Namshin exudes a very y concept even without trying. He likes being in the spotlight since and is quite comfortable with cameras. He usually tries to be cute even though it looks cringy.

Background. Namjoo and his twin sister were born in the Philippines. their birth parents are Korean but they wouldn't know about them. They were adopted by another Korean couple that resided permanently in the country. Yeojoo's real mother was a student at the time and got pregnant by her boyfriend. Out of fear of what her family will think, she thought of having the twins aborted but it was the twins' adopted parents who stopped her and instead helped her until they were born and the twins were legally adopted. 

Growing up, the twins were bullied for being different. their skin were fair and flawless while the other children were like everyone else in the neigborhood, they were all darker in color. When they were 16, the twins decided to look for their real mother in Korea. All they got was her name and an old address. They tried their luck and went to Seoul. Namsoo and Yeojoo lived in an apartment they rented and was quite surprised when he learned that Yeojoo agreed to become a trainee for Pledis. He heard about the company so he wanted to make sure that it was real and decided to go with Yeojoo once to Pledis to check and it was true. The Pledis officials saw him and asked if he's interested to become a trainee and he agreed.

Namsoo often gets irritated seeing Yeojoo being a lazy every time he asks Yeojoo to join him at the gym. he likes tossing and playing with his sister. He also is overprotective of her and always interrogates her about boys, saying he needs to approve the guy first.

"This hyung is scary", Namsoo said as he first met the younger guy. Because of his manly and scary demeanor, he's often misunderstood and looks a little older than his actual age. "Hyung?" the younger asked, dumbfounded. He is a sunbae when it came to training as he was a trainee for 7 years before his debut. Namsoo looked at him with a clueless expression. "I was born 1992... and you?" he asked which the younger answered, "95 liner", making the older feel awkward even more.

Zak is Namsoo's English speaking buddy. both growing up in English speaking countries. The other members feel alienated by them as they have their own world when they talk in English.

Namsoo and Jongjin are at the practice room to practice a choreography, the two males stared at the mirror, Namsoo looking at his own appearance while the other is staring at him through the huge mirrors. Namsoo catching it stared back at the younger and both of them laugh.

Hansang is considered the main bully of the group but not in a bad way. he's just naughty and likes tricking the others especially Hoon. He can't bully Namsoo though since he kinda idolizes the older.

Hoon is the other baby of the group. He's the usual victim of the other members' pranks. He likes clinging to Namsoo because he finds Namsoo really strong and he likes feeling small despite his tall stature.

Minyoon is the 3rd eldest in the group and is the one who co-manages the group after Namshin. He's a perfectionist and is the strict one. they are really close and the two respects each other's way of leading the group.

Hyunuk was the last member to join the group. He lacked in many things but with Namsoo's perseverance and hardwork, he turned this boy from a Class F idol to a Class A. Hyunuk is now the best in dancing.

What made you want to be an idol?

— I grew up watching the first generation idols and they looked really cool but if you look at those videos now, they look silly.. but still, it inspired me. My mom encouraged me to learn more about Korea so when I heard the music, I just got addicted to it.

What do you consider to be your best skill?

— my dancing skills. I might not be the best in the industry but I'm one of them. I can do singing, dancing and rapping really well though.

What concepts are you best at?

— I've been with Unit B and we've always been manly and y so I guess that concept would be the best concept for me.

Are you a fan of any sm artists?

— I'm a fan of TVXQ. I was also a fan of Shinhwa since they were in SM Entertainment before.

Training and Idol life. 

— Namshin was the second trainee for the group that is under Pledis, Unit B. He joined a month after his sister, He got casted after being seen by the Pledis officials while dropping Yeojoo off. Being in Korea for a short period of time, he noticed the cultural difference Korea and the Philippines have, despite being Korean, he was bullied by sunbae trainees for being different. He learned to speak and write in Korean again as English was his first language when he was in the Philippines. He was a hardworking trainee and was an ace in evrything he tried. Unit B and its sister group, Unit G debuted back to back on January 2012 and was quite famous that tame but their popularity started to fade as newer and better groups debuted making them irrelevant. 

Experience. 

— He was in a fictional group called "Sunny Boys" with Won, Zak and Woo for a TV drama called "IDolls".
— He collaborated with his twin sister for a song after their debut. the unit debuted with their title song Dododo.

comments. I hope I did okay with this boy. I'm not sure if singing is really his skill since Jun is his twin... Jun isn't that great in singing and his main position in U-Kiss was rapper and dancer. He only became main vocalist since all the other members of UNB were dancers and rappers.
