MY GRANDFATHER'S CLOCK
Hey guys! I suddenly remembered this song which I used to sing in my childhood days of school! So I am writing it down here... May be you guys will also remember it along with childhood memories! So here we go!
My grandfather's clock was
Too large for the shelf,
So it stood ninety years on the floor
It was taller by half than
The old man himself,
Though it weighed not a penny weight more
It was bought on the morn
On the day that he was born,
And was always his treasure and pride,
But it stopped, short, never to go
Again when the old man died.
CHROUS
Ninety years without slumbering
Tick, tock, tick, tock
He's life's seconds mumbering
Tick, tock, tick, tock
It stopped short never to go again
When the old man died.
Thank you for reading!
