Unpopular Kpop Opinions

Saw this, might as well

Don't hate on me for my opinions. These are mine and my take on things

1. I didn't really like it after BTS sort of became more popular in the U.S. Don't get me wrong, success is great and everything but now they're just throws up hands in frustration too mainstream

2. It does seem like it to me but odd ships need to be more popular. I mean you see idols be friends with other idols in other groups. Why not ship other groups together? ~~Only because I'm an odd ship writer myself but that's beside the point~~

3. Girl groups are super overly ualized now a days. I know there's a few out there that still go with the cutesy concept but the overly y concept is just ugh.

4. Underrated groups need to stop being underrated. seriously people. STOP SLEEPING ON UNDERRATED GROUPS

5. Idols have lives outside their companies. I still think there's still people who don't realize that but whatever.

I agree with like, all of these! I still love BTS, but I feel like compared to BS&T, DNA wasn't that good and is my least favourite title track. They really brought it with Fake Love, and Idol is better than DNA, but not as good as Fake Love.
One of my favourite "odd ships" is ChanMin- EXO's Chanyeol and BTS' Jimin lmao.
I feel like there's a lot of pressure on girl groups to be y. I think they get hate either way, though- they get hate for being y and they get hate for being cute. And groups that break that barrier and don't do a concept like that are underrated and no one's heard of them and/or they get sht on for not doing a concept like that. My poor girls, can't win no matter what TT

It genuinely concerns me that people think they own celebrities. like.

I agree with so many of these things? Like BTS, they're amazingly talented, they're cool dudes, deserve everything. But if I'm looking for like SHINee I don't want BTs popping up every two seconds. There are other groups.

Mixed group ships are amazing. I love them! I feel like they're just more dynamic

Girl groups I mean- the more adult themes are cool but there's a limit? Like hyuna is hyuna, she has her thing. But if you're a girl group widh young members please dont ualize them yeah they're 19 but... Still

Underrated groups are cool too. I hate when people are like "cool, yeah, new, BUT HAVE YOU HEARD OF BTS? OR EXO?" Yes, yes I have. Bye.

Lastly BRUUUUH I get happy for idols when they're like "hey! Vacation time!" I'm like yeah, go live your own life. Off screen. Chilling. Breathing and .
