catch, his mother gave him her car to use because she won't need it much and thus, he's the official driver for his dorm mates.
LIFESTYLE : Changsun starts his day with a morning jog or short swim, leaving the dorms quietly. He'll come back to his dorm mates already sitting around the breakfast table. At times, he'll join after he showered. If he has morning class, he'll shake up a smoothie then leave. He'll come back before dinner, retiring on the sofa in the living room as he waits for dinner to be ready (he'd fall asleep sometimes and one of them wakes him up). He'll then study before going to sleep if he has nothing planned. Otherwise, he'll receive a call and head out to hang out with Hakjoon or his girlfriend (he tends to ignore her calls though) or his little sister. On Saturday night, he'll most likely won't come home to visit his dad and spend the night in the hospital. He'll leave a sticky note saying: "Won't be back till tomorrow. -Changsun" The sticky note left the dorm mates wondering what he's doing but as they got to know each other deeper, they found out who his dad is and his dad's situation (they'd most likely found out by accident or someone is curious enough to follow him).

The wall where his study table is positioned against is covered with post-it notes. The keyboard Sihyun gave is tucked inside his wardrobe, covered with black covers. He only takes it out and plays when no one is around the dorms.

ROOM DESIGN : A huge bed, with comfy pillows, a jacket hanging rack beside a chair and a study table. FIRST MEETING : They first met for Inha's Journalism assignment. The diligent, first-year Inha out for her first Journalism assignment to interview first-year Changsun, the Ace of the swimming team. Most people who approached him had known he was the son of No Sihyun, thus, the main reason they interview him. He refused to be interviewed with his father as a topic. Meanwhile, Inha approached him simply because he's won a national competition recently.
He was cleaning the pool when Inha greeted him and introduced herself. Changsun sighed, a little irritated now that his cleaning has been interrupted. Again. "Sorry, but I told the others no. So, no."
"It'll just be a few minutes," Inha told him. Changsun finished cleaning, with Inha trying to persuade him. "Please, this might be a life and death situation for me."
Changsun tensed when she said the word death. "Ya..!" He burst out, finally. He shrugged Inha's arm which was on his shoulder. "Having one failed assignment won't kill you, okay?" But his words were met with sound of something hitting the water and a groan. It turned out Inha had almost slipped and when she regained her footing, her bag made a dive into the pool. Cursing at the cause of his actions inside, Changsun pulled Inha from the edge of the pool. "I'll do it," he said as he took off his jacket and diving in his tees. He quickly pulled the heavy bag and dragged himself out the pool.
What conspired next was them drying Inha's book out in the sun (and Changsun drying himself) in silence. Because Changsun felt guilty, he agreed to be interviewed. He didn't expect her questions to be about him and none about his father--and felt even more guilty. He told her to wait while he went out to get coffee as a way to apologize. Before they split ways, Changsun thank her for not bringing up any questions about his father.
DEVELOPEMENT : The second time they officially met was in their second year when Hakjoon called Changsun to pick him up with an umbrella since it was raining. Turns out, Inha was also waiting for the rain to stop since she doesn't want to get her book wet. Changsun has seen her a few times as he met Juha in front of her class, but they've never exchanged greetings since she didn't see him. Maybe it was because they've only met once (and she wasn't meeting him for assignments), Inha went all shy. Her shyness caused Changsun to chuckle,"Where's the persistent Yu Inha I met back then?"
They, Hakjoon and Changsun, eventually stayed while keeping Inha company. The three talked, getting to know each other until the rain stopped. On their way home, Changsun invited her to his swimming meet. It was a casual invite since he was already going out with Juha and if she won't come he was fine with it. But she did come.
It was a successful meet, with Changsun even beating his record time. But a call from her mother about his father's situation made him felt as if he has lost. His father had a cardiac arrest and was under a tight watch in case he had another one. Despite that, his mother told him not to panic and only come after the meet.
He faked a smile in front of everyone but as soon as the swimming pool is empty, he sat on the benches after he showered and changed. He had his head covered with a towel, looking down on his phone. His mother had updated him that his father was stable. Changsun wanted to drive to the hospital but since he wasn't thinking straight, he tried to calm himself first. He was terrified at the thought of losing his father that he was about to break down when a finger poked his shoulder.
"You won and beaten your own record," Inha spoke. She lifted the towel covering Changsun's face. "Why do you look--Sorry," she squeaked when she saw his 'about-to-cry' face. After a few moments of silence, Inha stood in front of him. She began drying his hair as she said, "I don't know what happened. But you'll catch a cold if you don't dry your hair properly."
He let his guard loose and cried quietly. Strangely, Changsun felt comforted and reassured that everything will be alright rather than being embarrassed crying in front of a girl.
From then on, he seemed to notice Inha a lot. In the cafeteria, the library, or a cafe. They'd cross paths or Changsun simply observed her from far. If they met, once in a while, something foreign enters his heart. It was weird because as he got to know her, she's a total opposite of him and someone who jumps in without thinking. But he looked forward to seeing her, his heart races when she smiled at him and he even thought her pretty. Realizing what a mess he is near her, he tried to stay away from her and focus on Juha. Although, soon, Juha's terms in dating frustrated him.
And then comes Hakjoon with Inha's ad. Changsun contemplated a lot before meeting her. But with no other options or dorms available, he decided he'll ask about the dorm. So he waited out side her class. This time, he was waiting for Inha--not Juha--to finish the class. It surprised people when he went out of the building with another girl.
INTERACTIONS : Changsun is noticeably much more comfortable around her. Much more open. But since he still hasn't broken it off with Juha (officially anyway), he'll stop himself and hide his feelings. I've always been inclined to use Sungjoo of UNIQ as a faceclaim but if you want to change him, I don't mind (No Changsun's faceclaim was originally Ten of NCT and totally different that this Changsun).
